Constructing a formation was normally most expensive in materials, but the beastman was providing those himself. What he needed was simply a formation master willing to go and build it.

The danger of the task was obvious; he could not let Hongyuan suffer a loss.

“You should thank Brother Dong Jian instead. Without his help, I would never have taken this on,” Hongyuan said.
“Senior Dong Jian, I am deeply grateful for this favour!” Lin Yun turned and cupped his fists toward Dong Jian.
“Enough with the formalities,” Dong Jian said with a smile.
“Since everything is settled, and if Brother Hongyuan has no other matters, we can head to Heart City right now,” the pavilion master suggested.
“Very well. Let us set off immediately,” Hongyuan said, rising to his feet.
The three left the residence and headed straight for Heart City.

The Young Master of the Underworld Palace sat at a table while a white-haired elder reported to him.
“Young Master, word is that the pavilion master of the Myriad Treasures Pavilion has taken that fellow out of the city. Before leaving, he also brought him to visit several formation masters in the city. It seems that fellow is also after the beastman expert’s corpse,” the elder said.

Once his father sent someone, he could simply remain in Heart City, wait for the formation master to complete the task and return, and then claim the beastman corpse for himself.

After all, the Young Master had just said that arranging a formation master would take time.
