Mother Lin had just woken up from sleep. After waking, she checked the time and saw that it was already the early hours of the morning.
She got up, walked out of the room, and looked towards her son’s master bedroom. She found that the door was slightly ajar, which meant her son had not returned yet.
If her son had come back, he would have closed the door when sleeping at night, not left it ajar.
Left ajar meant he had not returned.
Mother Lin frowned and muttered, “Where has he gone in the middle of the night, why has he still not come back.”
She turned around and went back into the room, picked up her phone, and called her son.
The call went through, but her son did not answer.
She called several times and it was the same each time. Mother Lin became frightened, thinking that something had happened to her son. She quickly pushed her husband awake and said anxiously, “Old Lin, A Jian went out and still has not come home. It is already early morning.”
“I called him, the call went through, but he did not answer. It has been like that several times.”
“Could something have happened to A Jian.”
Father Lin rubbed his eyes and said, “A Jian is already a grown man, what could happen to him. He is probably out drinking with friends.”
“Call Yuehua and ask her who A Jian usually spends time with.”
Mother Lin did not care that it was the middle of the night and that calling might disturb He Yuehua. She immediately called He Yuehua.
He Yuehua answered Mother Lin’s call very quickly.
“Auntie, I am at a bar. Doctor Lin is drinking at the bar and he is drunk. The bar staff called me and asked me to come and take him home. I have just arrived at the bar. Auntie, you must be worried about Doctor Lin.”
Hearing news of her son, Mother Lin finally relaxed. But when she heard that her son had gone to a bar and drunk himself senseless, she felt heartache again and said, “He said he was going out for a walk, to clear his head and get some fresh air. How did he end up going to a bar to drink.”
“Did he go to the Zeng family again. Only after going there would he feel bad and then run off to a bar to drink.”
“Yuehua, please trouble you to send A Jian back. Thankfully you are there, otherwise his father and I would be worried to death.”
He Yuehua said, “Auntie, do not worry. I will send Doctor Lin back. Auntie, go to sleep and do not worry.”

Because of Doctor Zeng, Doctor Lin had been drunk who knows how many times.

Mother Lin now had a very strong opinion about Zeng Xiaoya.
She felt that Zeng Xiaoya not choosing her son meant that she was greedy for wealth and status, trying to climb higher, and looking down on her son.
“I really want to see whether that one surnamed Zeng can actually marry into a wealthy family and rise up like a phoenix. Do not let it end up that they do not want her anymore, and she cannot even find a man like my A Jian, only able to become an old spinster. I would laugh myself to death then.”
He Yuehua did not respond.
No matter what, Doctor Zeng would not be unable to get married.
It only depended on whether Doctor Zeng wanted to marry or not.
With such good conditions, such a good family background, and decent looks, as long as she wanted to marry, there would be plenty of men lining up to marry Doctor Zeng.
