Hidden Dragon Heir Chapter 222

“Mountain-Toppling, Sea-Overturning!”

With a single palm strike, Li Feng unleashed a surge of power, wave after wave, crashing toward the Du Clan members like a tidal wave.

Boom!

Amidst thunderous roars, the Du Clan members were sent reeling under his Cloud-Dispersing Palm. Those closest were struck in the chest, their ribcages shattered, flung backward, and collapsed lifelessly.

The survivors stared at Li Feng in terror, no longer daring to advance.

“I told you, these people are trash.” Li Feng sneered, looking at the ashen-faced Wild Leopard. “I’ve got one more arm than you, and my strength surpasses yours. You think these losers can kill me?”

“That’s not certain.” Wild Leopard snorted, inwardly anxious as he glanced at his men. He had brought many, but Li Feng had already killed a number in the cave and more just now. Fewer than twenty remained, all visibly terrified of Li Feng. Expecting them to attack was clearly impossible.

Without them to hold Li Feng back, Wild Leopard knew he was no match. If Li Feng escaped, he’d be held accountable.

“Wild Leopard, time to die.” A cold glint flashed in Li Feng’s eyes. With a push of his hand, he forced Wild Leopard back, then roared, slashing at him with his blade. The blade’s aura gleamed, shaking the surrounding space.

“Damn it.” Wild Leopard cursed but didn’t dare be careless. Channeling his true energy, his machete turned into a streak of light, meeting Li Feng’s strike like lightning.

The two clashed instantly. Wild Leopard was already weaker than Li Feng, and with his arm severed earlier and wounds unhealed, his strength was greatly diminished. It wasn’t long before Li Feng had him retreating steadily.

“You dare harm my big brother? You’re dead!”

At that moment, a furious shout came from nearby, followed by chaotic footsteps.

Wild Leopard blocked a strike and, seeing the newcomers, was overjoyed.

Li Feng looked up to see Wild Wolf and Wild Cat charging with their men.

“Heh, I didn’t expect the Four Diamonds—minus the dead Wild Fox—to all show up. Perfect. I’ll kill you all today.” Li Feng sneered.

“Li Feng, don’t get cocky. You’re the one who’ll die today.” Wild Wolf and his group surrounded Wild Leopard protectively, glaring coldly at Li Feng.

“Hahaha, the Four Diamonds live up to their name—arrogant and blind.” Li Feng laughed. He wasn’t afraid of Wild Leopard, so what were Wild Wolf and Wild Cat to him? Even if their strength matched Wild Leopard’s, they were just a rabble in his eyes.

Killing one or two was the same as killing ten. He’d kill as many as came.

“Hmph, the arrogant one is you. Kunyang Town isn’t a place for you to run wild. You’re dead today.” Wild Wolf sneered, then ordered his men, “Go, kill him.”

“Kill!”

The dozen or so burly men, armed with machetes, charged at Li Feng. These were Wild Wolf and Wild Cat’s elite, unlike Wild Leopard’s terrified men. Fresh from slaughtering the Zheng family, they rushed at Li Feng with fearless momentum.

“Li Feng, they may not kill you, but they’ll wear you down. I don’t believe your true energy is that abundant.” Wild Wolf sneered. Beyond these dozen, he had over a hundred more men. Even if they all died, he wasn’t worried, as the Du Clan had hundreds more.

Wild Wolf’s logic was sound. Martial artists, though strong, were human. Their realm determined their true energy’s strength. Once depleted, they were no different from ordinary people.

A swarm of ants could kill an elephant—this was the principle.

As a martial artist, Li Feng understood this. At only the fourth level of Qi Refining, his true energy was limited. Moreover, he had two major enemies, Du Wu and Zheng Xiaoyang, and a fight with either survivor was inevitable. He didn’t want to waste too much energy on these men.

“Wild Wolf, you forgot—I still have guns.”

With a stomp, Li Feng leaped back, two submachine guns appearing in his hands. He opened fire on the charging men.

“Rat-tat-tat…”

Caught off guard, the men fell in pools of blood.

“Damn it.” Wild Wolf’s face changed. He quickly took cover, staring at Li Feng in disbelief. “How does he have guns?”

Wild Wolf couldn’t fathom it. Li Feng had been wielding a blade—how did he suddenly have two submachine guns? Was he a magician?

“Li Feng has the old master’s treasure.” Wild Leopard suddenly realised, his face grim.

“The old master’s treasure? A storage pouch?” Wild Wolf’s expression shifted.

“Exactly, it’s the only explanation.” Wild Leopard nodded.

“What do we do?” Wild Wolf said, troubled. Li Feng was already formidable, and now with guns and such deadly marksmanship, how could they kill him?

“He has guns, but don’t we? The Du Clan has plenty.” Wild Cat smirked coldly. “I’ll call headquarters to send everyone. Let’s see how Li Feng dies under hundreds of guns.”

As he spoke, Wild Cat pulled out a communicator to summon reinforcements, while Wild Wolf ordered the remaining men to attack Li Feng.

“Killing Li Feng isn’t the priority—holding him here is. Once the old master deals with Zheng Xiaoyang, Li Feng’s done for.” Wild Leopard said gravely.

“The old master and Zheng Xiaoyang?” Wild Cat asked. “Big brother, hasn’t the old master finished him yet?”

As Wild Cat spoke, the sounds of Du Wu and Zheng Xiaoyang’s clash reached them. Wild Cat’s face changed. “Zheng Xiaoyang has such strength? Is this the power of those great families?”

“Top-tier families can’t be underestimated.” Wild Leopard nodded grimly, then fixed his gaze on Li Feng. “This Li Feng destroyed the Blood Refining Formation. He’s the old master’s prime target. If he escapes, the old master won’t spare us.”

“What? The Blood Refining Formation was destroyed?” Wild Wolf and Wild Cat’s faces paled. They hadn’t known, and Wild Leopard’s words shocked them.

“Yes, Li Feng broke it. We must keep him here at all costs.” Wild Leopard’s gaze was icy.

“Don’t worry, big brother, Li Feng won’t—” Wild Wolf looked at Li Feng, but his words faltered, his face filled with disbelief.

“How is this possible?” Wild Wolf licked his dry lips, his expression terrified.

In the brief moment they spoke, Li Feng had killed dozens more. The Du Clan members, whom Wild Wolf had pinned his hopes on, had no resistance against him.

“How is Li Feng’s marksmanship so deadly?” Wild Wolf said, shaken. To him, Li Feng was an ancient martial artist, training day and night. A martial artist with such uncanny gun skills was unthinkable.

Wild Wolf didn’t know that in his past life, Li Feng was a soldier king. Compared to him, these Du Clan members were like amateurs trying to wield a blade before a master—utterly outclassed. Even elite soldiers would struggle against him.

Wild Wolf didn’t know this, but he now realised that using the Du Clan’s men to stall or kill Li Feng was impossible. They hadn’t drained his true energy—they’d become his slaughter fodder.

The Du Clan was just an underground faction, not a disciplined army. Even a trained army couldn’t withstand such losses, let alone these men.

“Run!”

Someone shouted, and the remaining Du Clan members dropped their guns, scattering in all directions.

“Come back! You’re courting death!” Wild Wolf roared, rushing out from cover and cutting down two fleeing men to stop the rest.

“You’re the one who’s dead.”

A chilling voice rang out. Wild Wolf spun around. “Li Feng.”

“That’s right, it’s me.” Li Feng appeared before him, blade in hand, staring coldly. “Now, it’s your turn to die. Wild Fox has been waiting for you below for a long time.”

With that, Li Feng slashed, the blade’s aura slicing through the air toward Wild Wolf.

“Damn it.” Wild Wolf’s face changed. His machete flickered, transforming into multiple shadows to meet the blade’s aura, barely blocking it.

“Not bad, but…”

Bang!

Li Feng’s combat experience was vast. Though Wild Wolf was older, his battle experience was no match. Li Feng’s fist shot out, striking Wild Wolf’s chest. The blow sent him staggering back dozens of steps, his machete falling as he spat blood.

“Die.”

In a flash, Li Feng closed in, his blade slashing down.

Pfft!

The blade flashed, blood sprayed, and Wild Wolf’s head flew, landing in a nearby stream after a few rolls.

“You killed Wild Wolf?” A terrified cry rang out. Wild Leopard and Wild Cat’s faces changed drastically.

Killing Wild Wolf in three moves—how could they not be shaken?

“That’s right, I killed him.”

Li Feng turned, his gaze falling on Wild Leopard and Wild Cat, a cold grin spreading. “Next, it’s your turn.”
