Shouts rang out once more. The middle-aged man directed his subordinates to attack again. Tian Lang had no choice but to give up watching the Ge siblings and focus on defending against the incoming assault.
“Little girl, you’re no match for me. Why not become my woman instead?” the black-clothed expert facing Ge Ying suddenly said.
“Die.”
Ge Ying spat out two icy words. The sword in her hand blazed with light. In the blink of an eye, surging crimson sword beams flickered continuously along the edge.

Her clothes fluttered as she tapped the ground lightly and shot into the air, slashing down at the black-clothed man with a single sword stroke.
Instantly, a breathtaking crimson sword beam swept downwards. Its overwhelming momentum seemed capable of cleaving the very heavens, engulfing everything within several hundred metres.

The black-clothed man’s face darkened at the incoming sword qi. With a cold snort, he stamped on the ground and launched himself skyward to meet Ge Ying. While still in mid-air, he struck out with a palm.
The two terrifying forces collided fiercely in the air.

A heaven-shaking explosion rang out. When palm force met sword beam, a horrific roar echoed through the night. The surrounding air twisted violently, as though the entire space were on the verge of collapse under their attacks.

The two sides remained locked in a stalemate for a few moments before Ge Ying let out a muffled groan and was sent flying backwards several metres.
“Hahaha, little girl, you really aren’t my match. Women should stay at home, marry, and raise children, not go around fighting and killing.” The black-clothed man laughed loudly. The peak of the Postnatal Fourth Layer might be impressive, but in front of him it was nothing.
“Hmph.” Ge Ying merely snorted. Normally she was carefree and bold, but she was far from stupid. She knew exactly what the best course of action was right now. She was well aware she could not defeat this man. Even with all the trump cards she possessed, killing him would be troublesome. The only thing she could do was buy time. “I’m fine.” Ge Ying’s face was deathly pale. Clearly she had been seriously wounded.
“Heh heh heh, neither of you is leaving here alive today.” The two black-clothed men landed in front of the siblings and sneered.

As the words fell, two beams of cold light shot out, merging in mid-air into a purple scythe that slashed towards the black-clothed men.
“Not good!” The two men’s faces changed dramatically. They tried to defend, but the purple scythe was already upon them.

With two soft sounds, both black-clothed experts collapsed to the ground.

“Commander Mu.” Tian Lang stepped forward and asked, “Is Tianya Pavilion really safe now?”
“If it wasn’t, would we be here? How are the Black Hawk team’s casualties?” Mu Jiajia asked.
“One dead, three seriously injured, everyone else has lighter wounds.” Tian Lang replied, his expression dim.
“Tian Lang, take the men back to the training base immediately. The Blood and Killing Eagles will stay there from now on. With them present, anyone below the Innate realm can be dealt with.” Mu Jiajia said coolly, then turned and left without waiting for a reply.
Municipal Government Compound, Li Family Residence.
Li Zhengxiang stared in shock at the black-armoured man standing before him. “You’re saying that both Li Feng and Hu Yuanyuan were only injured? Not one of them died?”
“Yes. By the time I reached Binhe Road, the fighting had already ended. Li Feng and the others had left. More than a hundred black-clothed assailants lay dead. The entire road was a river of blood. It was unbearable to look at.” Even recalling that hellish scene, a trace of fear flickered in the black-armoured man’s eyes.
