Ye Chui sensed that his iPad upgrade had finally finished. He set aside thoughts of the conspiracy and hurried into the temple.
At that exact moment, golden light suddenly flashed across the clear sky. A beam of light carrying terrifying divine authority appeared without warning. The War God’s successor and the other members of the Temple of Gods were all shocked, for they could clearly feel the power within that beam: it came from their own divine domain.
“What is going on? That light… it seems to be our Divine Order?” the War God’s successor cried out in surprise.
“This is impossible! How can the Divine Order leave the divine artefact and appear here?” the Storm God’s successor exclaimed right after.
The Divine Order that operated within the Temple of Gods’ artefact had been left behind by the Magic Emperor. It was completely different from the Divine Orders in other artefacts. The most notable difference was its ability to accommodate, and even devour, the inheritances of other gods. Ever since the Temple of Gods obtained this Divine Order, their domain had constantly waged wars against others.
Each victory allowed the Divine Order to swallow the enemy’s divine inheritance.
That was how the Temple of Gods earned its name.
Yet now, the Divine Order left by the Magic Emperor had actually detached from the artefact and appeared here?
The golden beam in the sky was almost solid, sending out ripples of light. It finally descended into the temple. The seven successors of the Temple of Gods looked at each other, then quickly followed.
But with friend and foe still unclear, when they tried to enter the temple, Gwen and Salome immediately blocked the entrance and warily stopped them.
Inside the temple, Ye Chui had already picked up his upgraded iPad.
“Congratulations. Your upgrade is complete. iPad Air has been upgraded to iPad Pro.

Ye Chui looked over the new features with growing excitement. He did not yet know the exact effects of these abilities, but he could tell this upgrade would make controlling divine power much easier.
“Now the iPad can keep the artefact running even without being connected?”
Ye Chui noticed the new Smart Wi-Fi feature and his eyes lit up. He tried unplugging the data cable from the iPad.
When the upgrade finished, the artefact resumed normal operation. Divine power descended upon the Stan world, turning everyone back into divine citizens. They instantly changed from the rough style of ancient scrolls to the glossy appearance of the Oily Sister. Lesha, Celty, and the other girls joyfully examined their restored beauty. When they saw Ye Chui remove the cable, their faces filled with alarm and they moved to stop him, but even after he unplugged it, they remained radiant and glossy.
Both were surprised.
“The new ability lets the artefact run without the data cable,” Ye Chui said with a smile, holding the iPad.
It was now slightly larger, growing from 9.7 inches to 12.9 inches. The design was sleeker, brimming with fashionable elegance. Holding it conveyed a sense of understated luxury… Ahem. Ye Chui snapped out of his delight with the new iPad and continued checking its features.
At that moment, the aura of the Divine Order that the Temple of Gods members had sensed descended into the temple. The group wanted to enter and investigate, but Gwen and the others blocked the doorway.
The War God’s successor called out loudly, “Mr Ye Chui, what has happened? Why has the Temple of Gods’ Divine Order appeared here?”
“What? The Temple of Gods’ Divine Order?” Ye Chui was stunned and looked towards the entrance in confusion.
Just then, a series of beeps sounded from his iPad and a window popped up.
“New app detected. Install?”
“A new app?” Ye Chui blinked. In the iPad grimoire, each “app” was essentially a spell. A new app meant a new spell, but why would the grimoire proactively suggest installing one?
Curiosity got the better of him, and he quickly tapped confirm.
Immediately, a beam of light fell from above and poured straight into his iPad.
Everyone inside gasped.
The Temple of Gods members who saw this also cried out in shock. They had no idea what Ye Chui had done. That light was clearly their Divine Order, yet why was it entering the strange device in his hands?
The new app installed quickly.
Ye Chui finally saw its name.
The name left him momentarily speechless.
“Beep beep… Become a God?”
The new app was actually called [Beep Beep Become a God]!
[Divine Power Pay] and [Beep Beep Become a God]…
Ye Chui opened [Beep Beep Become a God] to figure out what it was. The moment the interface appeared, understanding flooded his mind.
“[Beep Beep Become a God]… so that’s how it works?” Ye Chui quickly turned to the Temple of Gods group. “You just said your artefact’s Order came from the Magic Emperor?”
“That’s right. The reason our Temple of Gods can conquer other domains is precisely because of the Divine Order left by the Magic Emperor!” the War God’s successor confirmed.
“Ye Chui, what’s wrong? Is there a problem with this Divine Order?” Celty asked, deeply concerned about anything related to the Magic Emperor.
“Yes. If I’m not mistaken, the Divine Order left by the Magic Emperor originally came from the God of All Gods,” Ye Chui replied.
“From the God of All Gods?” Debbie was shocked. “Did he steal it?”
“Impossible. Faramir never had the chance,” Celty denied.
“It was probably given to the Magic Emperor personally by the God of All Gods. This Divine Order has a mysterious connection to my grimoire,” Ye Chui continued. The connection felt like the relationship between Alipay and Didi Chuxing.
He shared his guess, “The God of All Gods created the divine race. Celty said this was the sealing power granted by the Creator God. For some reason, perhaps sensing the threat of demons, the God of All Gods split the sealing power in two. One part went into my grimoire, the other to the Magic Emperor. Through the arrangements of fate, the two powers have now merged.”
The others understood what Ye Chui meant. Green exclaimed in surprise, “President, do you mean you can now grant godhood to others?”

“Exactly. But my power isn’t enough yet. I can only let others inherit a god’s legacy, not create a complete god from nothing,” Ye Chui explained. Eager to test this miraculous ability, he glanced around and settled on Lesha standing nearby.
Lesha held the holy scripture of the Goddess of Faith, making her the inheritor of the Goddess of Faith, though she had not yet fully unlocked her inherited power.
Ye Chui aimed the iPad camera at Lesha.
“Big brother, what are you doing?” Lesha asked curiously.
“Don’t move. I’m going to make you a god.”
Ye Chui said this seriously.
Using the QR code scanner in [Beep Beep Become a God], he scanned Lesha. Her image appeared on the screen, along with detailed information: age, name, measurements, and more…
At the bottom of the data was a line: Detected inheritable divine attribute.
Please select godhood attribute.
Recommendation: Goddess of Faith.
Ye Chui immediately selected Goddess of Faith.

“So affordable?” Ye Chui thought, then confirmed.
He did not know what divine power storage was or whether he had enough to grant Lesha godhood.
After confirmation, the [Divine Power Pay] interface appeared. Quick divine power payment. Fingerprint verified. Ding. 5721 divine power points deducted. Remaining: 1298 points.
The next instant, a pure holy beam appeared out of nowhere above Lesha and enveloped her. Bathed in that sacred light, her face became serene and holy.
When the light faded, faint glimmers still flickered around her. She opened her closed eyes, clearly feeling the change.
The biggest difference was… she looked down at her chest, frowning slightly as if worried about the increase again.
Debbie’s expression could only be described as furious. She glared at Ye Chui. “I want it too…”
“Behave. You’ve already inherited the Goddess of Wealth’s power,” Ye Chui said helplessly.
“But why am I… not the same!” Debbie pointed at Lesha, then at herself.
“The Goddess of Wealth back then had exactly your figure,” Celty interjected from Turtle Treasure’s arms, craning her neck to glance at Lesha. “Lesha now looks identical to the original Goddess of Faith, Vivian. Does inheriting divine power also inherit some physical traits of the god?”
Lesha let out an exasperated sigh, pulled the holy scripture from her bosom. After inheriting the Goddess of Faith’s power, she felt a bloodline-like connection to it. With a thought, the book floated before her.
Its pages flipped automatically with a rustling sound.
“I think I can control many powers of faith now, but I still need magic support…” Lesha murmured thoughtfully.
“President!” Green approached Ye Chui excitedly. “I want a divine inheritance too!” After a pause, he added somewhat evasively, “I want the god of hair.”
“Uh, alright. Let me try…”
Ye Chui scanned Green’s face with the iPad.
Just like with Lesha, an info box appeared with Green’s basic details, followed by:

“There are lots of options: God of Space, Body of Divine Light, God of Monks, God of Food, God of Cleanliness… I think God of Space suits you best, Green,” Ye Chui concluded.
Green’s eyes lit up. “Really? Then I’ll take God of Space!”
“Green, I don’t want to discourage you… The God of Space, Nisduo, was the magic teacher of the God of All Gods. He was already very old when he became a god, so he was completely bald…” Celty struck at that moment.
Green: “…What?”
Celty continued, “And all the gods Ye Chui just mentioned… seem to be bald.”
Green: “…”
Debbie patted Green’s shoulder comfortingly. “I think your baldness is the will of the great universe. No one can stop it.”
Green: “…You really don’t know how to comfort people.”
“So, do you still want this God of Space?” Ye Chui asked again.
Green was silent for a moment, then nodded reluctantly with a look of resignation. “I’m already bald anyway. This one it is!”

“So many?” Ye Chui was startled, then realised it probably related to inheritance rate.
“The inheritance rate seems to determine how much divine power is needed.”
Ye Chui regretfully told Green he could not grant it yet. Green looked disappointed. Then Ye Chui pondered, “I wonder how divine power is obtained?”
5721 plus 1298 made exactly seven thousand.
Ye Chui looked at the seven members of the Temple of Gods and suddenly understood.
“Could defeating one divine inheritor grant a thousand divine power points?”
“Ye Chui, if you can grant godhood, does that mean you could fully inherit the power of the God of All Gods?” Debbie asked.
“Let me check…” Ye Chui quickly examined the grimoire.
He found no information on this, but after thinking for a moment, he suddenly grasped the true meaning of inheriting the God of All Gods’ power.
