Just as he spoke, a Gu Family scout rushed into the courtyard.
After learning Lin Yun was at Xiaoyao Tower, Gu Family Head had sent scouts to monitor the tower closely.
“Family Head, the Heavenly Sword Sect leader, the Wanderer, Du Yuanzi, and the three Tribulation Realm cultivators Lin Yun brought from the Huoyun Empire met Lin Yun at Xiaoyao Tower. They’re heading towards us now!” the scout said urgently.
“What? Coming here?” The group was shocked.
“Lin Yun’s bringing these people—what, does he plan to fight us?” the Great Elder of the Soul Refining Sect said.
“Fight? Laughable! In Xingwu City, at the emperor’s feet, he wouldn’t dare!” Gu Family Head sneered.
“True,” the others nodded, reassured.

Though the Gu Family knew Lin Yun was coming, seeing him barge in so brazenly made them frown.
Gu Family Head stood with his hands behind his back, staring at Lin Yun with a cold smile, “Lin Yun, what do you want? Don’t tell me you plan to fight here?!”
The earlier commotion had drawn all the Zhutian Alliance members in the mansion to the courtyard, including Gu Dong and others.
“This guy actually dared to show up here?” Gu Dong said venomously.
Lin Yun’s sharp gaze swept the crowd, exuding an aura of dominance as he declared:
“Listen well. I, Lin Yun, am here today not just to fight but to completely eradicate you remnants of the Zhutian Alliance!”

“Fine, I’ll indulge you!” Lin Yun’s lips curled slightly.
