Doting Billionaire Chapter 3748

Just earlier, Second Sis had stormed in here causing a scene, and he’d transferred her fifty thousand yuan. Though he hadn’t spent much time with her, they were still siblings—he should be able to recognize his own sister.

But with Big Sis’s question hanging in the air, Ning Tianlei’s confidence wavered. He couldn’t say for sure that it was his Second Sis.

That young lady beside her?

He’d watched the video a few times but hadn’t paid much attention to the woman—only noting she was young, pretty, and decked out in flashy jewelry. The video had sound, and Big Sis had called her “Mrs. Long,” so her husband’s family name was probably Long.

Mrs. Long had been polite to Big Sis, even speaking up for her.

But Ning Tianlei didn’t know her at all.

Why was Big Sis asking him this?

Should he know Mrs. Long?

He replayed the video twice more, still seeing nothing special about Mrs. Long—just that he didn’t recognize her.

Without the video, he wouldn’t even know she existed.

He looked at his eldest sister.

Ning Yunchu said gently, “If you can’t tell, that’s fine. She’s getting better at playing that role—flawless, like she *is* that person.”

“We’ll talk more about it tonight when we’re home.”

Ning Yunchu printed out two online orders and started arranging flowers.

Once she’d crafted two bouquets, she handed them to her brother with instructions. “It’s still early for hotpot, and since you’re back with nothing to do, help me deliver these. The addresses are here.”

She pointed to small notes tucked into the bouquets. “After delivery, make sure the recipient’s correct, then take the notes back. Don’t ruin the customer’s mood when they get the flowers.”

Ning Tianlei pocketed his phone, took the bouquets, checked the addresses, and slipped the notes into his pants pocket. Grabbing the electric scooter keys, he said, “Big Sis, I’ll deliver them now.”

The customers were in the industrial district—not too far. He could manage on the scooter.

Leaving the shop, he placed the bouquets in the scooter’s front basket, put on his helmet, and rode off.

“You’re planning to tell Tianlei?” Zhan Yichen asked his wife softly.

“Tianlei’s young, and you’re not a hundred percent sure about that matter.”

Ning Yunchu sat at the counter. Zhan Yichen poured her a cup of warm water, then went to the small kitchen, opened the fridge, and pulled out a box of preserved pastries.

He’d brought them that morning when he dropped his wife off at the shop.

For her to snack on so she wouldn’t go hungry.

“Tianlei’s an adult now—he’s got his own mind. When it comes to his Second Sis, he needs to know.”

“So he doesn’t end up as Ning Siqi’s personal ATM.”

Ning Yunchu didn’t think his youth justified keeping him in the dark.

Their Ning family had no elders running things anymore.

She was in charge—but only of her own household.

She and her brother weren’t truly one unit. He represented the Ning family’s main branch; she, the second branch.

Whatever Ning Siqi was up to, Tianlei needed to have a clue—lest he get burned too badly.

“Once he knows, he can help out. Ning Siqi’s less guarded around him.”

Zhan Yichen nodded in agreement.

“You’re hungry too, right? Here, have a pastry—I made these for you this morning.”

Ning Yunchu reached for it, then pulled back. “Let me wash my hands first.”

Zhan Yichen simply held it to her lips.

She took a bite, then went to wash up.

“Would’ve been nice to keep feeding you—no effort on your part,” Zhan Yichen said with a hint of regret, missing his chance to pamper her more.
