The elder roared and lunged towards Lin Ge.
He had never expected another expert to appear so suddenly. Judging by the aura, this one was no weaker than himself. Even he might not be a match for such a person, let alone Zhao Xingping.
Zhao Xingping had grown up under his watchful eye. He would never allow harm to come to him. Moreover, with Zhao Xiu already dead, the Zhao family needed Zhao Xingping to revive its fortunes.
“Old fellow, your opponent is me.” Lu Shuang sneered and blocked the elder’s path.

Fortunately, the elder did not press the attack. After repelling Lu Shuang with one strike, he charged towards Lin Ge.
Lin Ge glanced at the oncoming elder, sneered, and punched towards Zhao Xingping.

Even though Zhao Xingping was prepared, his strength was no match for the blow. A large hole was blasted through his chest. He was dead beyond any doubt.
“Young Master.” Seeing Lin Ge kill Zhao Xingping, the elder let out a grief-stricken howl.
“I will kill you.” His gaze fixed on Lin Ge, cold killing intent flickering.
“Kill me? With your ability? Block one of my punches first.” Lin Ge sneered, murderous intent in his eyes as he punched straight at the elder.

Blue fist gang qi carrying icy chill shot forth like lightning. The friction instantly froze the surrounding air.
“Hmph.”
The elder snorted coldly. Red light erupted from his body, forming a massive flaming fist gang qi that howled forward.

Lin Ge cultivated ice-based techniques, while the elder cultivated fire-based ones. The two utterly opposing forces met in mid-air, producing a deafening explosion. Intense red and blue light burst forth, filling the entire sky.

The tremendous impact caused the asphalt road beneath their feet to crack.
Lin Ge looked at the elder and narrowed his eyes. “You managed to block one punch. Not bad.”
“Hmph. You killed my young master. Today you will undoubtedly die.” The elder stared coldly at Lin Ge, a powerful aura erupting from him.
At the same time, the elder grew wary. Had he known such an expert existed, he would never have agreed to let Zhao Xingping pursue Li Feng. Now Li Feng remained unharmed, while Zhao Xingping had been killed by his men.
Lin Ge was originally at Innate Realm third layer. Even though his current strength was only Acquired Realm ninth layer peak, the elder’s aura had no effect on him. He merely regarded the elder coldly. “Do you think you have the strength to kill me? Your master is dead now. I suggest you surrender. Perhaps I will spare your life.”

“What if I join in?” Lu Shuang flashed behind the elder. With Lin Ge’s arrival, he no longer harboured any worry.
“Lu Shuang, you need not interfere with this old fellow. Leave those rabble to you.” Lin Ge glanced at Lu Shuang.
“Lin Ge, this old fellow is my opponent.” Lu Shuang said coldly. Having been injured by the elder, he wanted only to kill him for revenge.
“Lu Shuang, you have already killed enough today. Moreover, you are wounded. You are probably no longer a match for this old bastard. Better to leave him to me.” Lin Ge said coldly.
“Hmph, Lin Ge, what do you mean? Do you think I cannot kill him?” Lu Shuang’s expression changed.
“Lu Shuang, if this old fellow escapes, do you think you can withstand the master’s wrath? If you are angry, vent it on that rabble. This old fellow is mine.” Lin Ge said coldly.
“You…” Lu Shuang’s face shifted, but he dared not refute. If the elder truly escaped, he could not bear Li Feng’s anger.
Hearing Lu Shuang and Lin Ge’s words, the elder’s face grew grim. He was an Acquired Realm ninth layer ancient martial artist, a true expert, yet now the two were discussing who would kill him. How could he endure such humiliation?

Explosions rang out. The red palm gang qi vanished instantly. The elder grunted, spat blood, and collapsed to the ground.
Lin Ge flashed to his side, sealed several major acupoints, and lifted him up.
“If you have the ability, kill me.” The elder glared at Lin Ge in disbelief. He knew he was no match, but he had never imagined being captured alive. For him, this was utter humiliation.
“Kill you? No, I no longer wish to kill you now. I will hand you over to my master for disposal.” Lin Ge smiled and shook his head.
“Who is your master?” the elder asked.
“Li Feng.” Lin Ge said calmly.
“Impossible…” The elder’s face was full of disbelief. Lin Ge was so powerful that even Li Feng could hardly surpass him. How could he acknowledge Li Feng as master? The elder felt his worldview crumbling.
“There is nothing impossible in this world.” Lin Ge ignored him after that. He looked at Lu Shuang. “Lu Shuang, do you need help with that rabble?”
“No.” Lu Shuang said coldly. Lin Ge capturing the elder alive had greatly stung him. If he could not even deal with the remaining rabble, would that not make him appear even more incompetent?
“All of you can die.” Lu Shuang vented his fury on Zhao Xingping’s subordinates. He flashed forward like a tiger among sheep, unleashing a one-sided massacre.
Time rewound five minutes. Just as Li Feng entered the intersection of Binhe Road and Hanjiang Road, Zhu Yuanyuan paced anxiously in her room. Fu Yanxiong’s men had not stopped Li Feng. Now he had broken through. Though Blood Shadow was pursuing from behind, Zhu Yuanyuan felt something was wrong.

“His trail has simply been lost.” the young man replied.
“What about Li Feng?” Zhu Yuanyuan asked gravely.
“Li Feng has just entered the intersection of Binhe Road and Hanjiang Road. However, his subordinate has turned back to snipe those pursuing him. According to family intelligence, those pursuers are from the Zhao family, one of Tianhai City’s four great families.” the young man answered.
“Li Feng’s subordinate turned back to kill the Zhao family men, yet Blood Shadow did not kill him and instead vanished?” Zhu Yuanyuan said solemnly.
“Yes.” the young man nodded.
“Damn it. How can this be?” Zhu Yuanyuan’s face shifted. Though she did not know what had happened, she knew events had taken an unexpected turn.
“Is Zhu Shao’s rocket launcher ready?” Zhu Yuanyuan asked gravely.
“Zhu Shao sent word earlier that it is prepared. By my calculation, it should be firing about now.” the young man replied.
“Good. I want to see whether Li Feng can withstand the rocket bombardment.” Cold killing intent flashed in Zhu Yuanyuan’s eyes.

As soon as she spoke, earth-shaking explosions came from the intersection of Binhe Road and Hanjiang Road.
