“I hear several dwarves have come here. You have great nerve. Kneel before me.”
The Golden King’s voice was not especially loud, yet it carried a terrifying majesty that chilled the heart. An invisible pressure seemed to sweep the surroundings in an instant. Several people with weaker wills thudded to their knees. But Ye Chui, Debbie, Green, and the others remained completely unaffected.
Majesty? This group had faced every kind of enemy. They had even dared to kick the Pope a few times. A mere Golden King meant nothing.
From the Golden King’s words, Ye Chui knew they had indeed come for the dwarves. Yet Mikus and the others had not yet been discovered by Golden City. They must have received intelligence that Kas had met Mikus and the dwarves in the central city and brought them to the Stan world.
“Who told you the dwarves came here?” Ye Chui asked calmly.
Facing Ye Chui’s calm demeanour, the Golden King seemed somewhat surprised. He replied, “Niga from the Purple Silk Flower world.”
“I will deal with that shemale sooner or later,” Ye Chui said unhappily.
“Golden City protects him,” the Golden King said coldly.
Ye Chui remained unmoved. “I will kill him anyway.”
“You seek death?” The Golden King frowned, his tone threatening.
“Try me?” Ye Chui took a deep breath and replied.
He had not wanted to confront Golden City so soon, but now they had come straight to his door. Their opening demand was that he kneel. What more was there to discuss? When had this group ever feared a fight?
“Interesting.” The Golden King gave a cold laugh. He raised one hand. “But let us see how long you can keep talking tough. I just told you to kneel.”
As he spoke, golden mist surged above his palm. The mist condensed into a golden longsword. This was the very sword he had used to kill the old dwarf Sola. The Golden King seemed to possess some power to control gold. He gently pushed his palm forward. The golden longsword shot forth with a whoosh toward Ye Chui.
The crowd gasped. Ye Chui waved to stop Guni and Shalemei, who were about to rush forward to block the sword. He stepped ahead, fingers lightly brushing his pad magic guide book.
The golden longsword reached Ye Chui in an instant.
Then…
The longsword suddenly dispersed back into a pool of golden mist. Ye Chui raised his right hand. The mist surged in his palm, shifting into various shapes.
The Golden King and the other golden warriors were greatly shocked.
“You… you also possess the inheritance of the God of Gold?” the Golden King asked in surprise.
“God of Gold? What is that?” Ye Chui shook his head. He had learned about the Gods clan from Celty and knew of this God of Gold. The God of Gold was not the goddess of wealth. The goddess of wealth was a higher god, even a main god. The God of Gold was merely a subordinate under her, an intermediate god with the ability to control gold.
This Golden King had evidently obtained the God of Gold’s inheritance. As for Ye Chui, the golden sword qi ability he had gained from Gilga belonged to power created by the goddess of wealth. It was her inheritance.
The God of Gold could only freely manipulate gold.
But the goddess of wealth’s inheritance, golden sword qi, could transform gold into sword qi.
In recent days, Ye Chui had unlocked many abilities with celestial pillar points. He ignored useless ones. Most were powerful combat skills. Golden sword qi was among them.
He looked at the Golden King. A mocking smile appeared on his face. His palm moved slightly. The surging golden mist rapidly changed form. Though called mist, it was actually composed of countless tiny golden particles. Now those particles fully became light. Sword light. Golden sword qi.
Ye Chui waved his palm forward. Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh. Countless sword lights shot from his hand, reaching the Golden King instantly.
The Golden King’s face changed drastically. He struck his staff firmly on the ground. A huge golden shield appeared before him, blocking Ye Chui’s golden sword light. Yet with continuous cutting sounds, the massive shield instantly shattered into fragments.
The Golden King’s originally neat golden long hair became somewhat dishevelled. He looked rather embarrassed. He shouted loudly, intending to attack Ye Chui. But Ye Chui had already vanished from his original spot.
In the Golden King’s moment of surprise, he sensed a figure appear beside him. It was Ye Chui.
This was Ye Chui’s Divine Might Void, redeemed from the super space transfer magic spell of the Naruto world.
Seeing Ye Chui appear, the Golden King immediately prepared to defend.
But Ye Chui had already swung his fist first. “You think wearing golden armour makes you a Gold Saint? Take my Pegasus Meteor Fist!”
The Golden King instinctively raised his staff to block his chest against Ye Chui’s swinging fist.
Then Ye Chui raised his fist and kicked straight into the Golden King’s crotch.
“Eek!”
The Golden King’s handsome, cold face instantly flushed red. Clang. His staff fell to the ground. He bent over, clutching his crotch, body trembling, barely able to stand.
“Golden King!”
“My lord!”
The other golden warriors, seeing this, flew into rage and rushed to attack Ye Chui.
But then a series of bang, bang, bang gunshots rang out. The Dragon Tooth troops had formed ranks. Gunfire linked into lines, continuously bombarding the golden warriors.
Though modified bullets were powerful, against golden warriors their damage was negligible. The golden armour provided strong protection. After the Dragon Tooth warriors opened fire, the golden warriors even lowered their visors for full defence. Bullets struck them, sparking brilliantly, but caused no substantial harm.
One golden swordsman bathed in bullets, stepping steadily toward a firing Dragon Tooth squad. He swung his battle axe. Crash. He overturned a swathe of them. From behind his golden visor came a contemptuous laugh. How could these puny humans possibly match them, the “divine domain warriors” empowered by the activated divine artifact?
“Roar!”
An orc warrior wielding a war hammer roared and leapt high, smashing toward that golden warrior’s head.
Yet the golden warrior merely raised one palm. Bang. He blocked the hammer. Gripping it, he squeezed. Crash. The fine steel hammer shattered into scraps.
Terror appeared on the orc warrior’s face.
“Trash!” The golden warrior kicked the orc in the chest. The burly orc flew back screaming, knocking down a group.
There were only twelve golden warriors besides the Golden King. Yet even twelve possessed overwhelming strength.
The Stan world’s most feared modified firearms gained no advantage against them.
“You all deserve death!” The golden warrior saw several fallen human warriors before him, groaning as they crawled away. He raised his battle axe to finish them.
But then, boom. A golden light suddenly struck the golden warrior, blasting him aside.
The golden light was a woman. A golden-haired woman in golden armour.
The Kryptonian female swordsman, Gilga.
In this time, Ye Chui had earned massive points. He unlocked many powers for himself and his companions, choosing only the sufficiently strong ones. Debbie’s most powerful spirit was the terrifying clown with near-sword saint strength. Gilga ranked just below. At great cost, Debbie fully unlocked the terrifying clown. For Gilga, only three seals were unlocked, yet she remained very powerful, especially against these gold-controlling golden warriors.
Gilga appeared gracefully. Upon summoning, she kicked away the rampaging golden warrior, drawing the attention of the other eleven golden swordsmen.
The Kryptonian female swordsman had her pride and etiquette. Realising it had been long since her last summon, she coldly ignored the golden swordsmen, turned, knelt on one knee to Debbie, and said solemnly, “Miss Debbie, it has been a while.”
Debbie was continually slapping scrolls onto herself. She nodded and told the others, “All of you fall back. Leave these guys to me.”
The Golden King would be handled by Ye Chui.
The remaining golden warriors would be dealt with by her, the vice president.
Yet just after Debbie said this, whoosh, whoosh, whoosh. Several golden weapons shot forth instantly, piercing through Gilga as she rose, passing clean through her body.
The surroundings fell into deathly silence for a moment.
Hmm.
This differed somewhat from the expected scene of the vice president slaughtering all sides.
But soon they were astonished to find that Gilga, pierced through, seemed completely fine. She looked down at the golden weapons transfixing her body, even showing a cold smile.
“Attacking me with gold?” She turned. The golden weapons within her body vaporised, transforming into sword qi and merging into her form. Even the exit wounds vanished without trace. “Well, thank you very much.”
Gilga’s spirit characteristic was: summoning her required huge magic power. However, if gold or similar substances like dragon blood stones that could convert to golden sword qi were present, she could sustain herself by transforming them into sword qi and absorbing it.
Notably, originally gold or dragon blood stones had to be given by Debbie for smooth conversion. But in the Godsin Continent, Gilga became a spirit card. Spirit cards differed entirely from spirit contracts, allowing spirits more independent existence. No contract needed. With Gilga’s spirit card and magic power, she could be summoned. Also, no longer requiring the host to personally provide gold for sword qi recharge.
In a sense, though only three seals unlocked now, Gilga was stronger than before.
In places with gold, she would be invincible.
Facing gold-controlling golden warriors…
She was their natural counter.
“You hit me so pleasantly just now. If you have more gold, feel free to attack me. I promise not to fight back.”
Gilga advanced toward the golden warriors with a sinister smile.
