“Cousin, you were gone so long last night without telling me! You’ve no idea how annoying that Qian Jiahang was, I was scared to death!”
As Bai Feng spoke, she kept acting coy with Xu Fei, nearly startling him out of his wits.
“What’s with this girl? Is she really trying to make me slip up?”
But before Xu Fei could respond, Kawashima Miki, standing nearby, immediately jumped in.
“What? You were with Qian Jiahang last night? You’d better believe that guy’s no good!”
What followed was bizarre. The two girls, who should’ve been at odds, ended up chatting animatedly about their shared disdain for Qian Jiahang.
Xu Fei, meanwhile, became an outsider, constantly at the beck and call of the two beauties, peeling apples and pouring tea without a moment’s rest.
Finally, Xu Fei pieced it together. Qian Jiahang was genuinely wealthy at school, but it was equally true that most people couldn’t stand him.
The guy thought his money could fix anything and had likely pursued Kawashima Miki, who was stunningly beautiful.

With that, Kawashima Miki calmly said goodbye to Xu Fei and Bai Feng, then went downstairs and drove off in her red Ferrari.
Xu Fei and Bai Feng stood on the balcony, watching her car disappear. Bai Feng then turned to Xu Fei with a huff.
“She’s gone, and you’re still waving at her! Come on, spill it, what’s going on with you and that Kawashima Miki?”
Xu Fei hadn’t planned to hide anything, especially since he hadn’t done anything wrong.
So, he pulled Bai Feng back to the living room, sat her down on the sofa, and told her everything that happened the previous day in full detail.
After he finished, Bai Feng nodded thoughtfully.
“So that’s how it is. I guess I misunderstood you before. I thought…”
Bai Feng trailed off, but her face was filled with guilt.
