Hidden Dragon Heir Chapter 47 - LiddRead

Hidden Dragon Heir Chapter 47

Li Feng glanced at the woman, hesitating. This was clearly a vendetta, and he had no desire to get involved without reason.

At that moment, the two men charged forward. Seeing Li Feng, a cold glint flashed in one man’s eyes, “Kill him, leave no one.”

Damn it!

Li Feng cursed inwardly. He hadn’t wanted trouble, but these men wouldn’t even spare him. If that was the case, there was no point holding back.

With that thought, Li Feng leapt into action, his left fist swinging, transforming into a flurry of punches, striking at one of the men like lightning.

The man was shocked.

Only now did he realise this “ant” dared to fight back, and his anger surged.

“Damn it!” the man cursed, throwing a hasty punch to counter.

Boom…

The man was sent flying nearly ten metres, his clothes torn, looking utterly dishevelled.

Without pausing, Li Feng turned his palm into a blade, slashing at the other man like lightning.

“Damn it!” the second man exclaimed, stunned by the sudden turn. He hadn’t expected a random passerby to have such skill. He even suspected Li Feng might be a planned ally of the woman.

No time for thoughts, the man swung his steel blade, swift and sharp as lightning.

Li Feng snorted coldly, undeterred, his hand-blade aiming for the man’s chest while his left hand flicked, a silver flash darting out.

A scream rang out. The man’s wrist was severed, his blade dropping. Li Feng closed in, his hand-blade striking again.

Another scream, accompanied by the sound of breaking bones. The man’s chest caved in, as if hit by a heavy blow. With Li Feng’s 1,400-kilogram strength, few could withstand it.

Thud!

The man collapsed heavily, unable to rise.

“A bunch of trash,” Li Feng sneered dismissively. The men were too weak; even Tianlang could have handled them easily.

Looking at the fallen men, Li Feng’s eyes glinted with menace. He picked up the dropped dagger, wiped it with a tissue, and approached them step by step.

“What do you want? Do you know who we are?” one man asked weakly, lifting his head, his gaze cold.

“I don’t care who you are,” Li Feng replied with a cold smile. Where did their arrogance come from, threatening him even now? Were people in this era really so foolish?

“Kid, you’re helping that woman, you’re done for,” the man glared venomously, still haughty.

Li Feng laughed, looking at him like an idiot, “I’m done for? You sure?” A savage chill flickered in his eyes.

Sensing Li Feng’s killing intent, the man’s expression changed, “You want to kill me?”

“Congrats, you got it right,” Li Feng’s lips curled.

“You’d better think twice. Kill me, and you’ll regret it. Not just you, your family, your friends, none of them will escape,” the man said, panicking. He’d never imagined Li Feng would actually kill him. His status had always protected him; he believed no one dared touch him.

“Funny, you were ready to kill me just now, even when I wasn’t involved. If you’re prepared to kill, you should be ready to be killed,” Li Feng said coldly.

Damn it!

The man’s face shifted, clearly sensing Li Feng’s genuine intent. He didn’t doubt Li Feng meant it.

If he’d known, he wouldn’t have provoked him. No, he couldn’t die—not when he hadn’t enjoyed life enough, hadn’t had his fill of women.

“It was a misunderstanding earlier. Killing you wasn’t my idea, it was my partner’s,” he said, betraying his companion to save himself.

“Hmph, you’re done today,” Li Feng sneered. He believed in eliminating threats completely; he wasn’t about to leave them alive to seek revenge later.

“You can’t—”

The man’s words were cut off as Li Feng slit his throat.

Li Feng repeated the process, killing the other unconscious man, then dragged their bodies into the woods.

Five minutes later, he emerged, scooped up the long-haired woman, and headed to his car.

“Lucky you,” he muttered, glancing at her exquisite face, feeling a surge of desire. She was stunning, and now unconscious, entirely at his mercy.

Should he? Should he?

Li Feng was a hot-blooded man. In his past life, he’d sought women to unwind after missions. Over a month in this world, he hadn’t touched one. Holding her, inhaling her Chanel scent, his throat felt dry, like it was burning, and she was the sweet relief.

Gulp, gulp.

Li Feng swallowed hard, his hand reaching for the enticing curves, tempting him to cross the line.

Then he felt something sticky—blood.

Damn it!

No matter how tempting, Li Feng wouldn’t act while she was bleeding. He had no such perverse tastes.

“Lucky you, but you owe me big time,” he muttered, sealing her acupoints to stop the bleeding.

Checking her wounds, Li Feng shook his head. Her injuries were severe, some older than today’s. Without immediate treatment, she could die.

“Might as well finish what I started,” he sighed bitterly. All he’d wanted was to relieve himself, and now he was in deep trouble. If she weren’t so beautiful, he wouldn’t have bothered.

Placing her in the backseat, Li Feng hesitated. Where to take her? A hospital was the obvious choice, but she was clearly being hunted. He didn’t know her identity, and taking her there could expose him, causing more trouble.

His villa? He shook his head. Hu Yuanyuan and the servants were there—too many loose lips. Plus, if he brought her home, Hu Yuanyuan might get jealous. Though he wasn’t one to give up a forest for a single blade of grass, women’s battles were fiercer than the fight he’d just witnessed, and he didn’t want to deal with their jealousy.

A hotel? That would risk exposing her identity, leading to endless trouble—something he wanted to avoid.

“You got off easy,” he said, closing the car door and turning back.

After much thought, the training base was the safest place, with no outsiders to expose her.

Driving into the base, Li Feng carried her to the rest room.

He moved quickly, unaware his hand was pressing on a soft, raised curve. Opening the rest room door, he placed her on the cot. Looking at her, his heart raced again as her faint, feminine scent hit him.

A soft cry sounded, and his hand was sharply slapped away.

Li Feng snapped out of it, looking up to see her furious, beautiful face glaring at him, her eyes blazing.

Startled that she’d woken, and seeing the crumpled marks on her chest, he knew what he’d done.

Instead of apologising like most would, he calmly said, “You’re awake?”

Feng Ling’er’s face flushed, her teeth biting her lip, eyes burning with anger. She’d never been touched like that by a man. Trying to sit up to confront him, she gasped in pain as her wounds were tugged.

Li Feng glanced at the bandage he’d applied, now soaked with blood. She needed treatment urgently.

He hurried to get medicine, thankful he’d stocked the warehouse for Black Hawk’s training.

Returning, his gaze fell on Feng Ling’er’s wound, and his heart skipped. Her movement had loosened her shirt, revealing a deep neckline. His pulse quickened.

Feng Ling’er blushed, avoiding his gaze.

Taking a deep breath, Li Feng tore off her sleeve, exposing smooth, fair skin and a long, bloody gash on her shoulder. The wound was severe.

Lifting her arm, he sprinkled top-grade Yunnan Baiyao on the wound, its potent effect quickly clotting the blood.

Relieved, he bandaged her wound with gauze.

Feng Ling’er’s lips moved as she said softly, “Thank you for saving me.”

Li Feng chuckled, “No big deal. But why were those two after you?”

Her expression changed. She glanced at him, “Sorry, I can’t tell you. Knowing would only bring you trouble.”

“Trouble for me?” Li Feng shrugged, glancing at her with a wry smile, “You think saving you hasn’t already brought me trouble?”

“I…” Feng Ling’er was speechless. Yes, saving her would likely make him a target, but she couldn’t reveal certain things.

“Fine, I won’t push. Your wounds will take days to heal. Stay here; no one will find you,” Li Feng said, standing to leave.

“Thank you, I’ll repay you,” Feng Ling’er said.

“No need,” Li Feng shook his head, thinking to himself, *I don’t need repayment. I’d rather you offer yourself.*
