Hidden Dragon Heir Chapter 261

As night slowly descended, a luxurious car drove out of Fengyuan Group, heading toward the Imperial Hotel.

The car stopped at a lavish hotel. Li Feng and Hu Yuanyuan stepped out. Hu Yuanyuan wore a black evening gown, her tall and beautiful figure accentuated, resembling a model. The gown highlighted her noble aura.

Li Feng, dressed in a suit and tie, felt awkward in the outfit. He hadn’t wanted to dress up, but Hu Yuanyuan insisted. Still, he found the clothes uncomfortable.

“Welcome!”

At the entrance of the Imperial Hotel, as Li Feng and Hu Yuanyuan approached, a hostess greeted them. She wore a red Suzhou embroidered qipao, her delicate beauty and curvaceous figure exuding endless charm.

Li Feng glanced at the hostess, then led Hu Yuanyuan into the hotel’s lobby.

The lobby was brightly lit with colorful lights, as bright as day, bustling with people and lively energy.

As Li Feng and Hu Yuanyuan entered, they saw men in suits and tuxedos, either high-ranking officials or business tycoons. The women wore long dresses, qipaos, or high-end evening wear, adorned extravagantly, radiating charm.

Li Feng couldn’t help but think of the phrase “beasts in human clothing.”

These people looked impeccable, but who knew what they did behind closed doors? Still, it was his first time realizing Tianhai City had such a luxurious place. The Imperial Hotel lived up to its name, opulent and grand.

“Yuanyuan, you remember that list, right?” Li Feng whispered to Hu Yuanyuan as they walked.

“Don’t worry, I’ve got it memorized,” Hu Yuanyuan nodded. Though not her first time at such an event, she was still shocked by the lavish setup. She hadn’t expected the Tianhai City Business Association to be this extravagant.

“Greetings, President Hu!”

“Greetings, President Hu!”

Along the way, people kept greeting Hu Yuanyuan. Li Feng, however, was ignored, prompting a wry smile and a shake of his head.

At that moment, he recalled what Fu Yanxiong had said at Fengyuan Group yesterday: “pretty boy.”

Yes, pretty boy. Right now, Li Feng felt like a kept man under Hu Yuanyuan’s wing.

“Haha, President Hu is here.”

A hearty laugh rang out. Li Feng looked up to see a young man approaching, about their age. Li Feng didn’t recognize him, but he seemed familiar.

“President Liu, hello,” Hu Yuanyuan greeted with a smile, then introduced him to Li Feng. “This is President Liu Shijie.”

“President Liu, hello,” Li Feng said calmly, extending his hand. Liu Shijie, Liu Shichao’s brother. No wonder his face seemed familiar.

“President Li, hello,” Liu Shijie shook his hand briefly, then turned to Hu Yuanyuan. “President Hu, the other presidents are up ahead. You can go over. I have to attend to other guests.”

“Alright,” Hu Yuanyuan nodded.

Liu Shijie smiled at her, then turned and left. From start to finish, he barely glanced at Li Feng.

“This President Liu is quite arrogant,” Li Feng muttered, watching Liu Shijie’s back. Even Liu Shichao hadn’t dared to be so rude to him. He didn’t believe Liu Shijie was unaware of his identity.

“President Liu is one of Tianhai City’s top ten young talents, the future head of the Liu Group,” Hu Yuanyuan explained.

“Top ten young talents?” A strange glint flashed in Li Feng’s eyes. Sun Xipeng was also one of the top ten. Could Liu Shijie be another Sun Xipeng?

“But I feel Liu Shijie has bad intentions toward you,” Li Feng said, turning to Hu Yuanyuan. Liu Shijie’s calm demeanor seemed like a facade to him.

“How could that be? You’re overthinking it,” Hu Yuanyuan shook her head. From her interactions with Liu Shijie, she didn’t think he was like other men. She thought Li Feng was jealous, which secretly pleased her.

“Let’s go check over there,” Li Feng said, dropping the subject. He was wary of the Liu family. Liu Shichao’s betrayal was a lesson, and Liu Shijie, one of the top ten young talents, was no simple figure.

After a few steps, another young man approached. It was Song Zhiyuan.

“Young Master Song,” Li Feng nodded subtly.

“Young Master Feng, President Hu, you’re finally here. I have some friends over there. Let me introduce you,” Song Zhiyuan said with a cheerful smile.

“Alright,” Li Feng nodded, leading Hu Yuanyuan to a corner where several young men were chatting with wine glasses.

Li Feng glanced over. Apart from Zong Yanshan, Zhang Yaokun, and Gu Shan, he didn’t recognize the others.

“Come, let me introduce you. This is Young Master Li Feng, and this is President Hu Yuanyuan,” Song Zhiyuan introduced them to the group, then pointed to the others. “Zong Yanshan, Zhang Yaokun, Gu Shan, you know them, Young Master Feng. And this is…” Song Zhiyuan gestured toward a young man in a brown tuxedo.

Before he could finish, the young man interrupted, “Young Master Song, you’re regressing. He’s just a nobody. Is such a grand introduction necessary?”

Song Zhiyuan glanced at the young man, silently cursing him as an idiot. If Li Feng was a nobody, who here wasn’t?

“Some stray cats and dogs don’t need introductions in my book,” Li Feng said, glancing at the young man in the brown tuxedo.

“Who’re you calling stray cats and dogs?” The young man flared up, glaring coldly at Li Feng.

“Whoever admits it, that’s who. Why so worked up? Are you the stray cat or dog?” Li Feng sneered.

“Li Feng, you’re asking for it,” the young man roared, his eyes fierce.

“I’m asking for it. If you’ve got the guts, make me regret it. If not, stop yapping. You think I want to know you?” Li Feng shot him a cold look, a glint of menace in his eyes.

“You…”

“Young Master Han, Young Master Han, don’t get mad. Young Master Feng is just joking,” Song Zhiyuan quickly intervened. Though he said this, he felt exhilarated. Li Feng was impressive. He already disliked Han Wei, and the Han family was a vassal of the Zhu family. If Li Feng taught Han Wei a lesson, it would be deeply satisfying.

“Song Zhiyuan, mind your own business,” Han Wei sneered, pushing Song Zhiyuan aside and stepping up to Li Feng, his gaze icy. “Li Feng, you’ll pay for your words.”

Li Feng smirked, sizing Han Wei up. “A barking dog doesn’t bite.”

“You’re dead,” Han Wei roared, swinging a slap at Li Feng.

Li Feng grabbed his wrist, sneering, “Kid, you haven’t even grown hair yet, and you’re trying to hit people.”

“You…” Han Wei struggled to break free, but no matter how hard he tried, Li Feng’s grip was like iron, unyielding.

A flicker of surprise crossed Han Wei’s eyes. He hadn’t expected Li Feng’s strength to be so great, but it was only surprise. He thought Li Feng, a nobody, just had a bit more strength, nothing special.

“You what, kid? Let me tell you, be polite when you meet people, got it?” Li Feng smiled, suddenly tightening his grip.

“Ah… let me go…” Han Wei cried out in pain. His shout drew attention from those around.

“Young Master Song, what’s this guy’s name? Why’s he screaming like a woman in heat? Has he been to Thailand?” Li Feng sneered, looking at Song Zhiyuan. He’d noticed Song Zhiyuan’s subtle encouragement and knew this guy had no ties to Song Zhiyuan, so he didn’t hold back.

Song Zhiyuan nearly burst out laughing. Been to Thailand? Wasn’t that implying Han Wei had a sex change? He hadn’t expected Li Feng’s tongue to be so sharp, insulting with such finesse. But he wasn’t surprised by Li Feng’s performance, having experienced it firsthand.

Han Wei thought Li Feng was still the same old nobody. He was in for a rough time today.

“Young Master Feng, he’s Young Master Han Wei,” Song Zhiyuan answered, suppressing a smile.

“Han Wei?” Li Feng paused, asking, “Young Master Song, you sure? You’re certain this guy’s called Han Wei?”

“Young Master Feng, it’s definitely Han Wei. I wouldn’t get it wrong,” Song Zhiyuan said, puzzled by Li Feng’s reaction.

“Oh, my mistake then. I thought his name was Impotent,” Li Feng said, as if realizing something.

Song Zhiyuan burst into laughter.

“Li Feng, you’re dead,” Han Wei roared, splashing the wine from his glass at Li Feng’s face.

Li Feng’s expression darkened. He could dodge, but if he did, Hu Yuanyuan beside him would get splashed.

“Looking for death.”

A cold glint flashed in Li Feng’s eyes. He swiftly grabbed a wine tray from a nearby table, shielding himself.

“Crash!”

The wine hit the tray, splashing back onto Han Wei’s face and body.

Li Feng snorted, grabbing Han Wei’s collar and pulling him close, sneering, “Young Master Han, don’t know if you like drinking, but let me offer you a toast.” He grabbed a glass of wine and poured it into Han Wei’s mouth.

“Cough, cough…”

Han Wei struggled but couldn’t break free, forced to watch as Li Feng poured the wine into his mouth.

“Li Feng, you’ve gone too far,” another young man stepped forward.

“Too far?”

Li Feng snorted, turning to the young man with a cold smile. “You think I’ve gone too far?”
