With another light snap, Murong Kang’s second finger was crushed.
“You, Li Feng, do you not care about Ge Ying’s life at all?” Murong Kang stared at Li Feng in disbelief. He had assumed that once Li Feng knew Ge Ying was in his hands, he would hold back out of caution, yet Li Feng remained utterly unrestrained.
“Murong Kang, do you think I will believe you?” Li Feng laughed coldly.
“Li Feng, do you truly believe I am lying to you? If you doubt it, you can ring Ge Ying right now and see if she answers,” Murong Kang said quickly.
“Haha, no need.” Li Feng smiled.
“You believe me?” Joy flashed in Murong Kang’s eyes. As long as Li Feng believed Ge Ying was in his grasp, everything would become manageable.
“Believe you? Believe what?” Li Feng laughed coldly.
“What do you mean?” Murong Kang faltered, a sense of foreboding rising in his heart.
“Murong Kang, whether you have captured Ge Ying or not is unimportant to me. Even if she is in your hands, what of it? Do you think I would hold back out of fear?” Li Feng said with a cold laugh.
Murong Kang froze, then said gravely, “What? Li Feng, are you willing to watch Ge Ying come to harm?”
“Murong Kang, if Ge Ying truly is with your subordinates, what do you think they would do to her? Kill her? Do your subordinates have the nerve for that? Ge Ying is from the Ge family. If anything happens to her, do you think the Ge family would let you off?” Li Feng replied with a cold laugh.
“You, you…” Murong Kang’s expression shifted. This was something he had not considered. But upon reflection, it made sense. Ge Ying was no ordinary person. If the Ge family learned he had kidnapped her, they certainly would not spare him.
At that moment, Murong Kang realised that his supposedly brilliant plan had actually been a fatal mistake. No wonder Li Feng remained so brazen even after hearing Ge Ying was in his hands. It turned out he had never taken the threat seriously.

“Murong Kang, do you believe I would not kill you before they get in?” Li Feng said with a cold laugh.
“You…” Murong Kang’s expression darkened dramatically.
Li Feng ignored him, extending his divine sense. He “saw” that the person at the door was none other than Ge Feng.

“Li Feng…” Ge Feng stepped in and was about to speak when he spotted Murong Kang in the room. Frowning, he said, “Li Feng, why is Murong Kang here?”

Hearing Li Feng and Ge Feng’s words, Murong Kang’s face changed dramatically. Only now did he understand that Li Feng and Ge Feng had come to the Beauty Club specifically to seek him out. They had known all along he was here.
“Li Feng, what do you plan to do with him?” Ge Feng asked.
“Ge Feng, your sister Ge Ying is in my hands. If you dare lay a hand on me…” Before Li Feng could respond, Murong Kang shouted first. Li Feng might not care about Ge Ying’s fate, but Ge Feng absolutely would.
“What did you say?” Ge Feng flew into a rage. In a flash, he appeared before Murong Kang, seized him by the collar, and demanded, “Repeat what you just said.”
“Ge Ying is in my hands. If you dare touch me, she is as good as dead,” Murong Kang said with a cold laugh. The more furious Ge Feng became, the more it showed he cared about Ge Ying, and the greater the chance his plan would succeed.
“You are courting death.” Killing intent flashed in Ge Feng’s eyes as he hoisted Murong Kang into the air.
“Ge Feng, do you not want your sister to live?” Murong Kang’s face changed dramatically, fearing Ge Feng might kill him in a fit of rage.
“Hmph.” Ge Feng snorted coldly, then slammed Murong Kang to the ground, staring at him with icy eyes.
“Ge Feng, calm down,” Li Feng said, walking over and patting his shoulder.
Ge Feng took a deep breath, forcing himself to calm, then gazed coldly at Murong Kang and asked icily, “Murong Kang, what have you done to Ge Ying?”
“Ge Feng, before I answer your question, unseal my acupoints first,” Murong Kang said. Being thrown to the floor by Ge Feng had left him sprawled awkwardly and uncomfortable.
“You…” Killing intent flared again in Ge Feng’s eyes.

“Li Feng…” Although Ge Feng trusted Li Feng, he dared not gamble. If anything happened to Ge Ying, it was a burden he could not bear.
