Perhaps there would be an opportunity, but for Lin Yun now, ordinary opportunities were useless. He needed to cure the Soul-Breaking Poison!
Mere opportunities to boost strength or acquire treasures were meaningless to him.
Soon, the glow on the stone fully materialized.
“This… it looks like a map!” Lin Yun stared at the stone.
The glowing lines connected, forming a vast map!
A particularly bright spot flickered on the left side, likely the map’s final destination.
There was nothing else but the map.
“This stone was left by Master Withered Silence, so this map must be his doing. But why did he leave it?” Lin Yun pondered, puzzled.
“Master, memorize the map,” the artifact spirit urged.
“Don’t worry, I’ve got it,” Lin Yun said.
Though he didn’t know Master Withered Silence’s intent, Lin Yun was determined to investigate the map’s destination!
After examining the stone and finding nothing else, Lin Yun set off to leave, intent on finding the place indicated on the map.
Without the artifact spirit, this trip might have been fruitless.
After exiting the Land of Exile, the imperial guard deputy commander waited outside.
The map was etched in Lin Yun’s mind, pointing to a location within the Huoyun Empire. So, Lin Yun followed the deputy commander back to the empire.
Upon returning, Lin Yun summoned Little White, his White Ze beast, and rode it toward the map’s destination.
Unable to use internal energy, Lin Yun couldn’t fly or easily pilot a flying vessel, but Little White served as his mount.
Over the past twenty years, Little White had been cultivating, using Lin Yun’s One Thought Clarity Tower, equivalent to a hundred years of training. Lin Yun had spared no resources for it.
After fifteen days of continuous travel…
“This should be it. Little White, stop here.”
Lin Yun looked down.
Below was a massive active volcano.
The surrounding hundred miles were desolate, devoid of life.
“There’s nothing here but a volcano,” Lin Yun said, perched on Little White, scanning the area.
Could the map’s destination be beneath the volcano?
“Little White, let’s go down and check,” Lin Yun said, patting Little White.
“Alright, Master.”
Little White dove, carrying Lin Yun toward the volcano.
Lin Yun wasn’t sure if the map pointed to the volcano’s interior, but since he was here, he had to investigate.
Splash!
Lin Yun plunged into the volcano, diving swiftly through the magma.
Bubbles rose around him.
The magma was scorching, but with Lin Yun’s physical strength, it felt like a warm bath.
“Nothing special here!”
“Keep diving!”
Lin Yun descended, finding nothing unusual.
Three hours later, he reached a great depth.
“Hm? Movement!”
Lin Yun frowned, sensing a creature rapidly approaching!
Looking closely, he saw a massive, crimson python swimming toward him.
“Master, leave it to me!” Little White charged forward.
The python rushed at them, and a fierce battle ensued.
In the magma, the python had an advantage, its strength formidable. Little White struggled to gain the upper hand.
Little White, now capable of overpowering an ordinary Tribulation Realm cultivator, was evenly matched.
“Big Bear, go!”
Lin Yun released the Metal Bear, sending it into the fray.
Though weaker than before, the repaired Metal Bear was still comparable to a Tribulation Realm cultivator!
With the Metal Bear’s help, the python was quickly overwhelmed and slain by Little White and the bear.
Little White swallowed the python’s beast core.
“Master, problem solved.”
Little White and the Metal Bear returned to Lin Yun.
“I didn’t expect such a powerful beast in this magma. This place is indeed unusual. Let’s keep going!” Lin Yun said.
He continued diving.
Half an hour later, Lin Yun noticed the magma below seemed to flow backward, the space around it twisting and warping!
“There’s definitely something here!”
With anticipation, Lin Yun pressed on.
But crossing the warped space proved difficult—he couldn’t break through.
“Again!” Lin Yun surged with power, charging forward and breaking through the distortion.
Beyond it, the magma vanished. He found himself before a twisted black hole.
Boom!
As Lin Yun approached, a terrifying suction force pulled him, Little White, and the Metal Bear in, too fast for any resistance.
When Lin Yun opened his eyes, everything had changed.
He stood in a vast world with a golden sky and golden ground.
“The atmosphere here is filled with desolate energy, comparable to the Land of Exile? Where… where am I?” Lin Yun was stunned.
He could feel the high concentration of desolate energy.
It was abundant, but its destructive and side effects were far less than in the Land of Exile.
“Master, have we stumbled into a special world?” Little White asked, astonished.
Lin Yun might have accidentally entered one of the Three Thousand Small Worlds.
“It’s very likely,” Lin Yun said, gazing into the distance, unable to see the end. This was no micro-space—it was at least a small world.
“Master, it’s not just likely. You’ve definitely entered another world,” the artifact spirit’s voice echoed in his mind.
Hearing this, Lin Yun was even more certain.
“I wonder if there’s life in this world,” Little White said.
“I don’t know, but since it’s at least a small world, we need to stay cautious,” Lin Yun said gravely.
