“Li Feng, do you not think you are a mantis trying to stop a chariot?” Zhao Xiu sneered. Resisting at this point was foolish in his view.
Li Feng said nothing. His face was resolute. Even in death, he would make Zhao Xiu pay.

“You may.” Zhao Xiu knew his strength was inferior. He could only pressure with rules. The four great families stood today due to their backing power. Innate experts could not touch them.
If this Old Lu feared their backer and stayed his hand, even if he could not kill Li Feng today, his life was safe.

Old Lu smiled faintly and turned to Li Feng. “Need me to kill him?”
“No need.” Li Feng shook his head. His gaze locked on Zhao Xiu, cold killing intent in his eyes. “I will kill him personally later. Not just him. I will destroy the Zhao family.”
“With you? You think it possible?” Zhao Xiu sneered. One who could not withstand his strike. How could he kill him? Even with Li Feng’s talent, without ten years, he could not harm him.
Moreover, he refused to believe he could not kill Li Feng in ten years. Today Old Lu was here, but he doubted the old man would guard Li Feng forever.
“You will know in time.” Li Feng glanced coldly at Zhao Xiu and said to Old Lu, “Old Lu, let him go.”

Seeing Old Lu make no move, Zhao Xiu walked to the door.
Opening it, as he stepped out, Zhao Xiu turned and sneered at Li Feng. “Li Feng, you will soon know what a grave mistake you made today.”
Li Feng smiled coldly. His gaze icy on Zhao Xiu. “Zhao family head, hope you live well. I will personally slay you.”
Zhao Xiu snorted coldly. “We shall see who kills whom.” With that, he left the private room.
