Stephanie was instantly thrilled, asking excitedly, “Really?! Tawanna invited me to be her guest?! She, how did she even think of me? We’re not even close!”
Then, as if something clicked, she asked Charlie wade, “Brother Charlie wade, did you ask her to invite me?”
Charlie wade shook his head with a laugh, “Not quite. She overheard us talking on the phone on the plane. Probably wants to cozy up a bit. If you’re up for it, I’ll take you to meet her later. If not, I’ll let her know and turn it down.”
“I’m up for it!” Stephanie said eagerly, “I’ve always liked her. She’s so talented, writes most of her own songs, super impressive. Before I debuted, I listened to her music all the time. Performing with her would be a precious new experience before I fully step away from the entertainment world.”
Charlie wade nodded, “Since you’re keen, I’ll set up a time for us to meet and chat with her.”
“Great!” Stephanie agreed without hesitation, “Thanks for arranging it, Brother Charlie wade!”
