Hidden Dragon Heir Chapter 260

Elder Xu shook his head. “Young Master, our intelligence on Li Feng has no record of him being in the military, so I don’t know how he mastered such refined military killing techniques. And from here, we can feel the overwhelming killing intent radiating from him. It’s clear he’s killed many people, but our intelligence lacks any mention of this.”

“This is a failure of our intelligence network. No one gains such skill without reason,” Qin Feng said, his face darkening. “When we return, we must overhaul the intelligence system. How could such a major detail be missed?”

“Understood,” Elder Xu replied promptly.

Glancing at Tianya Pavilion, Qin Feng said, “Hu Meng is finished.”

“Young Master Feng, we could save Hu Meng,” the middle-aged man beside Qin Feng said.

“Save him?” Qin Feng’s lips curled into a cold smile as he turned to the man. “Wu Shunfeng, do you think Hu Meng can be saved at this point?”

Wu Shunfeng, the middle-aged man, said, “Young Master Feng, Li Feng is surrounded by so many people. If we get Hu Meng out, Li Feng won’t be able to do anything.”

Qin Feng sneered. “Wu Shunfeng, you underestimate Li Feng. His men haven’t even made a move yet. Do you think the one who destroyed the Black Stone Gang has only this much strength? Could your Brotherhood take down the Black Stone Gang?”

Indeed, Wu Shunfeng was the leader of the Brotherhood, one of Tianhai City’s three major underground forces, and a new subordinate of Qin Feng.

Wu Shunfeng’s expression shifted. Though reluctant to admit it, he knew his Brotherhood was inferior to the Black Stone Gang. Glancing at Li Feng slaughtering at Tianya Pavilion’s entrance, he felt unwilling. After the Black Stone Gang’s fall, his Brotherhood should have become Tianhai City’s top underground force. But with Li Feng and Tianya Pavilion in the way, that goal seemed distant.

“Wu Shunfeng, if Hu Meng dies, make sure Li Feng doesn’t trace it back to you, understood?” Qin Feng said sternly.

“Yes, Young Master Feng,” Wu Shunfeng replied quickly. He knew Qin Feng’s capabilities; his life was in Qin Feng’s hands. He didn’t dare disobey, though thankfully, the Brotherhood remained under his control.

“Let’s go. There’s nothing more to see here,” Qin Feng said calmly.

At Tianya Pavilion’s entrance, Li Feng was like a demon from hell, wielding a scythe of death, reaping lives one after another.

Time ticked by, and the bodies piling up under Li Feng’s blade grew, soon exceeding a hundred.

“Run…”

Even the toughest would break, let alone these thugs. They could risk their lives for money, but they weren’t strong-willed. Seeing so many fall to Li Feng’s blade, they grew terrified and collapsed.

Someone shouted, and the thugs scattered like frightened beasts, fleeing in all directions.

“Demon! He’s a demon, run…”

“Run! I don’t want to die…”

“Mom, save me…”

Corpses littered the ground, blood pooling, the thick stench of blood nauseating. It was like a scene from hell.

Hu Meng was dumbfounded. Watching his men cut down like vegetables, it was as if Li Feng wasn’t killing people but slaughtering pigs. Yet even killing pigs wouldn’t be this easy, and only minutes had passed.

Was this human?

Hu Meng thought he was seeing things, but the brutal reality confirmed it was true.

Li Feng was killing so casually. Didn’t he know murder was illegal?

Li Feng sneered, stepping toward Hu Meng with his machete.

Seeing Li Feng’s cold smile and emotionless eyes, Hu Meng snapped awake.

Only then did he realize that, aside from him and Li Feng, only corpses remained. His men had long fled.

As Li Feng approached step by step, terror filled Hu Meng’s eyes. He wanted to run, but his legs felt like lead, rooted in place.

*Step… step… step…*

Each of Li Feng’s steps seemed to crush Hu Meng’s heart, suffocating him.

Fear, endless fear. To Hu Meng, Li Feng wasn’t human—he was a demon, a god of death.

Soon, Li Feng stood before him, a cold smile on his lips. “Hu Meng, weren’t you so arrogant earlier? What happened to that bravado?”

“Li Feng, are you human or a ghost?” Hu Meng’s fear was overwhelming, his face pale as paper, clothes drenched in sweat.

“Of course, I’m human,” Li Feng said calmly.

“No, impossible. You’re not human—you’re a ghost, a demon,” Hu Meng said, shaking his head frantically.

“A ghost in broad daylight? Ever seen one?” Li Feng sneered. “Hu Meng, tell me who sent you to wreck Tianya Pavilion, and maybe I’ll leave you a whole corpse.”

“No ghost in daylight, right, you’re human! Brothers, kill him!” Hu Meng roared in fear.

“Your men have all run off,” Li Feng said coldly. “Think playing crazy will stop me from killing you?”

With that, Li Feng slowly raised his machete.

“No…” Hu Meng dropped to his knees, pleading, “Li Feng, don’t kill me. I won’t dare again. I swear I won’t trouble Tianya Pavilion anymore.”

“Hu Meng, do you take me for a fool?” Li Feng sneered. “Weren’t you so bold, wanting to kill me, play with my women? You think one word from you, and I’ll let you go?”

Pointing at the corpses, Li Feng stared coldly. “This is your fate. Answer my questions, and I might leave you a whole corpse. Otherwise, I’ll make you taste being torn apart.”

“You can’t kill me. If I die, you won’t live either. Murder is illegal,” Hu Meng said fearfully.

“Illegal?” Li Feng sneered disdainfully. “When you wanted to kill me, did you think about that? Now you talk about the law? Do you think I’m an idiot?”

“I… I… Li Feng, I never meant to kill you. I just wanted to teach you a lesson, yes, a lesson,” Hu Meng stammered.

“Teach me? Are you qualified?” Li Feng sneered. “Your master, Sun Xipeng, tried to teach me. Where is he now? His Sun Corporation was swallowed by me, and he’s dead. How do you compare to him?”

Hu Meng’s face paled. “Li Feng, spare me. I’ll do anything, please don’t kill me…”

“I want to know why you came to wreck Tianya Pavilion,” Li Feng demanded.

“I wanted to take it over and form a second Black Stone Gang,” Hu Meng answered. “Li Feng, I didn’t know it was yours. If I had, I wouldn’t have come.”

“So, causing trouble here was your idea?” Li Feng’s eyes flashed with doubt. He and Zhong Shuhui had assumed someone was behind Hu Meng. If not, had Hu Meng played them?

“Yes,” Hu Meng nodded. “My men told me that after the Black Stone Gang’s fall, its remnants were leaderless. If I took Tianya Pavilion, I could form a second Black Stone Gang.”

“Who told you that?” Li Feng asked sternly.

“He’s… already dead by your hand,” Hu Meng replied.

Li Feng sneered. “Hu Meng, you’re an idiot. Don’t you know who destroyed the Black Stone Gang? It was me. Who among their remnants doesn’t know I took Tianya Pavilion?”

“What?” Hu Meng’s face changed. He wasn’t a fool; he instantly realized he’d been used.

“Understood? Now you can die in peace.” Li Feng sneered, raising his machete.

“Li Feng, no, don’t kill me…” Hu Meng’s face twisted in fear.

“Too late.” Li Feng snorted, and with a swift strike, Hu Meng’s head flew off.

“Zhong Shuhui, have someone clean this up,” Li Feng said, entering Tianya Pavilion and addressing Zhong Shuhui at the entrance.

“Yes, Young Master.” Zhong Shuhui looked at Li Feng with a trace of fear. It was her first time seeing him act. His decisive, ruthless killing shocked her. She hadn’t imagined he could kill so unflinchingly.

She also noticed his techniques resembled those she learned in the military, yet were more ruthless. She knew Li Feng had never trained in the military, so where did he learn them?

Now wasn’t the time to ask. She quickly made calls. Though many died at Tianya Pavilion’s entrance in broad daylight, she had arranged to seal off the area when Li Feng acted, so the trouble wouldn’t be too great.

Li Feng went to the lounge, showered, changed, and emerged to find Zhong Shuhui had handled everything.

“Young Master, Song Zhiyuan is here,” Zhong Shuhui said hurriedly as he stepped out.

“Didn’t expect him to come before I went to him.” A smile flashed in Li Feng’s eyes.
