She’d barely ended the call when Zhan Yiyang, phone still in hand, saw a luxury car drive out from the company.
The after-work rush was over, most employees already gone.

Du Yumeng had just mentioned on the phone that her sister was leaving.
Zhan Yiyang guessed the luxury car was hers.
It drove out the company gates, stopping beside him.
The back window rolled down, and Eldest Miss Du leaned out, looking at him.
“President Du, hello.”
Zhan Yiyang greeted politely.
“What are you doing here?”
Eldest Miss Du asked coldly.
“Waiting for Yumeng to finish work, to invite her to dinner.”
“Waiting for Yumeng, to treat her to dinner? What’s that about, Fourth Young Master? Need her help with something, or are you pursuing her again like before?”
Before he could answer, she continued, “Didn’t you say you could never love our Yumeng? If you don’t like her, why force yourself? Just tell your grandma clearly.”
“Don’t keep coming to toy with our Yumeng, last time she stopped us from acting, doesn’t mean we’ll always hold back, if you dare play with her feelings again, I don’t care who you are, I’ll skin you alive!”
Eldest Miss Du’s words grew fiercer.
If Zhan Yiyang dared hurt her sister’s feelings again, she’d really skin him.
No matter his status, with the Zhan family’s values, Grandma Zhan would probably want to skin him herself for what he’d done.
He was tarnishing the good name the Zhan family had built over generations.
Zhan Yiyang’s expression turned serious, “President Du, I won’t do that again, this time, I’m absolutely sincere. It’s not my grandma sending me, I came on my own.”
