“If you don’t want to die, get lost!”
A wave of footsteps approached, and Li Feng turned to see dozens of Du Clan members rushing toward him. He roared at them.
By now, Li Feng had killed many—eighty, if not a hundred. He couldn’t be bothered to deal with these ordinary Du Clan members anymore.
His shout, infused with true energy, froze them in their tracks. Those in front were so terrified they collapsed to the ground.
“My God!”
“So many dead!”
“That’s Lord Wild Cat?”
“And Lord Wild Leopard?”
These Du Clan members had rushed over on Wild Cat’s orders, unaware of the situation. Li Feng’s shout not only halted them but revealed the bloody scene before them.
“Lord Wild Leopard and Lord Wild Cat are dead!”
“If even they weren’t his match, how can we be?”
“Damn it, I don’t want to die…”
The Du Clan members stared at Li Feng in horror. They were just thugs, despite Wild Leopard’s military-style training. In good times, they’d charge fearlessly, but in a hopeless situation like this, they fled faster than anyone.
Faced with this slaughterhouse scene, their courage shattered.
“Get lost already!” Li Feng snorted coldly.
“Run!”
“I don’t want to die!”
“They weren’t his match; I’m not dying here!”
The men snapped out of it, turned, and fled.
Li Feng sneered, ignoring them, and headed toward Du Wu and Zheng Xiaoyang.
When he had been killing Wild Leopard and the others, Du Wu and Zheng Xiaoyang had noticed, their expressions varied.
Du Wu, watching his men fall to Li Feng, was seething with rage. He knew this was the one who destroyed his Blood Refining Formation. He wanted to kill him immediately, but Zheng Xiaoyang’s presence held him back. A fire talisman from Zheng had already wounded him, and now they were evenly matched. If he went after Li Feng and Zheng Xiaoyang ambushed him, it wouldn’t be worth it.
Zheng Xiaoyang, seeing Li Feng, was also furious, trembling with anger. He recognised him as the one who killed his Zheng family members at the hotel. He’d thought Li Feng was with the Du Clan, but seeing him slaughter their men left him confused. Soon, however, he adopted a spectator’s mindset. Li Feng was his enemy, as was the Du Clan. He hoped they’d fight to mutual destruction.
Their mutual restraint allowed Li Feng to kill Wild Leopard and the others undisturbed.
Now, as Li Feng approached, both Du Wu and Zheng Xiaoyang fixed their gazes on him.
They’d seen him kill so many. Though his strength wasn’t great, both had depleted much of their true energy in their fight. Facing Li Feng now, neither was confident of killing him easily.
“Gentlemen, good evening.”
Li Feng stopped thirty meters from them, his gaze sweeping over both, a grin spreading across his face.
“Who are you?” Du Wu glared at Li Feng, speaking coldly. This man had ruined his Blood Refining Formation and killed his men—he despised him.
But seeing Li Feng up close, Du Wu was shocked. He hadn’t expected him to be so young.
“Me?” Li Feng smiled at Du Wu. “I’m Li Feng.”
“What? You’re Li Feng?” Before Du Wu could respond, Zheng Xiaoyang stared at him in disbelief.
“That’s right, I’m Li Feng. Good evening, Third Master Zheng.” Li Feng waved at Zheng Xiaoyang with a smile, as if greeting an old friend.
“Good, good, good.” Zheng Xiaoyang gritted his teeth, glaring at Li Feng. He hadn’t expected this to be the Li Feng he wanted to kill.
“Does my Du Clan have any grudge with you?” Du Wu, not noticing Zheng Xiaoyang’s hatred, fixed his cold gaze on Li Feng.
“Haha…” Li Feng laughed, looking at Du Wu. “No grudge? Forget the inexplicable attacks I faced from your Du Clan upon arriving in Kunyang Town. Just for setting up the Blood Refining Formation to refine thousands of lives in this town, you deserve to die.”
“Blood Refining Formation? Refining Kunyang Town?”
Zheng Xiaoyang’s face changed, staring at Du Wu in disbelief. He’d heard of the formation from Du Wu but hadn’t realised it was so inhumane.
“Hmph, what I set up is none of your business. Li Feng, you ruined decades of my work. Today, I’ll take your life.” Du Wu snorted coldly but didn’t act, wary of Zheng Xiaoyang exploiting any opening.
“Hahaha, old man, you want to kill me? Look at your frail self—one gust could knock you over. You think you can kill me?” Li Feng sneered dismissively.
“Kid, you’re courting death!”
Fury flashed in Du Wu’s eyes. He struck out with a palm, forming a massive hand that loomed toward Li Feng.
Boom!
A thunderous roar shook the air, as if space itself might collapse under the ferocious momentum.
“Kill me? With your skills, it’s not enough.”
Li Feng sneered, shaking his head. As he spoke, he didn’t retreat but advanced, channeling his true energy into a fierce punch.
Boom!
His fist collided with Du Wu’s giant palm, the impact rippling outward, shaking the surrounding air violently.
Crack!
Du Wu’s palm held for a moment before shattering.
As Li Feng’s fist neared, a cold smile flickered on Du Wu’s lips.
A strange energy fluctuation emanated from him, and a cyan light membrane appeared around him.
Buzz!
Li Feng’s fist struck the membrane, causing it to tremble but not break.
“What’s this…?”
Li Feng frowned, stomping the ground and retreating swiftly.
“Li Feng, you’ve got reason to be arrogant.” Du Wu said grimly. That palm had used seventy to eighty percent of his strength, meant to at least heavily injure Li Feng, yet he’d countered it.
Du Wu wasn’t worried about Li Feng alone, but with Zheng Xiaoyang nearby, he had to be cautious.
“Hmph, old man, I said you can’t kill me.” Li Feng snorted, inwardly shocked. Was this the strength of a peak Acquired Realm master? Even after fighting Zheng Xiaoyang so long, he was still so strong. At his peak, how powerful would he be?
That palm had taken Li Feng’s full strength, yet it hadn’t harmed Du Wu at all. Killing him today wouldn’t be easy.
“Gaga…” Du Wu let out a cold laugh.
“Old man, your laugh’s hideous. What’s so funny? Practicing for your funeral?” Li Feng sneered, then glanced at Zheng Xiaoyang. “Third Master Zheng, Du Wu’s strong. Neither of us can take him alone. I’ll keep him busy—you find a chance to strike.”
“I’m not interested in teaming up with you.” Zheng Xiaoyang snorted, but his heart stirred. He wanted Li Feng dead, but he and Du Wu were locked in a death struggle. If Du Wu killed Li Feng, he’d be doomed. Teaming up to kill Du Wu first made sense—Li Feng would be easier to handle afterward. Though wounded from fighting Du Wu, he was confident he could kill Li Feng.
“I understand, I understand.” Li Feng grinned, his smile inscrutable.
“Damn it!” Du Wu cursed, his cold eyes darting.
“Hahaha, Du Wu, I must say, your secret chamber had plenty of good stuff. Guess where it is now.” Li Feng smiled at Du Wu, every word laced with mockery. He wanted to enrage Du Wu. Though it risked danger, an irrational Du Wu would give him a chance to kill him.
“Li Feng, once you’re dead, those things will be mine again.” Du Wu glared coldly.
“Pity, you’re the one dying today.” Li Feng roared, slashing out a one-meter-long blade aura, carrying earth-shattering force toward Du Wu.
“Courting death.” Du Wu snorted, striking with a palm that formed a giant hand to meet the aura.
Bang!
A loud clash, and the blade aura and palm shattered into specks of light, vanishing.
“Hmph, with your skills, killing me is like scratching an itch through a boot.” Du Wu snorted, lunging at Li Feng, determined to kill him first.
“Is that so?” Li Feng sneered, unleashing his Cloud-Dispersing Palm toward Du Wu.
Boom, boom, boom!
In an instant, countless palm strikes, brimming with terrifying might, surged toward Du Wu like a thunderstorm.
“Kid, your strength’s not bad, but you’re no match for me. Today, I’ll kill you.” Du Wu hadn’t expected Li Feng’s bold move. Laughing in rage, he roared and struck again, aiming for Li Feng.
“Cyan Nether Palm!”
Du Wu’s signature move. His palms unleashed a flood of true energy, like a breached dam, erupting with thunderous force, sweeping in all directions, kicking up dust as it roared toward Li Feng.
