“No need. This guy’s strength exceeds my expectations. I’ll handle him myself!” the Mo Sha leader said slowly.
His gaze then shifted back to Lin Yun.

With a casual wave of his hand, the Mo Sha leader unleashed a beam of light that seemed to pierce the heavens and earth, hurtling towards Lin Yun with terrifying power. Wherever the beam passed, space itself collapsed!
Even those merely watching from afar felt their hearts tremble at the sight of this attack.
“The attack of a Heavenly Demon is truly too powerful. Even a casual strike like this is beyond what Lin Yun can withstand. He’s as good as dead today!” the Fourth Elder of the Tianqiong Clan sighed.
“Haha, excellent! That guy’s finished!”
The Baili Clan elder couldn’t help but cheer aloud at the sight, eagerly anticipating Lin Yun’s demise.

“He’s the disciple of Emperor Huoyun!” a human cultivator below called out.
“The disciple of Emperor Huoyun? No wonder,” the Mo Sha leader muttered.
Then, looking at Lin Yun again, he said, “Unfortunately, that status means nothing to me. Even if Emperor Huoyun cherishes you, he can’t come to the Endless Sea to save you, nor can he come here to avenge you. Your identity holds no deterrence for me.”
“I never expected to use that status to escape. If you have any more tricks, bring them on!” Lin Yun snarled, his face twisted with defiance.
“I’ll give you a way out. Hand over the Frost Heart, your Heavenly Dao-level weapon, and all your resources, then kneel and kowtow to me ten times. Do that, and I’ll spare your life. Having Emperor Huoyun’s disciple bow to me would make for a fine tale in the Endless Sea,” the Mo Sha leader said with a laugh.
“Kneel to a demonic beast? Sorry, that’s impossible. A warrior can be killed, but not humiliated!” Lin Yun replied with a cold smirk.
He knew the Mo Sha leader was trying to use his status as Emperor Huoyun’s disciple to disgrace the human race.
If Lin Yun actually knelt, the news would spread quickly, perhaps even throughout the entire human race.
Then, Emperor Huoyun would know, and everyone would know.
“This is your only chance to live. Are you sure you don’t want it?” the Mo Sha leader asked coldly.
“You’re not worthy of making me kneel,” Lin Yun maintained his icy smile.
The Mo Sha leader’s expression darkened instantly. “You ungrateful fool, then die!”
With those words, he unleashed another attack. A beam far more powerful than the last surged towards Lin Yun with crushing force.
The might of a Heavenly Demon’s attack was overwhelming.
Boom!
With a deafening roar, the golden barrier enveloping Lin Yun finally gave way, shattering completely.
“Pfft!”
Lin Yun spat out a mouthful of blood, his body crashing heavily to the ground.
“Time to end this for good!”
The Mo Sha leader gathered yet another beam, hurling it towards the injured Lin Yun.
“He’s done for!” All the cultivators on the island looked at Lin Yun as if he were already a corpse.
Lin Yun gritted his teeth, his face contorted with rage.
Though he was utterly unwilling, against a Heavenly Demon, he felt only profound helplessness.

Just as the beam was about to reach him, a rift suddenly tore open in the space before Lin Yun.
