Absolute God Chapter 2353

“Daddy!” Lin Kexin quickly hid in Lin Yun’s arms.

Lin Yun, holding her, gave a wry smile. “Ying’er, if she likes drawing, let her draw.”

“You’re spoiling her. This past half-year, you’ve been with her every day—I’m getting jealous,” Yu Ying said, pouting.

In the six months since the full-month banquet, Lin Yun had stayed by Lin Kexin’s side, watching her grow from an infant into a lively, hopping toddler angel. He’d also taken it upon himself to teach her principles of life and conduct, helping her form a strong moral foundation.

Of course, as Kexin grew, she could be quite mischievous, bringing Lin Yun both joy and exasperation.

“Ying’er, how about I spend tonight with you?” Lin Yun grinned.

Yu Ying’s cheeks flushed. “The child’s right here—don’t talk nonsense.”

She then pulled out a letter. “By the way, Yun-gege, this came from the Dragon Clan.”

Lin Yun took and opened it.

It was from Little Green Dragon, who explained that he couldn’t yet arrange an alliance between the Dragon Clan and humans. He’d merely raised the idea in a clan meeting, only to face opposition from the revered elders.

Little Green Dragon could only assure that the Dragon Clan wouldn’t harm humans. An alliance would have to wait for the right time.

“Yun-gege, is this about the Dragon Clan alliance?” Yu Ying asked.

Lin Yun nodded. “As expected, it’s not happening for now.”

When Lin Yun wrote to Little Green Dragon, he hadn’t insisted on making it happen, only asking if an alliance was feasible.

If possible, he’d help facilitate it; if not, there was no need to force it.

At the letter’s end, Little Green Dragon congratulated Lin Yun on his daughter, saying he couldn’t visit but wanted to be her godfather.

“Oh, Yun-gege, there’s also this box that came with the letter.”

Yu Ying handed him a box.

Lin Yun opened it, and a dazzling light burst forth.

Inside was a sparkling, crystalline pearl.

“A Dragon Spirit Pearl!” Lin Yun exclaimed.

This was an extremely rare treasure in the Dragon Clan.

“Little Green Dragon, sending something this valuable,” Lin Yun said with a wry smile.

“Yun-gege, what’s it for?” Yu Ying asked curiously.

“It can reshape the body, greatly boosting strength and physical toughness. It makes body cultivation easier and less painful. Let’s save it for Kexin, but she’s too young to handle its intense effects now,” Lin Yun said.

He handed the pearl to Yu Ying for safekeeping.

“Daddy, what’s the Dragon Clan?” Kexin asked, looking at Lin Yun with curious, innocent eyes.

“Kexin, the Dragon Clan is a powerful race in the Endless Sea. Remember when Daddy told you about the Endless Sea?” Lin Yun said, smiling.

“Of course! Daddy said the Endless Sea isn’t human territory, and it’s full of different races and very dangerous!” Kexin answered earnestly.

“Smart girl.”

Lin Yun playfully tapped her nose. He’d only mentioned the Endless Sea once, and her clear memory warmed his heart.

“Everything Daddy says, Kexin remembers!” she said, flashing a sweet smile.

Her words filled Lin Yun with warmth.

He looked at Yu Ying. “Ying’er, I’ve been home for seven months. I plan to leave tomorrow to continue my mission. I’ll leave Kexin in your care.”

“Go with peace of mind. I’ll take care of her,” Yu Ying nodded.

“Daddy, you’re leaving?” Kexin tugged at Lin Yun’s clothes, her big, watery eyes fixed on him.

“Yes, Daddy has to go out for a bit,” Lin Yun said, nodding with a smile.

“Kexin doesn’t want Daddy to go!” Tears welled up in her eyes, spilling over.

Lin Yun crouched down, pulling her into his arms.

Seeing her cry tugged at his heart.

“Kexin, don’t cry. Remember what Daddy said—be strong. I’m just going to handle some things and will be back soon,” he said, comforting her.

“Okay! Kexin will be strong. Daddy, come back soon,” she said, wiping her tears with her tiny hands.

“Good, let’s pinky swear on it,” Lin Yun said, smiling as he extended his pinky.

“Pinky swear!”

Kexin’s innocent smile returned. She hooked her pinky with his, then kissed his cheek and giggled.

Lin Yun finally understood why daughters are called their fathers’ little padded jackets…

The next morning, Lin Yun set out.

Yu Ying, holding Kexin’s hand, saw him off at the gate.

“Daddy, will it be dangerous out there?” Kexin asked, her clear eyes gazing at him, her voice soft and childish.

“Don’t worry, Daddy’s a ninth-stage tribulation realm cultivator—super strong. Kexin, be good and listen to Mommy, okay?” Lin Yun said, smiling.

“Okay, Daddy, come back soon. Kexin will wait and be good.”

Tears shimmered in her big eyes, her voice tinged with a sob. She clearly didn’t want him to go, but this time, she held back her tears.

Seeing her like this, Lin Yun’s eyes stung.

“Ying’er, Kexin’s in your hands. I’m off.”

Lin Yun turned quickly, transforming into a streak of light and flying away.

He feared lingering would make it harder to leave…

For Lin Yun now, venturing out came with an added tether to home, but his life also held new meaning!

Only after having a child could he truly understand this feeling.

After leaving the city, Lin Yun used a teleportation array to head to Yangshan Prefecture to hunt new targets.

Yangshan Prefecture had four targets, and Lin Yun dealt with all of them in just three months.

Then, he moved on to the next prefecture to continue his hunt.

Meanwhile, in the Endless Mountains, inside the Demon Commander’s Palace.

Heavenly Demon Di Yong stood in the hall.

“Demon Commander, based on Lin Yun’s recent actions, we can confirm he’s targeting human cultivators with heavy sins, all at or above the tribulation realm. This is a prime opportunity to deal with him!” Di Yong said.
