When the Elf King fell straight off the high platform and fainted, everyone present was utterly bewildered. The impression elves always gave was of agile, graceful bodies, exquisitely beautiful appearances, and an extraordinary, transcendent aura. Even Kuba, the elf with a scarred face, had a unique, alternative kind of cool demeanour. Yet the Elf King was a fat man weighing five or six hundred jin. After falling from the platform, he fainted outright. Who would believe that if told?
Kuba, Biqiya, and several other elves who had arrived first quickly leapt down from the platform. They called out the Elf King’s name in alarm while trying to help him up. However, an embarrassing thing happened. The four elves who had teleported over first could not lift the Elf King!
Elves were inherently an agility-based race, not strong in physical power. With their strength sealed, their stamina was especially poor. Kuba wiped the sweat from his forehead, turned to Ye Chui, and said, “Er… could you come over and lend a hand…”
Ye Chui: “…”
After a brief pause, Ye Chui quickly called Guni and Shaleme, the two girls, to help. Everyone worked together, with Ye Chui shouting slogans beside them. Only then did they manage to lift the Elf King and place him in front of a nearby stone platform, letting him lean against it to sit. After finishing this, everyone was wiping sweat from exhaustion. The surrounding onlookers were completely silent.
Originally, to welcome the Elf King, Ye Chui had made it especially grand, like a meeting between leaders of two nations. Yet the other side had just appeared and immediately tumbled to the ground. The feeling was as awkward as it could possibly be.
“Elf King? Elf King?” Kuba stayed by the Elf King’s side, calling his name with a face full of worry.
The other elves arriving one after another also gathered around, their faces showing worry, along with some embarrassment and some anger.
Ye Chui felt a headache coming on. This situation could accidentally spark a world conflict…
He retreated outside, worry unavoidably appearing on his face. He only hoped the Elf King would be unharmed. At the same time, he muttered under his breath, “How did this Elf King get so fat? Baby stuffs herself with food and drink every day but never gains weight…”
“Ye Chui, I feel something is off.” Celty, held in Xiles’s arms, suddenly said in a low voice to Ye Chui.
Ye Chui turned to look at this big sister. “Yes, I feel it too. The Elf King is way too fat… Don’t they eat vegetarian?”
“No, although rare, that’s not impossible. The elf race has existed for hundreds of thousands of years. There are always a few eccentric ones who can eat themselves into obesity. The off part I’m talking about isn’t that.” Celty shook her head.
“Then what do you mean?” Ye Chui realised Celty might have discovered something special.
“This Elf King… seems to be a blood elf.” Celty replied, her eyes still straining to glance toward the Elf King.
“Blood elf?” Debbie and Green nearby both showed surprised expressions. Debbie asked, “What is a blood elf? Does such a race exist?”
“Blood elves are a type of elf, fallen elves. They went extinct in the era of the gods, existing only in ancient times. The most obvious trait of blood elves is blood eyes. When tempted by blood, their eyes turn red.” Celty explained.
Ye Chui was stunned and quickly examined the Elf King’s eyes carefully. Under the calls from Kuba and others, the Elf King had already opened his eyes, though his consciousness was still hazy. Ye Chui indeed noticed faint traces of red in his eyes, though not very obvious.
Green said puzzledly, “Red means blood elf? Why do I feel the red in his eyes is just bloodshot from the fall?”
“Elves are different from humans. Their eyes don’t get bloodshot like humans do. There’s only one possibility for red to appear in their eyes, and that’s the blood elf inheritance.” Celty said with certainty. “Blood elves are an extremely evil fallen race. They feed on the blood of other races and devour life force. In ancient times, they caused the extinction of countless races. After the Magic Emperor established the human dynasty, he hunted them to extermination. But this Elf King somehow obtained the blood elf inheritance. He is definitely a dangerous fellow.”
“Dangerous, huh…” Ye Chui looked at the blood elf with obese limbs, who seemed unable even to stand on his own. He really could not associate him with terrifying fallen elves. However, he knew Celty’s words would not be without reason. So he quietly signalled to Cass and Lesha to be on guard and prepare for any unexpected incidents.
Cass heard Ye Chui’s instructions, nodded, and was about to say something when a deeply shocked expression suddenly appeared on his face. He looked up at the sky. “Bad news. Someone is trying to invade this world!”
Although Ye Chui was the de facto leader of the Stan World, Cass was the true ruler here. He could sense any movement invading this world.
The moment after Cass spoke, Ye Chui also sensed a spatial fluctuation from outside. Another world was trying to forcibly build a bridge and open a pathway to the Stan World.
“Teacher Merlin!” Ye Chui quickly looked at Old Merlin standing not far away.
Old Merlin’s talent in spatial magic far surpassed even Ye Chui’s. After receiving Celty’s teaching of dragon language, he had advanced greatly in spatial magic and had now become a senior bridge builder. Hearing Ye Chui’s call, he said urgently, “The intruder is very powerful. That bridge-building force is extremely thick… I, I cannot stop it!”
As soon as he finished speaking, a beam of light suddenly tore through the grey sky and descended from above. Several people directly under the light bead let out panicked screams and painfully rushed aside. Under their feet, magic runes began to emerge one by one. It was a teleportation array, extremely large with a diameter exceeding ten metres. Half of it landed on nearby houses, which collapsed with a boom, destroyed by the array.
“The intruder is very powerful, far more terrifying than the invasion from Windless City. I simply cannot stop it!” Old Merlin shouted in shock.
At the same time, a dragon roar sounded in the air. Dragon Baby, transformed into a giant dragon, happened to be soaring past. It had unlocked power by devouring countless high-level magic scrolls, maintaining its giant dragon form. Originally, it was Ye Chui’s specially prepared fireworks mascot for spectacle. But the suddenly descending light pillar startled it. The teleportation pillar appeared almost grazing its body. As it tried to shift away, one wing involuntarily merged into the light pillar. Immediately after, powerful teleportation force descended upon it!
“Roar——” Dragon Baby let out a resounding cry. Its enormous body was forcibly torn into the teleportation light pillar.
The bridge teleportation was bidirectional. From the other side, one could be sent here. Entering from here would instantly send one to the other side.
In mid-air, the massive Dragon Baby was thus instantly teleported away and vanished without a trace.
“Dragon Baby!?” Ye Chui’s face showed shock. Then he quickly said to Lesha, “This invading world absolutely cannot be a fragment world like Windless City. Hurry and mobilise all the Orc puppets. Send them through the bridge to assist Dragon Baby!”
“Okay, big brother!” Lesha quickly began directing the Orc puppets lurking around to move.
However, just as the Orc puppets were about to mobilise, the teleportation light pillar in the sky suddenly vanished.
…
Ox Plain World.
Countless orc warriors were poised and ready. They surrounded the fire dragon sculpture, shouting loudly, waiting to enter the bridge, invade the other world, and engage in a bloody battle.
The ancient dance performed by the orc high priest was not merely a prayer dance. It was a war dance with wondrous effects.
The current orc race no longer knew how to commune with nature spirits, but the war dances passed down from ancient times could still briefly connect them to the power of natural magic elements. The war dance the high priest was performing could commune with spatial magic elements.
Through this war dance, he could open a bridge.
As he danced, the surrounding orc warriors roared and shouted continuously. This was not entirely useless. Their shouts increased the power of the war dance, making it stronger.
The high priest had opened the spatial bridge through the war dance. That powerful bridge-building force was something Old Merlin could not block at all!
Mad Bear Yagan saw the light pillar appear above the fire dragon altar and knew the teleportation bridge had opened. He swung his battle axe, stepped forward, preparing to charge in first. At the same time, he inwardly sneered, “War dance is war dance. Why insist on building an altar to worship the God of All Beasts? Truly ignorant and useless… When I get the chance, I must learn all the orc war dances.”
With such thoughts, Mad Bear Yagan was about to step into the soaring light pillar.
However, at that moment, a boom sounded. A black colossal shadow crashed down from the light pillar. The enormous body directly smashed the fire dragon sculpture to pieces. The originally coiled body stretched out. Bang. A terrifying huge dragon head smashed down right in front of Mad Bear Yagan.
Dragon Baby had been unexpectedly teleported here!
Because of its appearance, it directly interrupted the high priest’s prayer dance. The teleportation light pillar vanished accordingly.
Mad Bear Yagan instinctively raised his battle axe in an attacking posture. But then he saw what had crashed before him. The huge dragon head faced him directly. Dragon breath sprayed continuously from its nostrils. Rows of fearsome fangs protruded from its mouth. Terrifying majesty swept over. Just seeing the dragon head’s appearance made Mad Bear Yagan feel in an instant as if all his strength had been drained, freezing him in place.
The orcs were also frightened to varying degrees. The aged orc priest was nearly crushed directly by Dragon Baby’s enormous wing. He fell to the ground, scrambled up awkwardly, and examined the terrifying giant dragon before him.
Soon he recognised what this giant dragon was. Those black-and-gold scales, that ferocious and domineering appearance. In this world, only one dragon looked like this.
Thud. The aged orc priest knelt before the giant dragon. In that instant, he seemed like a child who had left home finally returning. Tears streamed down his green, wrinkled face.
“God of All Beasts… you have finally heard our call!” he cried.
“God of All Beasts!” Many orcs also recognised the God of All Beasts. Their expressions turned from surprise to excitement. In a whooshing sound, a large number knelt down.
Mad Bear Yagan, holding his battle axe and frozen there: “…The God of All Beasts… was actually summoned for real?”
Immediately after, Mad Bear Yagan realised something. This bridge connected to the Stan World. This strange giant dragon had been teleported from the Stan World. He did not believe the God of All Beasts had descended in response to the orcs’ calls. Was this bizarre giant dragon Ye Chui’s trick?
Ye Chui knew the Ox Plain World was about to invade the Stan World and knew the orcs worshipped the God of All Beasts. So he created this thing resembling the God of All Beasts to fool the orc race and stabilise them?
Mad Bear Yagan instantly thought he had figured out the truth (or so he believed). A cold smirk appeared on his face. He stepped back a few paces, looked at the colossal creature before him, and shouted, “False thing. Giant dragon? Giant dragons went extinct long ago. You cannot be real!”
With this shout, his body suddenly swelled larger. His fur seemed to grow several times thicker. At a glance, he truly resembled a savage black bear. This was Mad Bear Yagan’s berserk state from his half-orc bloodline. At this moment, he possessed the physique of an orc, yet his combat skills were no less than human wisdom. He raised his battle axe high, leapt up, and with full force, bang, the axe instantly struck the giant dragon’s nose.
Clang——
Like metal striking stone, sparks flew.
“Roar roar——” Dragon Baby had fainted after being teleported. At this moment, its nose attacked, it felt like someone pricking it with a needle. It cried out and woke up, roaring madly.
Overwhelming dragon breath instantly descended on Mad Bear Yagan, sending him flying uncontrollably. His battle axe flew from his hand. Wherever the dragon breath passed, orc warriors fell in swathes.
“Who hit me!? It hurts, it hurts…” Dragon Baby stood its enormous body upright. Its two front claws instinctively tried to rub its nose, but its limbs were relatively short. Though it strained its head down forcefully, it still could not reach the nose area. The movement looked somewhat comical for a moment.
And at that moment, Dragon Baby saw the orcs kneeling on the ground.
The orcs were fearfully prostrating themselves, shouting loudly, begging the God of All Beasts not to be angry.
“What is this situation…” At this moment, Dragon Baby was utterly bewildered.
