“West Sea Dragon King, even if we struck first, it was because you ignored our warnings. Don’t you understand that?” the Grand Elder of the East Sea Dragon Palace bellowed.
“Haha, your elder tried to seize resources we discovered, acting like a tyrant. Yet you call it ignoring warnings? You speak so righteously, so confidently, it’s utterly laughable, utterly absurd!” Little Azure Dragon roared with laughter.
His words reached the ears of the other dragon palace members in the tower, but they clearly chose to stay out of it, watching the conflict unfold.

The Grand Elder of the East Sea Dragon Palace glared coldly: “My East Sea Dragon Palace is powerful. No matter who discovers an ore vein, we have the right to claim it! How dare your West Sea Dragon Palace covet it? The law of the jungle, don’t you, West Sea Dragon King, understand this?”
The Grand Elder’s voice thundered with relentless questioning, sharp and commanding.
Though he was only the Grand Elder of the East Sea Dragon Palace, and Little Azure Dragon was a Dragon King, backed by the might of the East Sea Dragon Palace, he had no qualms about berating and interrogating Little Azure Dragon.
His thunderous rebuke caused the West Sea Dragon Palace members to pale slightly.
Lin Yun stepped forward: “Elder, you speak of the law of the jungle, don’t you? We defeated your East Sea Dragon Palace forces, so we rightfully took those resources. That’s the law of the jungle.”
The Grand Elder’s fierce gaze snapped to Lin Yun.
“Human brat, I haven’t even held you accountable yet, and you dare speak up? You’re outrageously bold! You dared to take the essence blood of my East Sea Dragon Palace’s dragon kin, an extreme provocation. You will pay a heavy price!”
Each word from the Grand Elder was razor-sharp.
As he spoke, his powerful aura surged forth, an overwhelming pressure bearing down on Lin Yun.
Little Azure Dragon stepped in front of Lin Yun: “Grand Elder of the East Sea Dragon Palace, what? You want to fight in the Qianlong Tower? Don’t you know what this place is? Does your East Sea Dragon Palace really dare to act so recklessly?”
At that moment, the leading elders of the South Sea Dragon Palace and the North Sea Dragon Palace approached.
“If your two dragon palaces have grievances, settle them outside. Fighting is strictly forbidden in the Qianlong Tower. We hope the Grand Elder of the East Sea Dragon Palace won’t do something to incite public outrage,” they said in unison.
The Qianlong Tower housed the dragon race’s secret manuals and ultimate techniques left by the Dragon Emperor. Fighting here could damage them, a tremendous loss to any dragon palace.
Thus, combat had always been strictly prohibited inside.
“Rest assured, I’m not so foolish as to fight in the Qianlong Tower,” the Grand Elder of the East Sea Dragon Palace said, taking a deep breath.
He then turned to Little Azure Dragon: “West Sea Dragon King, don’t think I’m sparing you out of respect for your title. Hand over all the Ziyao Sea Essences you took from the ore vein, and surrender this human brat. Then, we can call this matter settled.”
“Haha, how absurd! Your East Sea Dragon Palace attacked us first. If anyone should be held accountable, it’s us demanding compensation for mental distress!” Little Azure Dragon laughed loudly.
His words darkened the expressions of the East Sea Dragon Palace members, and the Grand Elder’s face burned with even greater fury.
“Very well, West Sea Dragon King, you’re arrogant enough! Even if we can’t fight in the Qianlong Tower, your West Sea Dragon Palace will pay for this!” the Grand Elder pointed at Little Azure Dragon, his tone thick with menace.
“Anyone can talk tough. You really think my West Sea Dragon Palace is an easy target?” Little Azure Dragon retorted coldly.
He then turned and ordered: “Everyone, disperse and start examining the secret manuals and ultimate techniques here. Ignore them.”
“Yes!”
The West Sea Dragon Palace members responded and scattered.
The furious Grand Elder of the East Sea Dragon Palace waved his hand, signaling his clan to disperse and examine the secret manuals and techniques.
Then, he turned and strode out of the tower, clearly uninterested in browsing the manuals himself.
It made sense; given his age and status, he had likely visited the tower multiple times and had no need to review the manuals again.
“Little Azure Dragon, once we leave the tower, the East Sea Dragon Palace will likely cause trouble. Their Grand Elder’s strength is probably formidable. If it comes to a fight, it’ll be tough to handle,” Lin Yun said seriously.
The elder Little Azure Dragon faced at the ore vein was already at the seven-claw level. Lin Yun speculated the Grand Elder was likely at the eight-claw level, possibly even at its peak, an unimaginably terrifying existence.
