The snake-headed demon was indeed formidable, its speed astonishingly swift.
Yet Mo Fan’s strength was greater, his speed even faster.
After consuming so many demons, he gained not only demonic and spiritual energy but also immense vitality and the strengths of each demon’s true form.
Each demon he devoured strengthened his body further.
At this moment, his demonic form was outrageously powerful, confident that he could reign invincible within the Demon Soldier realm.
Mo Fan seized the snake-headed demon’s head like a fleeting shadow, slamming its body backward, its head crashing heavily into the ground and sinking into the hard earth.
He was genuinely furious.
His anger stemmed not from the death of Spider Demon Old Eight but from this snake demon daring to kill his subordinate and provoke him so brazenly.
Since it sought death, he would oblige.
The surrounding demons were stunned. The snake-headed demon, so formidable moments ago, had been overpowered in an instant by the demon-eater, filling their hearts with fear.
Just as Mo Fan prepared to finish the snake-headed demon with a single blow, a surge of extreme danger gripped him. Alarmed, he instantly activated his Mountain Armour.
Buzz.
Golden armour emerged on Mo Fan’s body, glowing faintly, causing the ground to crack beneath him.
“Clang!”
Two sparks flared on the golden armour. Mo Fan felt a slight tremor on his body, then saw a figure retreat.
He glared at the figure, his eyes brimming with killing intent.
It was the Blade Demon who had escaped earlier.
“You got away before, and now you dare come back? Courting death!”
Mo Fan snorted coldly, then glanced at the snake-headed demon beside the Blade Demon, grinning. “Excellent. This makes it more interesting. Two peak Demon Soldiers, enough for a delicious feast!”
As his words fell, he stomped the ground with his right foot, lunging forward.
“This beast’s strength is terrifying, Blind One, you’re up!”
The Blade Demon growled, dodging to one side with the snake-headed demon, not daring to face Mo Fan directly.
As the two demons parted, a tall figure in a black robe appeared before Mo Fan.
It was a robust man with pupil-less, white eyes, standing over ten feet tall, like a black iron tower.
“I’ve caught your scent!”
The robust man sneered, throwing a punch.
Boom!
Mo Fan’s fist collided with his, the ground beneath them exploding. A storm radiated from the two, sending leaves scattering wildly.
“Such immense strength, blocking my punch?”
Mo Fan’s eyes widened. He had thought no one in the Demon Soldier realm could withstand his strength, yet here was an exception.
“Kid, not bad strength. But sadly, I am a brown bear by nature. Even tiger demons can’t match my power!”
“What’s more, the Demon King says I have a special physique, a born Demon King Treasure Body, destined to become a Demon King! Forget a mere Demon Soldier like you, even a newly ascended Demon General wouldn’t dare challenge my strength!”
The bear demon, called “Blind One,” grinned menacingly, throwing another punch at Mo Fan, sneering, “Overconfident fool, daring to compete with me in strength? You’ll be reduced to mush!”
“Shut up and fight!”
Mo Fan scoffed, unleashing his Small Thunder Sound Fist, clashing furiously with the bear demon.
Demon King Treasure Body? So what?
I’ll beat you to a pulp regardless.
Thus, two peak Demon Soldiers abandoned divine abilities and demonic techniques, engaging in the most primal, brutal combat, trading blows that drew blood.
Both Mo Fan and Blind One trembled with each clash, the ground quaking. Ordinary demons dared not intervene, nor did the Blade Demon or snake-headed demon dare join the fray.
“Can Blind One win?”
The snake-headed demon frowned, his gaze fixed on Mo Fan, eyes blazing with killing intent.
Mo Fan’s earlier strike had brought him close to death and humiliation. Had the Blade Demon not intervened, he knew he would have died.
“Don’t worry. He’s a Demon King Treasure Body, highly valued by the Demon King. In our Black Nether Mountain, he’s practically a preordained Demon General, our biggest trump card besides you and me. That guy shouldn’t be Blind One’s match! And have you forgotten what we hold?”
The Blade Demon sneered, full of confidence in Blind One. His strength was no less than his own. While he surpassed Blind One in demonic techniques, in raw power, he felt three of himself wouldn’t match Blind One.
“Good. This demon-eater is terrifying and infuriating. He must die!”
The snake-headed demon sneered, his lips curling, as if forgetting he had nearly died at Mo Fan’s hands, now brimming with confidence to kill him.
“Fine. First, we eliminate Black Wind Mountain’s nuisances, then we deal with Black Cloud Mountain’s lot!”
As the Blade Demon spoke, Blind One’s massive body was sent flying.
“???”
The sudden scene left the Blade Demon and snake-headed demon wide-eyed.
What happened?
Blind One, with his Demon King Treasure Body, had lost?
Only then did they clearly see the state of the two demons. Blind One’s massive body was riddled with bloody holes, while Mo Fan was drenched in blood, like a blood-soaked figure.
But upon closer inspection, their faces twitched.
The demon-eater had not a single wound.
Beneath the blood, his Mountain Armour gleamed.
He wasn’t injured. The blood was all Blind One’s.
“Demon King Treasure Body?”
“Nothing special!”
Mo Fan smirked, his demonic aura surging, shaking off the blood. Golden light shone anew from his armour.
“Damn you, you tricked me!”
“Relying on your armour’s defence, you ignored my attacks!”
Blind One climbed up, his face dark with rage. He raised his right hand to his mouth.
Mo Fan looked closely and saw the bear demon holding a red fruit, resembling the vermilion fruit from the Six-Colour Vermilion Fruit Tree. The bear demon swallowed it whole.
“Argh!”
The bear demon roared skyward, his human-like spiritual form rapidly demonising, growing larger, sprouting thick brown fur, resembling a towering, upright brown bear.
This bear was far larger than any Mo Fan had seen.
As it roared, immense demonic aura radiated, an aura of ferocity rising, making the distant demons gasp.
“Kid, you’ve enraged me!”
“I’ll show you true fury!”
