Always Been Yours Chapter 96

“I’m fine, thanks Uncle Chen!”

Wen Shiyu thanked gratefully and slowly sat up from the bed.

Little Bao’er immediately held her up, a pair of bright and watery eyes, full of worry, looked at her and asked, “Auntie, are you really alright? Is there anything else that’s uncomfortable?”

Wen Shiyu smiled softly and soothed, “Much better, just a little dizzy, will be fine soon, thank you for your concern, precious child.”

Little Bao’er sniffed, before he breathed a sigh of relief, “Auntie is fine, I don’t want Auntie to get sick.”

Wen Shiyu was so ironed out by the little one’s thoughtfulness that her heart almost melted.

Immediately, she looked at Feng Shenye again, slightly apologetic, “I’m sorry, Mr Feng, I’m not feeling well today, so I might not be able to give Bao’er a lesson.”

Feng Shenye didn’t take it to heart, his tone was shallow, “It’s fine, just, don’t go swimming in the middle of the night in the future, what’s going on with your body should be clearer than anyone else.”

Wen Shiyu remembered last night, her face inexplicably reddened, and she hurriedly nodded awkwardly, “Yes.”

Feng Shenye’s eyes deepened by a few points, remembering the matter of her grandmother’s phone call, hesitated for a moment, but still said, “Your grandmother made many phone calls in the morning, asking you to go back, saying that there is if for discussion.”

Wen Shiyu froze.

Grandma?

That old lady of the Wen family?

The moment she thought of that person, her brows instantly went cold, her tone was like a layer of ice as she said, “I know.”

The words were like this, but she clearly did not want to go back.

Heh – what kind of grandmother was she?

Just an old woman who relied on her status and never put her and her brother in her eyes!

Back then, she had a part to play in her mother being kicked out of the house.

She encouraged her own son to cheat on her, and said that she and her brother were not Wen Sheng’s seed, and loathed their siblings to the point that she didn’t even want to look at them.

From the moment she and her brother were kicked out of the Wen family, Wen Shiyu’s only relative in this world was her brother.

As for the Wen family, she wouldn’t even care about them anymore, let alone recognise them.

Feng Shenye could see the coldness in Wen Shiyu’s eyes and knew that she wasn’t stupid enough to rush to let people bully her, so he didn’t say anything else.

He just greeted her, “If you’re fine, get up and eat your lunch. Because of you, Bao’er was so worried that he didn’t eat breakfast, so take good care of yourself and don’t let him worry.”

After Wen Shiyu heard this, her eyebrows, which were originally slightly cold, were coloured with some warmth from new.

Her gaze softly looked towards Bao’er, her tone gentle as water, “It’s still Bao’er who is good, I like Bao’er the most! I promise, I’ll be good and take my medicine, get better sooner, and not let you worry, okay?”

“Mmhmm! Good, I like Auntie the most too!”

Little Bao’er nodded her head vigorously, her pretty eyes filled with lustre.

During lunch, Wen Shiyu ate something and finally recovered some energy.

She had slept all morning, and now she couldn’t sleep anymore, so she simply accompanied Little Bao’er to the playroom to play Lego.

Feng Shenye saw that she was not much of a problem, so he went out to the office.

In the afternoon, Wen Shiyu’s mobile phone began to be continuously bombarded again.

The person who bombarded her was naturally Old Madam Wen!

Old Mrs Wen arrived at the Wen family early this morning.
