Hearing his subordinate’s words, Boss Hua instinctively followed the direction of his pointing finger.
When he saw the gaping hole in the bulletproof glass wall and the black-clad bodyguard lying amidst the shattered glass outside, he was startled himself.
“What the hell happened here?”
“That’s what your so-called ‘ordinary person’ just did, Boss Hua! We’re all too scared to move!”
Seeing the fear and embarrassment on his subordinate’s face, Boss Hua realised he’d run into a tough opponent today.
Boss Hua had become Sister Hua’s personal bodyguard because of his military service and still-decent combat skills.
During his time in the military, he’d seen elite soldiers, but probably only someone of that calibre could pull off something like this.
Logically, Boss Hua should have backed off, but he had his own difficulties and position to consider.
While ordinary bodyguards earned nearly ten thousand a month, his salary was well over a hundred thousand.
To justify that pay, Boss Hua couldn’t retreat, so he continued to glare at Xu Fei assertively.
“Mate, what’s your deal? Don’t you know today is Sister Hua’s return to the country?”
The surrounding crowd gasped at this, some excitedly shouting Sister Hua’s name.
Though only a few, their fervor was undeterred.
“Sister Hua? Never heard of her. All I know is you lot were rude enough to shove my wife. I’m just here for justice.”
“Or do you want to have a go with me too?”
Xu Fei had no idea who this so-called Sister Hua was, nor did he care to find out.
Every second spent talking to this guy felt like a waste of time, making Xu Fei visibly impatient.
Boss Hua knew he was no match for Xu Fei, but he couldn’t afford to lose face.
“You’re out of line. Everyone knows Sister Hua is an internationally famous star. You blocked her way today, so you owe her an apology!”
Xu Fei let out a cold scoff, crossing his arms as he looked at Boss Hua.
“You want me to apologise to her? Fine, bring her out!”
After all this back-and-forth, Xu Fei’s temper flared, prompting his sharp response.
But Boss Hua misinterpreted this, thinking Xu Fei was intimidated by Sister Hua’s reputation and had caved.
“Hmph! Smart move, kid. Wait here, I’ll go fetch Sister Hua right now!”
Boss Hua turned and scurried off to bring Sister Hua out to accept Xu Fei’s apology, but before he’d taken a few steps, a black-clad bodyguard suddenly shouted.
“Boss Hua, look! Sister Hua’s been kidnapped!”
Boss Hua glanced to his left and saw a woman being gagged and dragged away, moments from exiting the airport hall.
He was frantic, but the kidnappers were just ten steps from the exit, while he was hundreds of steps away.
Even if he had a rocket strapped to him, he’d never catch up!
Just as Boss Hua sank into despair, an unexpected figure shot forward at unimaginable speed.
When the black-clad bodyguard had shouted, Xu Fei had also noticed the situation.
