Crossgate Seal Chapter 390

On the deck, the fishy smell was pungent. One bodyguard stood by the ship’s rail, pouring buckets of cow blood into the sea.

Lu Zheng looked around and realised that the yacht was surrounded by endless sea, having ventured far from shore without knowing how distant.

“So, you’re planning to…”

Lu Zheng was forced to the ship’s rail by the bodyguard behind him, and he saw several large dorsal fins on the sea surface.

“Sharks?”

“Correct! Right answer!” Sha Dun snapped his fingers, “Surprised? Unexpected?”

“I suddenly realise how uncreative dumping bodies at sea bottom is. Feeding the sharks is the fate you lot should enjoy.

It’s said shark senses of smell are very keen, detecting blood from over a hundred nautical miles away. I’ve had people scatter five buckets of cow blood here in half an hour, and sharks from hundreds of nautical miles around are rushing in.

I just peeked over the side. Not only are there many, but various species too. Quite the spectacle. Dancing with so many sharks, you probably never imagined it, right?”

Sha Dun wore a full smile, extending his finger from Pu Chawang to Lu Zheng, then from Lu Zheng to Lin Wan, “Let me choose. Who starts the performance?”

“Sha Dun, you promised not to kill me!” Pu Chawang’s expression changed drastically, “I told you the transaction info was leaked, helped you dodge this arrest, and I’ll tip you off in future. You promised! You won’t kill me!”

“Tsk tsk tsk!” Sha Dun smiled and approached Pu Chawang.

“Guess how I conveniently cornered you in your room?”

“What!” Pu Chawang’s pupils contracted sharply.

“Of course, because I already have an inside line in Mian Country’s Interpol!”

“You’re just a minor operative in the action team. Do I need you to tip me off?” Sha Dun burst into laughter, then suddenly struck, shoving Pu Chawang into the sea.

“Ah!!!”

Pu Chawang was reeling in shock, unprepared for Sha Dun’s sudden move, and tumbled off the rail with a splash into the water.

“Help! Help!”

No one on the boat reacted, not even Lin Wan moved.

A police officer who betrayed his faith had no right to her risking exposure to save him.

“Ah! Ah!! Ah!!!”

Several sharks latched onto Pu Chawang, then death rolls followed. Pu Chawang was soon devoured by the sharks, lifeless.

“I’ll give you another chance. Drink this wine, and you’re my friend. And I’m always generous to friends.”

Sha Dun looked at Lin Wan and Lu Zheng, his round face beaming with warmth. He nodded towards the side, gesturing.

Lu Zheng turned back and saw his accountant not far away, holding a glass of wine in one hand.

Lu Zheng flexed his fingers, about to act, when Lin Wan suddenly asked, “Have you killed Chinese police before?”

“Hmm?”

Sha Dun couldn’t help looking up, locking eyes with Lin Wan for a moment before nodding, “You should know I have a camp in northern Myanmar, occasionally encountering your people.”

Sha Dun shrugged, feigning a sigh, “I regret it.”

“You should indeed regret it, and you’ll soon be sorry.” Lin Wan said flatly.

“Oh?” Sha Dun looked at Lin Wan with some curiosity, “How so?”

Lin Wan glanced around, “For example, do you think handguns work on us?”

The bodyguards tensed, then all stepped back, opening distance to prevent Lin Wan and Lu Zheng from suddenly lashing out.

However…

Lu Zheng reached out, and the three bodyguards felt their hands lighten as the pistols flew from their grips into Lu Zheng’s hand.

Then, with a casual toss, all three guns were flung into the sea.

“What!?”

Sha Dun’s pupils contracted sharply, his mind going blank, involuntarily dazed for a moment.

Regaining composure, he blinked, then saw the three bodyguards still in stunned states.

The next instant, Lin Wan moved like the wind, grabbing the nearest bodyguard’s collar and hurling him into the sea with a backhand throw.

“Crack!”

In a blink, Lin Wan was beside the other two bodyguards, her hands extending to grip their arms each.

The two bodyguards reacted instantly, one punching, the other kicking to break free from Lin Wan’s hold.

But Lin Wan shook her hands, blood energy surging into their bodies, shattering their strength like dry leaves in wind, leaving them powerless.

The half-extended punch and the leg that had just reached knee height both drooped limply.

With a light flick, the nearly two-hundred-pound burly men were tossed into the air by Lin Wan, tracing elegant parabolas, then…

“Splash! Splash!”

“Aaah!!!”

On the other side, Sha Dun’s accountant let go, and the two glasses of red wine fell. Lu Zheng flashed to his side, catching the two glasses.

“2002 Romanée-Conti, mustn’t waste it.”

The next moment, the accountant’s palm flipped, a blade appearing at his fingertip, slashing towards Lu Zheng’s neck.

“Not bad, well hidden.” Lu Zheng praised, sidestepping to avoid the blade to his throat.

Facing a possibly superhuman foe, the accountant didn’t pause an instant, moving swiftly as another blade appeared in his other hand, slashing towards Lu Zheng’s neck in sequence.

“Swish!”

Hands crossing, the blades sliced air.

The next instant, a massive shoe sole appeared in the accountant’s vision.

“Bang!”

The sole met the accountant’s face in intimate contact. Sha Dun heard a “crack”, then his accountant flew up, arcing from the deck’s left to right, then into the water.

“Splash!”

No scream, though, as he had fainted from the face-shoe contact.

“Bang! Bang! Bang!”

“Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang…”

Several shots rang out from the wheelhouse’s last bodyguard and the secretary leaning at the living room door.

The bodyguard fired three shots at Lin Wan, while the secretary emptied his magazine at Lu Zheng.

Sha Dun watched without blinking.

Lin Wan glanced at her left shoulder, where a grey-black scorch mark lingered.

“Good marksmanship.”

Sha Dun gaped. The bodyguard fired at Lin Wan again.

“Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang…”

“Click! Click! Click!”

The next moment, Sha Dun saw Lin Wan’s figure flicker a few times, then stand firm again, expression calm.

Sha Dun’s breath hitched, pupils contracting, then he looked at Lu Zheng and found him grinning in place.

Sha Dun: 〣(ºΔº)〣

The next instant, Lu Zheng waved his hand, and the bodyguard and secretary flew as if hit by an invisible wall, bodies launching into the sea behind.

A few screams, then the scene held only the sound of waves and sea breeze.

By now, on the yacht, besides Lu Zheng and Lin Wan, only Sha Dun remained.

Lu Zheng handed over a glass of red wine. Lin Wan took it calmly, then the two joined hands and approached Sha Dun.

Lin Wan raised her glass, asking flatly, “Regret it yet?”

Lu Zheng smiled and sipped his wine, “Surprised? Unexpected?”
