At Mo Fan’s words, the Black Dragon King’s gaze sharpened, and it said in a deep voice, “You know my identity?”
“This king has a divine ability to discern the true forms of all things in the world, so upon seeing you, I knew what you were,” Mo Fan said with a smile.
“I see!” The Black Dragon King nodded, and with a flash of its massive body, it transformed into a black-haired youth clad in black armour.
“Fellow Daoist, it’s no small feat to come from afar. Please, enter the cave for a chat. I’ll have my demon subordinates prepare fine wine and delicacies, and we shall drink to our hearts’ content!” The youth smiled, completely ignoring his two trusted aides struggling to suppress the poison in their bodies, and gestured invitingly towards the cave.
Mo Fan’s eyes narrowed slightly, but he nodded and said, “Very well, this king will have a good chat with you, fellow Daoist!” With that, he brushed past the Black Dragon King and walked towards the cave.
At that moment, the Black Dragon King struck, its dragon claw shooting towards Mo Fan’s back!
In an instant, Mo Fan’s body shattered into pieces, only to vanish completely.
“Your strike was ruthless, fellow Daoist. Had this king not been prepared, I might have become the delicacy in your mouth!” Mo Fan’s cold laugh echoed from nearby.
The moment the Black Dragon King attacked, he had used his Earth Escape divine ability to flee instantly. Even so, his crimson crystal armour cracked, and a faint claw mark appeared on his body, showing that the Black Dragon King’s strength was not to be underestimated.
“A mere demon general, yet able to evade this king’s sneak attack. You are indeed extraordinary!” The Black Dragon King turned, its expression calm, its gaze cold as it looked at Mo Fan’s group.
“Fellow Daoist, this king came with sincerity, yet you sought my life. I’ll need an explanation for this!” Mo Fan said gravely.
“Nonsense! This king knows of Black Wind Mountain, hundreds of miles from my Nether River, separated by the vast Black Water River! More importantly, even the demon kings of the Black Water River don’t know my identity, so how did you?” The Black Dragon King snorted, then sneered, “Or is there some special shortcut from your Black Wind Mountain to my Nether River?”
“You can guess,” Mo Fan said with a light laugh, his eyes flashing with a bloody glow.
Divine ability, Eye of Charm!
Yet the moment the ability activated, Mo Fan let out a muffled groan. The ability was instantly broken!
“A mere mental attack, how could it affect this king!” The Black Dragon King laughed loudly, its voice shaking the water domain, then sneered, “Ignorant fool, once I capture you, I’ll know the answers!” With that, it stepped forward, appearing before Mo Fan and throwing a punch at his head.
A black light sliced through the water, colliding heavily with the Black Dragon King’s fist! A burst of sparks flared from the impact, forcing the Black Dragon King to retract its fist.
“Your opponent is me!” A figure in white, Black Clothes, stood before Mo Fan, swinging a scythe towards the Black Dragon King.
“Interesting!” The Black Dragon King grinned. “Are all the demons of Black Wind Mountain this confident? A mere demon general daring to challenge this king. Who gave you such courage? You’re quite the looker, perfect to be captured as this king’s mount, haha!” The Black Dragon King laughed, stepping forward, its fist meeting the scythe head-on, fearless of its edge.
“Kill! Kill! Kill! Kill! Kill…!” Perhaps sensing the overwhelming pressure from the Black Dragon King, Black Clothes grew nearly frenzied, shouting “kill” repeatedly. Black armour covered her body as she wildly swung her Death Scythe.
“Hahaha, fiery little lady, this king likes that!” The Black Dragon King roared with laughter. Its strength was formidable, each punch causing Black Clothes to tremble. In just over ten punches, her hands were cracked and bleeding.
Suddenly, Black Clothes’ demonic aura surged, her entire being’s presence rising sharply!
Divine ability, Triple Slaughter Song!
In an instant, Black Clothes unleashed all three stages of the Triple Slaughter Song, elevating her strength to its peak! With one swing of her scythe, the Black Dragon King’s previously impervious fist was sent spraying blood!
“What?!” The Black Dragon King’s expression changed, showing shock for the first time since the fight began!
Seeing this, a slight smile curved Mo Fan’s lips. He knew Black Clothes was getting serious!
