The epochal destructions in other star realms serve to obliterate all civilisation, ensuring those realms remain forever weakened and incapable of producing true powerhouses.
Pitting the Dao Alliance against the six major forces is another means to exploit them, causing humans to exhaust one another through internal strife. Through manufactured conflicts, it depletes human Supremes. It even uses humans to incite wars among the other clans, thereby achieving the same goal of culling the strong through warfare.
