“Kill him!” Without waiting for her order, the Black Hawk squad members and Eagle Eye sharpshooters behind her charged forward and hacked the assassin into pieces.
“Young Master.” Zhong Shuhui and the others hurried to Li Feng’s side.
Li Feng lay on the ground, covered in blood.
“Young Master, Young Master!” Hu Yuanyuan, Zhong Shuhui, and the others gathered around him, checking his condition.
“Cough… I’m not… dead yet,” Li Feng said with difficulty. At the final moment he had raised a full-body gangqi shield, but it had shattered in less than a second. If he had not cultivated the Xuantian Body Forging Technique to the first-stage Iron Body realm, he would certainly have died today.

“Let’s go,” Blood Shadow said coldly. Tonight he had planned everything perfectly, only to lose both his troops and his objective. If he had not just received word that government police were mobilising, he might have attacked Li Feng personally.
Still, the night had not been a complete loss. At least he now understood Li Feng’s true strength. Next time he moved to kill Li Feng, his chances would be far higher.
Casting a final icy glance in the direction Li Feng had left, murderous intent flashed in Blood Shadow’s eyes. “Li Feng, the next time we meet, I will take your head myself. And that day will come very soon.”
Five minutes earlier, at the suburban training base.
“Assemble!”
A shrill alarm rang out. Black Hawk squad members poured from their dormitories.
“Tian Lang, what’s happening?” Ge Feng asked gravely as he reached Tian Lang’s side.
“Instructor Ge, Tianya Pavilion is under attack. We’re heading there now to reinforce them,” Tian Lang replied quickly. Ge Feng was a powerhouse, and over the past period Tian Lang had come to deeply respect him.
“Reinforce Tianya Pavilion? Li Feng isn’t there?” Ge Feng asked, surprised. With Li Feng’s strength, if he were present, the Black Hawk squad would not be needed.
“I believe not,” Tian Lang nodded. Li Feng alone surpassed the entire Black Hawk squad, so Tian Lang shared Ge Feng’s thinking.
“I’m coming with you,” Ge Feng said solemnly.
“Good.” Tian Lang did not refuse. Ge Feng’s strength meant one more powerful ally.
“I’m coming too,” Ge Ying stepped forward, having overheard them.
“No. The training base still needs someone to hold it. Ge Ying, you stay here,” Ge Feng said immediately.
“But…”
“No buts. It’s decided. Ge Ying, what if this is a diversion and the enemy attacks the base? You must remain. If you leave, who will protect this place?” Ge Feng stated firmly.
Without waiting for her reply, he boarded a vehicle with Tian Lang and the others and left the base.
Three squads of Black Hawk members, together with Ge Feng, departed in a large truck, heading towards the city centre.
Three minutes later, when the truck was less than a kilometre from the city, two large coaches suddenly appeared ahead, blocking the road.
“What’s going on?” Tian Lang’s expression darkened.
At that moment, a large group of black-clothed men poured from the coaches, wielding machetes and advancing towards them with murderous intent.
“It seems they’ve come specifically for us,” Tian Lang said, his voice ice-cold.
