The Tao Te Ching was authored by an ancient sage from Mo Fan’s previous life, it is a timeless classic, and is revered by Taoism as one of its primary scriptures, with the entire text comprising over five thousand words.

“The Tao that can be spoken is not the eternal Tao.
The name that can be named is not the eternal name.
The nameless is the beginning of heaven and earth;
The named is the mother of ten thousand things.
Hence always without desire, to observe its wonder;
Always with desire, to observe its boundaries.
These two emerge together but differ in name, both called profound.
Profound and again profound, the gate of all wonders…”
