“Li Feng, is Zheng Haoyuan dead?” Hu Yuanyuan suddenly looked up and asked.
“Yes, though it was not by my hand.” Li Feng was taken aback and walked over, only to see a report on Zheng Haoyuan in the newspaper.
Hu Yuanyuan breathed a sigh of relief upon hearing this. She knew that if Li Feng had killed Zheng Haoyuan, he would never deny it. Since Li Feng now said Zheng Haoyuan was not killed by him, then it certainly was not.
“Then how did this Zheng Haoyuan die?” Hu Yuanyuan thought of how Zheng Haoyuan had been targeting her and Xu Qing yesterday, only to die inexplicably today. She felt somewhat puzzled.
“I do not know, perhaps he offended too many people. But with his death, you are safe.” Li Feng said flatly. He was very satisfied with the glasses man’s performance. “Mastermind behind the scenes, what mastermind?” Hu Yuanyuan was momentarily stunned upon hearing this. Clearly, she had not expected there to be more to this affair. Could the matter be far from finished, with the company facing further trials?

“You have no sisters, do you?” Li Feng asked.
“No.”
“Then Fu Yanxiong can never become my mother-in-law’s son-in-law.” Li Feng stepped forward and wrapped Hu Yuanyuan in his arms, saying, “Because you, Hu Yuanyuan, belong solely to me, Li Feng.”
