Hidden Dragon Heir Chapter 420

This middle-aged man was none other than Boss Su, the very person Fu Yanxiong had met in the bar that night. More than a decade ago he had been the renowned Iron-Hand King of the underworld, a pair of iron palms that crushed all opposition.

This time he had come at Fu Yanxiong’s personal invitation to deal with Li Feng. According to the intelligence Fu Yanxiong provided, Li Feng’s strength was at most post-natal fourth layer.

Yet after crossing hands with him, Boss Su realised that Li Feng was not post-natal fourth layer at all. He was post-natal ninth layer, the same as himself.

At this moment Boss Su was cursing Fu Yanxiong furiously in his heart. That fellow still called himself a member of the Fu family, yet he couldn’t even ascertain Li Feng’s true strength. If Su himself had not also been post-natal ninth layer, killing Li Feng today would have been far from certain.

Even so, Boss Su now understood that killing Li Feng would come at a heavy price.

At the same time, Li Feng’s formidable power ignited his own battle lust. After years without making a move, he was still confident he could crush Li Feng beneath his iron palms.

“Iron-Hand King?”

Li Feng gave a scornful laugh. “Truly when there are no tigers in the mountains, the monkey calls himself king. A mere post-natal cultivator dares proclaim himself king? You don’t feel ashamed? I feel ashamed for you.”

“Li Feng, there’s no need for sharp words. Right now I’ll let you experience exactly how terrifying my iron palms are.” As he spoke, Boss Su stamped the ground and shot toward Li Feng. His palms struck fiercely, sending waves of blood-red palm force crashing down like a furious storm.

Boom!

A heaven-shaking explosion rang out. The earth trembled as though it might split apart at any moment. Crimson light shot in all directions.

Crack! Crack! Crack!

With Li Feng at the centre, horrifying fissures spread across the ground like a spider web.

Boss Su laughed coldly. In his view Li Feng was dead beyond doubt under this attack. In the past, this move had slain countless experts of the same realm. Li Feng would be no exception.

Though Li Feng’s strength was close to his own, in experience and martial techniques he was far inferior. Boss Su refused to believe Li Feng could withstand this strike.

A gentle breeze blew past, clearing the dust.

Where Li Feng had stood, a three-metre-wide crater had appeared. Yet when Boss Su saw Li Feng still standing calmly in the centre of the pit, completely unharmed, his pupils contracted sharply.

Li Feng stood straight, not even the corner of his clothing damaged.

“How is this possible?” Boss Su’s expression shifted, filled with disbelief. Under such a devastating attack, Li Feng was unscathed? If he had not seen it with his own eyes, he would never have believed it. Even now he wondered whether he was seeing things.

“Iron-Hand King? That’s all you’ve got.” Li Feng laughed scornfully, disdain flashing in his eyes. A week ago this level of strength might have injured him, but now it was utterly useless.

“Li Feng, I never imagined you hid your strength so deeply at such a young age. To think you blocked that strike today.” Boss Su walked toward Li Feng with a cold smile.

Li Feng frowned slightly. That last attack had indeed been extremely powerful. Blocking it had cost him dearly.

Boss Su stopped a dozen steps away and said, “If you had met anyone else, another ten years of training might have made you a regional master. But now, in front of me, you will never get the chance.”

“Is that so? Then try it.” Li Feng replied calmly.

Boss Su snorted coldly. “Still talking big even now? Watch me teach you a lesson. Iron Sand Palm!”

Boom!

Boss Su stepped forward. Dazzling blood-red light flared from his right palm as he unleashed a terrifying strike straight at Li Feng.

At the same instant, his aura exploded upward, a towering pressure sweeping viciously toward Li Feng.

This time Boss Su was determined to kill Li Feng. He held nothing back, unleashing his ultimate technique, Iron Sand Palm.

The ferocious aura and domineering palm force arrived together. Gravity flashed in Li Feng’s eyes. His hand swept across his waist, and a broadsword appeared in his grip.

Instantly Li Feng’s presence transformed. A razor-sharp aura surged from him, tearing through the air and filling the surroundings with killing intent.

“Break!”

Two beams of fierce light shot from Li Feng’s eyes. His momentum soared like twin electric serpents, shredding Boss Su’s aura in an instant. Then, like a tiger descending the mountain, he charged forward and slashed with his sword.

A long blade of light burst forth, carrying the might of thunder as it cleaved toward the Iron Sand Palm’s force.

Boom!

Blade light collided with palm force in a deafening explosion, qi blasting outward in all directions.

Li Feng pressed his advantage relentlessly. He stamped the ground and charged again, cold malice glinting in his eyes.

“What?”

Seeing his aura shredded so easily and his Iron Sand Palm broken in one move, Boss Su’s expression changed drastically. Ruthlessness flashed in his eyes. “I refuse to believe I can’t beat you.”

He struck again, trying to block Li Feng’s assault.

Buzz!

Li Feng’s aura erupted once more, shaking the very air. Boss Su’s face paled as he prepared to defend.

“Heaven-Splitting Blade!”

A flash of black blade light cut through. The palm force on Boss Su’s hands instantly dimmed. His body was forced back several steps.

Regaining his balance, Boss Su looked up at Li Feng, horror flickering in his eyes. In his mind Li Feng had been nothing more than a minor figure. He had only accepted Fu Yanxiong’s request because killing someone like Li Feng should have been effortless.

Yet now he discovered that this nobody he had looked down on actually possessed strength greater than his own. The disparity ignited raging fury in his heart.

He had trained for decades, while Li Feng was so young. If his old friends learned that the mighty Iron-Hand King had been defeated by a youth, he would become a laughing stock.

“Die!”

True qi surged wildly within Boss Su. Dazzling protective qi flared around him as he struck again and again at Li Feng.

Li Feng watched the onslaught, a cold smile curving his lips. He dodged the palm force with ease, then spotted an opening. His broadsword flashed.

This slash was different from the previous ones. It condensed all of Li Feng’s strength. A two-metre-long blade of light shot forth, cold light glittering, momentum overwhelming, as though it would cleave space itself.

Pfft!

The blade light pierced straight through Boss Su’s palm force, cleanly shattering his protective qi. Without slowing, it carved a bone-deep gash across his body.

With a muffled groan, Boss Su spat blood and was sent flying, crashing heavily to the ground, covered in blood.

“You… you…” Boss Su struggled to lift his head, staring at Li Feng in disbelief. He had lost. The great Iron-Hand King had actually lost, and to a young man.

Tap, tap, tap…

Li Feng walked forward, sword in one hand, and stopped in front of Boss Su. He looked down coldly and said, “You lost.”

“Yes, I lost.” Boss Su sighed. No matter how unwilling, he had lost completely and utterly.

“Now you can tell me who sent you.” Li Feng asked icily.

“Kill me. I won’t say.” Boss Su’s eyes flashed as he spoke gravely.

“Heh, so the Iron-Hand King is nothing but a farting braggart.” Li Feng laughed coldly. The man had boasted that defeating him would reveal everything. As expected, it had all been empty talk.

Boss Su’s face turned ugly. Remembering his earlier words, he averted his gaze, ashamed to meet Li Feng’s eyes. Those words had been his own, yet now he had been thoroughly slapped in the face.

“Then at least tell me your name.” Li Feng’s eyes glinted as he spoke deeply.

“My name is Su Yangjian.” Su Yangjian answered.

“Su Yangjian?” Li Feng thought for a moment but did not recognise the name. “Are you from an assassin organisation?”

“An assassin organisation?” Disdain flickered in Su Yangjian’s eyes.

Li Feng paused. Su Yangjian’s expression clearly said he was not. If not an assassin, then who was he?

The instant Su Yangjian had appeared, Li Feng had assumed he was from Blood Sand. Clearly he had been wrong.

“Then who exactly are you?” Li Feng asked gravely.

“A lone wanderer.” After a brief silence, Su Yangjian looked at Li Feng. “Since I have lost to you, kill me if you wish.”

Cold light flashed in Li Feng’s eyes. “So you want to die?”

Su Yangjian remained silent. He did not want to die, but he had come to kill Li Feng. He did not believe Li Feng would let him live.

“Dying is easy, but…” An evil smile spread across Li Feng’s face as he looked at Su Yangjian with ill intent.

“You… what are you planning?” Seeing that sinister smile, an ominous feeling rose in Su Yangjian’s heart.

“Don’t worry, I won’t let you die.” Li Feng stared at him, a faint gleam in his eyes. “From this day forward, I am your master.”

“What?” Su Yangjian’s expression changed. He opened his mouth to speak, but when he met Li Feng’s eyes, his gaze struggled briefly before turning vacant.

“From this day forward, I am your master.” A sharp light flashed in Li Feng’s eyes. The moment he realised Su Yangjian was not from any assassin group, Li Feng had decided to use divine-sense control on him. He sorely lacked experts under his command. With the Divine Control Technique, loyalty would never be an issue.

“Su Yangjian pays respects to Master.” Light returned to Su Yangjian’s eyes. He rose and knelt on the ground.

A glint passed through Li Feng’s eyes. “Now tell me exactly who sent you this time.”
