“Fine, Dragon King, just say what you want,” the South Sea Dragon Palace’s head elder replied.
“Second Elder, you take it from here,” Little Green Dragon said, gesturing.
The West Sea Dragon Palace’s Second Elder nodded quickly and stepped forward.
“South Sea Dragon Palace Head Elder, here’s the matter. Long ago, your palace proposed forming ties with ours. Now, with our new Dragon King, we’re also willing to establish relations with your palace. It’s mutually beneficial, a win-win for both sides,” the Second Elder said with a smile.
“So that’s what this is about. Your West Sea Dragon Palace’s strength is probably quite a bit weaker than ours now, isn’t it? To form ties with us, you don’t seem quite qualified,” the South Sea Dragon Palace’s head elder said arrogantly.
At those words, Little Green Dragon, Lin Yun, and the Second Elder’s expressions darkened.

“Dragon King, calm down. Maybe we should talk again. After all, cooperation with the South Sea Dragon Palace is significant,” the Second Elder urged.
“We came to them willingly, but they showed no sincerity. Going back would just be humiliating ourselves. To hell with it!” Little Green Dragon fumed.
Lin Yun added, “Since they think the West Sea Dragon Palace is weaker, further talks are pointless. We should focus on strengthening ourselves. Only with power can we stand tall before other dragon palaces. Strength is the ultimate truth, that’s how the world works.”
“You’re right, kid. I’m not grovelling to those bastards. My pride won’t let me bow, and don’t mention alliances with them again,” Little Green Dragon said firmly.

As they spoke, the three returned to the West Sea Dragon Palace’s team.

“No rush. Qianlong Abyss is huge, and opportunities often arise. Let’s explore first and head to Qianlong Tower later. The tower isn’t going anywhere, but if another dragon palace finds an opportunity first, it’s gone,” Little Green Dragon said.
“Makes sense. Since there are opportunities, let’s hunt for them first,” Lin Yun said, a hint of anticipation in his voice.
