Niu Xiaosheng was stunned, then showed a look of realisation. He touched his chin, looked around, and suddenly grabbed the black-clothed one’s fair and tender hand, chuckling, “Let’s go!”
“You… what are you doing?!”
The black-clothed one glared, her eyes filled with fear.
“What can I do?”
Niu Xiaosheng rolled his eyes. Seeing the fear in her gaze, he realised and said with a wry smile, “No, I am the Little Saint of Juling Mountain. I act justly and fight demons fairly. Can you stop looking at me like I’m some villain?”
“Then why are you pulling me to leave this place?” the black-clothed one asked, frowning.
“I…”
Niu Xiaosheng was about to speak but suddenly let go of her hand, saying helplessly, “Fine! I was going to take you away, but it seems we can’t leave for now. No wonder that guy dumped you on me. You’re truly a burden!”
Niu Xiaosheng sighed, then his demonic aura surged, his eyes turning icy as he looked at the dozen or so demon generals approaching. He grinned, “Come on, you rats, bring it on!”

“Do you think he can come back alive?”
The black-clothed one trembled at these words but soon took a deep breath and said firmly, “He can!”
“Hey! They say demons are heartless, but the bond between you siblings seems pretty strong, doesn’t it?” Niu Xiaosheng sneered.
“Because we are each other’s closest in this world…”
“Cheesy. The meat’s ready. Want some?”
“I’ll pass. Can you save some for my brother?”
“Why should I? This is my trophy!”
“Because he gets hungry fast…”
The two demons waited for a full three days.
“Looks like your brother isn’t coming back. He might have already become a pile of dung for that demon king!”
Niu Xiaosheng stretched lazily, picking his teeth with a thin bamboo stick. Beside him was a large pile of demon bones.

The black-clothed one was furious, her body trembling. How could she not be worried?
“Just kidding. Look, isn’t he here?!”
Niu Xiaosheng chuckled, pointing to the sky. The black-clothed one quickly looked up and saw a demonic cloud approaching, with a bloodied figure atop it. It was the white-clothed one!
In his hand, he held a bloody beast head, a bear’s head!
“This guy really killed a demon king?”
Niu Xiaosheng’s eyes gleamed. He shot into the sky, heading straight for the white-clothed one, laughing loudly, “Kid, you made me wait so long. Come fight me now!”
“As you wish!”

The two figures collided, engaging in a fierce battle.
The black-clothed one watched the two demons fighting in the sky with worry.
Moments later, a black shadow crashed into the ground, sinking into the earth.
“White-clothed brother!!”
The black-clothed one cried out, rushing over.
“Cough… I lost…”
The white-clothed one emerged from the dirt, looking defeated, covered in wounds.
“You weren’t prepared this time. It wasn’t satisfying. I’ll come back for another fight!”
“If you lose to me again, I’ll eat you!”
“And don’t just leave your sister with a strange demon. That’s outrageous!”

“You won’t!”

The white-clothed one smiled. Though Niu Xiaosheng didn’t reveal his identity, he had a guess and asked curiously, “Who are the other two?”
“One is the arrogant holy son of Fengming Mountain, and the other is the future holy son of Baihu Mountain, who seems to be… a toad?”
