They immediately backed off.
They wouldn’t dare provoke a Transcendent Realm cultivator.
As the six retreated, the man in the brocade robe and his guards arrived.
“Surround that kid!” the man in the brocade robe ordered.
His dozen guards rushed forward, encircling Lin Yun.
“You little pest, we’ve finally found you. Let’s see how you escape this time!” the man in the brocade robe sneered, his face twisted with malice.
“Young Master, last time I had you under my foot, begging like a dog. You weren’t so arrogant then,” Lin Yun said with a cold smile.
“You… shut up!” the man in the brocade robe flushed red with anger.

After saving them, Lin Yun had been ambushed by the man in the brocade robe’s group, who took him as a free tool. He had been separated from the brothers and his four Skyfire Temple teammates, who had escaped together.
Lin Yun hadn’t expected to see the brothers here.
However, beside them was a man in a green robe whom Lin Yun didn’t know, and his four Skyfire Temple teammates were nowhere in sight.
In an instant, the three arrived.
“It’s you two?” the man in the brocade robe recognised the brothers.
“Brother, the one surrounded is the person who saved us. And those guys tried to ambush us before,” the Mysterious Saint brother said, pointing at the man in the brocade robe’s group to the green-robed man.
The man in the brocade robe sneered, “You two don’t know when to quit. We let you go last time, and now you’re back to die?”
“Die? Hmph, what arrogance!”
The green-robed man snorted, and a powerful aura radiated from him.

The green-robed man was a Transcendent Realm cultivator.

“I can let that slide for now, but this person, I’m protecting,” the green-robed man said, pointing at Lin Yun.
“Elder Li, we can’t let this little pest go!” the man in the brocade robe said viciously.
For him, the humiliation from last time still burned. He wanted nothing more than to tear Lin Yun apart to vent his anger, having been unable to find him until now.
Now that he had, how could he let Lin Yun go?
The elder nodded, “And if we don’t let him go?”
