Hai Tong laughed and gently pinched her son’s cheek.
“You little rascal, you already know how to talk back to Mummy so quickly.”
Zhan Muchen was a little chatterbox when he was with his mummy. He had a lot to say.
In front of his daddy, he did not dare to be too bold.
Although Mummy was strict with them too, she was still gentler than Daddy. Daddy was too serious. Daddy’s tenderness was only for Mummy and little sister.

“I had time this afternoon, so I came to pick him up from school. I told the butler not to come.”
“Is Xiaojun busy?”

Before Mrs Su could answer, Su Meng happily said, “Auntie Hai, my mummy has a little brother in her tummy.”

Mrs Su wanted to say her grandson had no filter. Her daughter-in-law had just found out about the second pregnancy last night. She had used a home pregnancy test, and it showed two lines, but she had not gone to the hospital yet.

She had not expected her grandson to be such a big mouth and blurt it out so quickly.
Fortunately, it was Hai Tong. She and Xiaojun were best friends.

For outsiders, Mrs Su did not want to say anything. They would wait until Xiaojun’s pregnancy was stable, after three months, before announcing it.
“We only found out last night. It should be very early. She used a pregnancy test stick, and it showed two red lines, though the second one was not very clear yet. We plan to wait a week and then go to the hospital for confirmation.”
Hai Tong smiled. “Then it’s pretty much certain.”
