The remains of the slain monkey demons were buried around the ancient peach tree.

When the demons of Black Wind Mountain heard their king had returned, they flocked to the mountain peak to watch the excitement.
They had heard the king went to recruit soldiers and were curious about how many demon cultivators he brought back.

Feeling guilty, he confronted White Elephant, only to be reported to Spring Pool Cave.
Though Mo Fan had not yet returned, he had left White Yaoyao in charge of Black Wind Mountain’s affairs.
Upon learning the full story, White Yaoyao not only spared White Elephant punishment but held a high-level meeting, praising White Elephant and punishing Red Eye with a beating, accusing him of ignoring facts and engaging in cronyism.

Thus, hearing of the king’s return sparked such excitement.

Secondly, they were curious about how the king would deal with that beautiful snake.
After all, every demon in Black Wind Mountain knew that Dali and Red Eye were Toad King’s trusted confidants.
