“I want to fight you,” Ye Qiu said earnestly. “A serious fight.”
Though Miyamoto Musashi wanted to kill Ye Qiu, he saw a martial artist’s determination in Ye Qiu’s face.

“Fine, I’ll give you a chance to fight. Come at me with everything you’ve got!” Miyamoto Musashi declared.
“Thank you,” Ye Qiu said, stretching his joints and starting frog jumps in place.
Miyamoto Musashi frowned. “What are you doing? Don’t waste time.”
Ye Qiu grinned. “Just warming up to get in peak condition. Otherwise, I might not even last one move against you.”
Fair enough.
Miyamoto Musashi waited quietly.
Three minutes passed.
Growing impatient, Miyamoto Musashi asked, “How much longer?”
“Almost done, give me two more minutes,” Ye Qiu replied. “Mr. Miyamoto, once I’m at my peak, I’ll definitely surprise you.”
Miyamoto Musashi dismissed it.

Ye Qiu glanced back, shocked.

Ye Qiu was a speed-type fighter, but against Miyamoto Musashi, he had no advantage.
Minutes later, Miyamoto Musashi was just over ten meters from Ye Qiu.
Ye Qiu pointed backward.
“Shoo!”
The Six Meridians Divine Sword erupted, its sharp sword qi piercing the air, appearing eerily before Miyamoto Musashi.
“Is this your trump card? Too weak.”
Miyamoto Musashi punched out.
The sword qi shattered.

Ye Qiu quickly drew a lightning talisman and kept fleeing.

Soon after, Miyamoto Musashi caught up again, landing another punch.
Ye Qiu was injured again but ignored it, focused solely on escaping.
The chase went from the city to the suburbs, with Ye Qiu getting injured multiple times, nearly dying on several occasions.
During the escape, Ye Qiu repeatedly used the Six Meridians Divine Sword and lightning talismans, rapidly depleting his inner strength.
Yet his speed didn’t slow.
In his current state, Ye Qiu was like an ordinary person chased by a tiger, running faster than his usual sprint, driven by survival.
Their pursuit lasted nearly forty minutes, and Miyamoto Musashi’s patience was utterly exhausted.

Miyamoto Musashi darted off, quickly locating Ye Qiu.
Ye Qiu used Earth Escape again, fleeing for a while.
“Clang!”
Suddenly, Miyamoto Musashi drew his Heavenly Radiance Flowing Cloud sword and slashed through the air.
“Boom!”
Dust flew.
The sword qi blasted Ye Qiu out of the ground. With a few leaps, he landed twenty meters away.
“Cough, cough…”
Ye Qiu coughed up blood, brushed the dirt off his face and body, and didn’t flee immediately.
“Weren’t you escaping? Why stop?” Miyamoto Musashi sneered at the disheveled Ye Qiu.
“No point in running anymore,” Ye Qiu said.
“Finally, some self-awareness…”
Before Miyamoto Musashi could finish, Ye Qiu cut in, “I’m done running because today, I’m going to do something big.”
Miyamoto Musashi scoffed, “You’re about to die. What big thing could you do?”
Ye Qiu grinned, “Slay a god!”
