“Mu Xiuzhen, did you hear a dog barking?” Li Feng turned and saw Wu De approaching with a cold sneer. He turned back to Mu Xiuzhen and asked.
“A dog? Where’s the dog?” Mu Xiuzhen was stunned, failing to react for a moment.
“Li Feng, who are you calling a dog?” Wu De flew into a rage. He had just come out of the resort hotel and seen Li Feng with Mu Xiuzhen, so he couldn’t resist some sarcastic remarks. He hadn’t expected Li Feng to call him a dog, which made him furious.
“Whoever admits it is the dog. Do I need to spell it out?” Li Feng sneered.
“Li Feng, you’re courting death.” Wu De stared coldly at Li Feng.
“Courting death? Young Master Wu, do you think I’m the type to take my own life? I think you must have drunk too much last night and still haven’t sobered up.” A trace of disdain flashed in Li Feng’s eyes. Courting death? In his view, this was nothing more than an empty threat.
“You…” Wu De charged forward angrily, ready to deal with Li Feng.
“Young Master Wu, are you planning to attack me?” Li Feng was just thinking of how to handle Wu De. If Wu De made a move, it would be the perfect opportunity. He would not hesitate to teach him a lesson.
“Attack? That’s just the behaviour of a brute.” Wu De took a deep breath, forcibly suppressing his anger. He had witnessed Li Feng’s skills and knew how formidable he was. He understood that if he fought Li Feng now, he would be no match and would only be asking for trouble.
“I think you’re just scared.” A cold smile curled at Li Feng’s lips. He somewhat admired Wu De’s self-control for managing to hold back at this moment.
Wu De stared at Li Feng with a grim expression, sneering inwardly. Li Feng, enjoy your arrogance for now. It won’t be long before you’re on your knees begging me.
“Mu Xiuzhen, let’s go. No need to pay attention to a mad dog.” With that, Li Feng pulled Mu Xiuzhen away. He had no interest in talking further with Wu De.
Wu De watched Li Feng leave with a sinister gaze, surging with towering rage.
“Young Master Wu.”
A young man approached Wu De, glanced at Li Feng’s retreating figure, and said, “Young Master Wu, is that the lawless Li Feng you mentioned?”
“Yes, that’s him.” Wu De nodded with a dark expression.
“He’s indeed arrogant and looks down on everyone. No wonder you hate him so much, Young Master Wu. If it were me, I might not have held back and would have taught him a lesson already. I didn’t expect your patience to be so impressive. Facing such an arrogant Li Feng, you actually restrained yourself.” The young man looked at Wu De admiringly.
Wu De glanced at the young man beside him with a somewhat cold gaze. If he didn’t know the young man had just arrived in Tianhai City today and was unaware of Li Feng’s situation, he would definitely think this was sarcasm.
“But Young Master Wu, Li Feng has bullied you like this. Are you really going to let it go?” the young man continued.
“Of course not. Otherwise, why would I have called you to Tianhai City?” Wu De sneered.
“You want me to deal with Li Feng?” A trace of disbelief flashed in the young man’s eyes.
“Yes, exactly.” Wu De nodded.
“Young Master Wu, you’re overestimating Li Feng, aren’t you? Do you really need me to handle him? Surely many of your subordinates could deal with him.” The young man shook his head, feeling Wu De was making a mountain out of a molehill this time.
“No, you have to do it personally, because I suspect Li Feng is the same type as you.” Wu De shook his head.
“The same type?” A sharp glint shot from the young man’s eyes. He naturally understood what “same type” meant, but he hadn’t expected Li Feng to be one as well. This surprised him somewhat.
“Yes. So dealing with him won’t be easy. I hope you don’t disappoint me.” Wu De said solemnly.
“Rest assured. I’ll handle Li Feng for you, but you know my rules.” the young man said.
“I understand. Don’t worry. I’ve prepared what you need. Once Li Feng is dead, it’s yours.” Wu De said solemnly.
Zhu Yuanyang’s villa.
Zhu Yuanyang sat on the sofa with a grim expression, dense anger flashing in her eyes.
“Miss, what happened?” Chang He hurried in from outside. Seeing the furious Zhu Yuanyang, he was startled.
What on earth had happened to make Zhu Yuanyang so angry? It had been a long time since he had seen her like this.
“Chang He, I need you to do something for me.” Zhu Yuanyang said solemnly.
“Just give the order, Miss.” Chang He said seriously.
“I want you to send someone to tell Li Feng that I intend to kill Hu Yuanyuan.” Zhu Yuanyang said.
“What?” Chang He was shocked. How could they tell Li Feng if they were going to kill Hu Yuanyuan? What did this mean?
“Miss, this…” Chang He looked at Zhu Yuanyang in confusion. He even wondered if Zhu Yuanyang had been driven mad by anger.
“Do as I say. Don’t ask why.” Zhu Yuanyang said solemnly.
“Yes.” Chang He shuddered. Though he didn’t understand her intentions, he had to obey.
“Go.”
“Yes.” Chang He left, full of doubts.
Zhu Yuanyang watched Chang He leave, her expression growing even darker.
Although killing Hu Yuanyuan was an order from the family, Zhu Yuanyang knew it was inextricably linked to Blood Shadow, sent by Chen Junyi. Without him, the family wouldn’t have issued such a command to her.
She had always been the one scheming against others, but this time she had finally tasted being schemed against. It made her extremely uncomfortable. But now she had no way to change it and could only arrange things this way.
However, being so passively manipulated was not in her nature. Moreover, this way, her goal of designing against Li Feng would not be achieved, which was not what she wanted to see.
“Blood Shadow, what a Blood Shadow. Worthy of being someone close to Chen Junyi, even scheming against me. But rest assured, I’ll soon make you realise the price of scheming against me.” Zhu Yuanyang muttered to herself with a grim face.
Fitness club.
“Mu Xiuzhen, learning martial arts isn’t easy. How about this? I’ll teach you a staking skill first. Once you’ve mastered it, I’ll teach you the rest.” Li Feng said to Mu Xiuzhen.
“Li Feng, you’re not trying to avoid teaching me proper techniques, are you? Staking skill? This lady has been practising it for over ten years.” Mu Xiuzhen said proudly.
“Mu Xiuzhen, my staking skill is different from yours. Tell you what, if you can push me over, I’ll teach you the internal energy method right away.” Li Feng smiled mysteriously, bent his body slightly, and assumed a posture from the Xuantian Body Refining Technique. His whole body stood motionless like a mountain. At the same time, a tremendous aura emanated from him, radiating in all directions.
Thud, thud, thud!
Mu Xiuzhen staggered back several steps, looking at Li Feng in disbelief. She had never imagined a simple staking posture could emit such immense aura.
“Is this staking? Yes, this must be true staking.” Mu Xiuzhen’s face lit up with excitement, her bright eyes burning with passion. She carefully observed Li Feng’s movements but couldn’t grasp the essentials.
At this moment, Mu Xiuzhen finally understood what her father had said when she was young: modern staking skills had lost their essence. Compared to Li Feng’s staking, what she had practised for over ten years was probably nothing.
What surprised Mu Xiuzhen even more was that Li Feng now seemed like a towering mountain standing there, giving her a feeling of unattainability.
Mu Xiuzhen approached Li Feng, reached out, and pushed him, but he didn’t budge. Not convinced, she used all her strength to pull and push him, but still couldn’t move him an inch.
Her eyes darting, Mu Xiuzhen retreated a few steps, then charged fiercely at Li Feng.
Bang!
Mu Xiuzhen collided fully with Li Feng, but he remained unmoved. It felt like crashing into an iron plate. She let out a muffled groan and tumbled to the ground.
“Mu Xiuzhen, with your little frame, you didn’t hurt yourself, did you?” Li Feng looked at Mu Xiuzhen and smiled. “You might as well strip and seduce me. That would be more effective.”
Mu Xiuzhen felt both embarrassed and angry.
“A woman’s greatest asset is her body. With so much to offer on you, Mu Xiuzhen, if you seduced me, you’d definitely succeed.” Li Feng glanced at Mu Xiuzhen’s chest and smiled.
“Li Feng, what kind of staking skill is this? It’s so powerful?” Mu Xiuzhen ignored his teasing and asked eagerly.
“This isn’t actually a staking skill. It’s a posture from a body refining technique.” Li Feng replied.
“Body refining technique?” A glint flashed in Mu Xiuzhen’s eyes. She thought to herself that such a powerful body refining technique was something she absolutely had to learn.
“Li Feng, will you teach me this body refining technique, please?” Mu Xiuzhen grabbed Li Feng’s hand and said in a coquettish tone.
“It’s very tough.” Li Feng said.
“I’m not afraid of hardship.” Mu Xiuzhen puffed out her chest.
“Fine.” Li Feng explained the key points of the body refining technique to Mu Xiuzhen. What he taught her was naturally the body refining technique used by the Black Hawk team. Since Mu Xiuzhen was a policewoman, practising this wouldn’t turn her into a muscular woman.
“Try the first posture first. Raise your hands… like this… chest out… waist like this…” While guiding Mu Xiuzhen into the stance, Li Feng’s hands wandered, touching here and pinching there on her body.
“Is he trying to take advantage?” Mu Xiuzhen felt Li Feng’s hands roaming over her and wondered inwardly. But this was a chance to practise the body refining technique. She didn’t want to miss it. Though she didn’t know what body refining was, Li Feng had looked so impressive earlier.
Mu Xiuzhen decided she should ask her father about body refining when she got home. With his broad knowledge, he should know.
Though Li Feng did have intentions of taking advantage, he was genuinely teaching her the body refining technique. Mu Xiuzhen’s obsession with martial arts even impressed him. It reminded him of someone from his previous life. He felt Mu Xiuzhen was very similar to her.
Just as Li Feng was personally guiding Mu Xiuzhen through the body refining technique, a furious voice rang out: “Kid, get your paws off her right now.”
Immediately after, a burly man charged angrily towards Li Feng, his eyes blazing with intense fury.
