Abyss Sovereign Chapter 217

Boom! Boom! Boom!

As Lin Xiao’s words fell, dazzling bursts of light erupted in an instant. Terrifying gusts of fist winds and sword beams surged outward in all directions.

“Pfft!” “Pfft!” “Pfft!”

Figures were flung back, spitting blood. Some Heavenly Martial fighters managed to shield themselves, enduring a blow, but in the next moment, Heaven Gate’s fifty-plus members charged forward, engaging the thirty-odd bandits in close combat.

The fight was utterly one-sided.

“Hmph, want to keep me here? Not so easy!” The middle-aged leader’s face twisted ferociously as he darted back in a swift retreat.

“Trying to escape? Not that simple!” Lin Xiao stepped forward, his body flashing like lightning as he barrelled toward the man.

In a blink, Lin Xiao closed in. His fist shot out, its terrifying force seeming to shatter the very air, unleashing a piercing sonic boom. A fearsome ripple spread through the surrounding space.

Sensing the monstrous power bearing down from behind, the middle-aged man’s expression shifted dramatically. He spun around, summoning all his ninth-level Heavenly Martial strength, and thrust out a palm to block.

Boom!

A thunderous clash rang out. A massive wave of force exploded between fist and palm, hurling the man back dozens of yards.

“Such terrifying power!” The man’s face paled, his insides churning. In this region, his ninth-level Heavenly Martial strength was no small feat, yet a casual punch from this eighth-level youth nearly injured him.

“Not bad, but you’re still not getting away!” A cold smirk curled Lin Xiao’s lips. He lunged again, the vast sea of power in his dantian surging forth. As he clenched his fist, the air around it seemed to boil and twist chaotically.

“Reverse Chaos, Second Form!” Lin Xiao’s punch roared out. Brilliant streams of reverse chaos vital energy burst forth, converging into a thin, pillar-like beam that streaked through the air, as if piercing space itself, the atmosphere boiling in its wake.

“Xuanmie Yin Palm!” The man’s face darkened. He unleashed his strongest technique, pouring his life’s power into it. Both palms shoved forward, unleashing waves of chilling wind to meet the attack.

“Bang!” “Bang!” “Bang!” …

The palm winds shattered one after another. The unstoppable pillar of reverse chaos energy smashed through every barrier, hurtling toward the man.

Horror flashed across his face. Too late to counter, he could only muster his strongest protective vital energy to shield himself.

Boom!

The shield crumbled. The man took a heavy hit, blood spraying from his mouth as he was flung far back.

“Here’s one more for you!” Lin Xiao sneered, clenching his fist again. A wild aura radiated out, his fist brimming with ferocious intent.

Boom!

He swung, and an overwhelming force erupted ahead of his fist. A boiling pillar of reverse chaos energy tore through the sky, slamming into the man.

Already battered, the man could barely muster a fraction of his strength. He thrust out both palms weakly, sending out a wave of palm winds.

But if his strongest strike couldn’t stop Lin Xiao, this feeble attempt stood no chance against a blow infused with wild martial intent.

“Bang!” With a deafening blast, the man’s body was sent flying, blood gushing from his chest.

Terror lingered on his face as his chest was riddled with countless tiny holes. His life faded, and he slumped to the ground, dead.

“Crackle!” A surge of energy flowed into Lin Xiao’s white bracelet, marking it with a hundred black dots.

Earning a hundred points so easily, Lin Xiao’s lips curved into a faint, cold smile. The thousand-point requirement wasn’t too tough for him.

He felt no pity for the dead man. In this game, robbers got robbed, killers got killed. If their strength had faltered today, they’d be the ones in trouble.

The Chaos Lands were a food chain—big fish ate little fish, little fish ate shrimp. Wiping out a bandit crew was par for the course.

Glancing at the corpse, Lin Xiao plucked the man’s storage ring. The other bandits weren’t worth his effort—Heaven Gate’s disciples could handle them—and he didn’t rush to join in.

Amid the surrounding chaos, Lin Xiao stood calmly, channeling vital energy to probe the storage ring and open it.

“A Martial King essence pill? Hundreds of spirit cores?” His eyes lit up at the contents.

“Bandits really do rake it in!” A grin spread across Lin Xiao’s face. A Martial King essence pill alone was worth a fortune.

Plus, there were two hundred third-tier low-level spirit cores and eight third-tier mid-level ones. At a one-to-five exchange rate per tier, just two more mid-level cores would total enough to trade for another Martial King essence pill.

In other words, this one man had wealth equivalent to nearly two Martial King essence pills.

No wonder so many turned to banditry—killing and looting was far faster than hunting spirit beasts yourself.

In less than half a moment, the sounds of battle ceased. Unsurprisingly, it was a total rout. All thirty-plus bandits were dead.

Qing Yun and Qing Feng, who’d watched from the sidelines, were dumbfounded. This force’s combat power was insane. Even the ninth-level Heavenly Martial leader was taken down in moments, and the entire group was wiped out in no time.

This faction was terrifying, and without a doubt, their leader, Lin Xiao, was the strongest.

A faint glimmer flickered in Qing Yun’s eyes.

“Heh, this counter-robbery’s a goldmine—hundreds of spirit cores and a hundred kill points in one go,” Ling Hu grinned, inspecting his own storage ring. He’d taken down a high-stage Heavenly Martial fighter too.

The others buzzed with excitement, clearly having scored plenty from the bandits’ rings.

“The commotion’s a bit loud—probably caught some attention. Wonder if anyone else dares come over,” Lin Xiao said lightly, glancing at his thrilled disciples.

“Heh, why not turn bandit ourselves and rob our way through?” Hu Yue bared her little tiger teeth, chuckling dryly.

Lin Xiao shook his head helplessly. This girl was full of mischief.

Qing Yun and Qing Feng were speechless. If this lot turned to banditry, it’d be chaos.

But seeing their strength, a strange glint passed through Qing Yun’s eyes.

Though she masked it, Lin Xiao caught the shift, stirring a trace of caution in him. Qing Yun and her brother might not be as simple as mere guides.

“Rumble!” Just then, a thunderous stampede roared from ahead, growing closer fast. Dust billowed on the distant horizon.

Lin Xiao’s brow furrowed. This momentum felt significant—far stronger than the last group.

Heaven Gate’s crew straightened, battle intent rising. They’d just had a warm-up delivery, and now another wave was coming.

But as the scene ahead came into focus, Qing Yun and Qing Feng’s faces suddenly blanched.
