Song Zhiyuan paused. He and Li Feng were allies, so teaming up was fine, but adding Zhu Yuanyang made him feel uneasy all over.
“Exactly. This time we face an unprecedented crisis. The enemy is in the dark, we are in the light. It is impossible to guard against everything.” Li Feng nodded and said gravely.
For this press conference, Li Feng had prepared thoroughly and mobilised every available resource, but finding chewing gum bombs twice made him realise he had underestimated his opponent. Such elusive methods meant even he could slip up, no matter how capable.
So he needed help. Song Zhiyuan was his ally, so asking him was natural. Zhu Yuanyang had been on his blacklist, but from her earlier reaction, she had clearly been used this time.
Of course, he could be wrong. Maybe Zhu Yuanyang wanted him dead and her reaction was just excellent acting, but that possibility was slim. As a Zhu family heir, dubbed the second Wu Zetian, she was no idiot. If she truly wanted him dead, she need not act personally.
Thus, Li Feng decided to trust Zhu Yuanyang once.

“Young Master Feng, what are you saying? How could such a big event at Fengyuan Group go without me, Fu Yanxiong? Today not only I came, but Young Master Ma, Young Master Jin, Miss Jin, Miss Ying, and Li Wu all came with me.” Fu Yanxiong smiled.
Behind Fu Yanxiong, Ma Xiaoyong, Jin Songyang, Jin Xiaoya, Ying Suyan, and Li Wu entered one by one.
“Big brother, such a big event at Fengyuan Group, why did you not tell me? If not for Young Master Fu, I would not have known today was the press conference.” Li Wu walked towards Li Feng with a smiling face.
“Haha, Li Wu, you are thoughtful.” Li Feng sneered inwardly. Among these people, if anyone wished him harm, besides Fu Yanxiong it was Li Wu. Last time at the Imperial Hotel, Li Wu had completely turned against him. Now acting all smiles, Li Feng saw him as a smiling tiger.

A glint flashed in Li Feng’s eyes. Li Wu came with ill intent. Fengyuan Group was his, Li Feng’s, company, yet Li Wu dragged in the Li family. If not for ulterior motives, Li Feng would not believe it even if beaten.
“Li Wu, I never expected you to care so much about family matters. After this press conference, there is the distribution of Intelligent One agency rights. Rest assured, as a Li family member, I, Li Feng, will not shortchange the family.” Li Feng said with a grin.
“Big brother, that is where you are wrong. Is your Fengyuan Group not the Li family’s? How can you say that?” Li Wu’s face darkened, somewhat displeased.
“Exactly, Young Master Feng. You are the future Li family heir. Your things are the family’s. I think Fengyuan Group is the same.” Fu Yanxiong smiled beside them. “Here I wish you to soon become the Li family heir. Others I cannot guarantee, but I, Fu Yanxiong, will steadfastly support you as heir.”
Li Wu’s face turned livid. He glared at Fu Yanxiong with ill intent. This was not the first time Fu Yanxiong had voiced support for Li Feng in front of him. Did he really favour Li Feng that much?
At this thought, killing intent surged in Li Wu.
“I never expected Young Master Fu to have such confidence in me. If one day I become the Li family heir, I will surely treat you to dinner.” Li Feng’s expression shifted. Fu Yanxiong was clearly trying to sow discord between him and Li Wu.
Li Feng sneered inwardly. Sow discord? He and Li Wu were rivals anyway. No need for provocation. Li Wu would target him, and he would target Li Wu. So he openly acknowledged it.
Hearing this, Li Wu’s face completely changed. Li Feng’s words were a formal declaration of war, tearing off all pretence.
But so what? Whether Li Feng lived through today was uncertain.
“Young Master Feng, me too. Among so many in the Li family, only you qualify as heir.” Ying Suyan said with a giggle.

“Young Master Feng jests. I, Ying Suyan, have no such ambition.” Ying Suyan smiled elegantly and looked at Li Feng. “Young Master Feng, shall we keep standing?”
“My mistake. The press conference is still some time away. Everyone, rest a bit.” Li Feng invited them to sit while guessing if Fu Yanxiong and Li Wu would act today, and how.
No visit without reason. He did not believe they came just for the conference, especially uninvited.

With that, a glint flashed in his eyes. His gaze fell on Fu Yanxiong. “Young Master Fu, did you know a theft occurred at Fengyuan Group a few days ago?”

“Young Master Fu did not know?” Before Fu Yanxiong could reply, Li Feng continued, “But the stolen items were recovered, in that abandoned mall in the city centre.”
Fu Yanxiong’s pupils contracted. His face paled slightly.
Li Feng suspecting him of stealing the chemical machines was normal. Only he, Fu Yanxiong, wanted them. He had planned to ship them out of Tianhai City during this press conference, but now Li Feng had found them. How could he not be shocked?
But how did Li Feng discover them? He had gone to great lengths to hide them there.
“Young Master Fu, surprised?” Li Feng sneered at him.
“What do you mean, Young Master Feng? You cannot suspect me?” Fu Yanxiong glanced at Li Feng and said calmly.
“No, no. How could I suspect Young Master Fu? With your status, how would you stoop to petty theft?” Li Feng shook his head with a smile, looking at Fu Yanxiong’s sour face. “I was just thinking, what idiot plus moron steals and hides things in the city centre? No wonder they were found. If it were me, I would have shipped them out of Tianhai long ago. Young Master Fu, is this person not an idiot plus moron?”
“Yes.” Fu Yanxiong cursed inwardly. What was Mu Jiajia doing? Li Feng found the machines so quickly. If they fell back into Li Feng’s hands, getting them again would be hard.
“I think so too. Anyone coveting Fengyuan Group assets is a moron, because they will pay a heavy price, no matter who.” Li Feng said pointedly.
“Big brother is right. Fengyuan Group is our Li family company. Anyone after its assets opposes the Li family.” Li Wu smiled, took out a document, handed it to Li Feng, a glint in his eyes. “Big brother, this is the family’s order. The family will soon send people to take over Fengyuan Group. As the family eldest young master, you will not refuse, right?”
Li Feng looked and his face turned livid. He never expected Li Wu to pull this. He wanted to fold Fengyuan Group into the Li family, like Li Group, making it a family enterprise. To force acceptance, Li Wu flattered him as the eldest young master.
If Fengyuan Group truly went under family control, it would no longer be his to command. Li Wu had a fine plan.
“Li Wu, nice move.” Li Feng’s gaze chilled. He stared at Li Wu, grinding his teeth.
“Big brother jests. This is for the Li family. Intelligent One at Fengyuan Group is a major revolution in AI. Only under family protection can it be safe, or it might fall into others’ hands.” Li Wu sneered. This family order cost him much effort. It was one of his weapons against Li Feng today.
“I never expected you to care so much about Fengyuan Group. You are truly thoughtful, but…”
Li Feng sneered at the order in his hand and tore it to shreds. “But this family order, I will not obey.”
