Hidden Dragon Heir Chapter 50

“Let go, let go…” The young usher’s face twisted in pain. He glared at Li Feng, his expression grim, “Master Feng, I’m with Master Sun. You can’t treat me like this.”

“Master Sun? You mean Sun Xipeng?” Li Feng’s expression turned cold.

“Yes, yes, Master Sun. If you do this to me, he won’t let you off,” the usher said, his tone growing arrogant as if mentioning Sun Xipeng gave him leverage.

“Is that so? You think that loser Sun Xipeng can do anything? You’re delusional. Even if he were here, do you think he’d save you?” Li Feng tightened his grip.

“I… Master Feng… please let go, I can’t take it…” The usher’s face paled, and he started begging.

“Hmph, keep your eyes open next time. Now get lost,” Li Feng snorted, releasing him. He had no interest in wasting time on such a small fry, but if provoked further, he wouldn’t hold back.

“Yes, yes, yes,” the usher stammered, scrambling to comply.

Li Feng smirked, “What, planning to get revenge? Go ahead and try, but next time, you won’t be so lucky.”

“No, no, I wouldn’t dare!” The usher fled, but a cold glint flashed in his eyes as he left.

Hmph, Master Feng? You dared to hit me today. This isn’t over. I’ll make you pay for crossing me.

The bar’s chaotic music mixed with the crowd’s dancing and occasional screams, kicking off its unique nightlife.

Li Feng found a corner, ordered a beer, and watched the dancers sway in the dance floor, his mind racing.

This was the nightlife of this era, unimaginable in his past life. Back then, living conditions were far better, lifespans a third longer, yet such nightlife was rare. People saw it as a waste of time and life.

For Li Feng, between military training and missions, and as a martial artist, he spent his days cultivating. With only four hours for sleep, nightlife was out of the question.

In that era, true nightlife was for aimless drifters.

In this era, everyone, from all walks of life, indulged in nightlife, especially the elite, who saw it as a status symbol. Li Feng found it baffling.

Of course, some skipped it, like Hu Yuanyuan, who was consumed by work, sometimes forgetting to sleep. Her drive, partly fueled by her disappointment in his predecessor’s timid, weak nature, left her no choice but to bury herself in work to cope.

Sitting in the bar, immersed in this era’s nightlife, Li Feng felt uneasy. Perhaps it was the venue. He’d been to Tianya Pavilion, Emperor Pavilion, and now Heaven on Earth, but none irritated him like this place.

The private rooms here were better, at least.

As Li Feng pondered, a scar-faced man approached, flanked by several men in black. The crowd parted, avoiding them like the plague.

“You Li Feng?” Scarface asked gruffly, standing before him.

“I am. What do you want?” Li Feng replied, frowning. The man’s menacing aura suggested trouble.

“I’ve got something to discuss. Shall we talk somewhere else or right here?” Scarface sneered, annoyed by Li Feng’s nonchalant attitude.

“What’s the difference? Who are you to demand I talk with you?” Li Feng retorted coldly. With such bad intentions, he saw no need for politeness.

“Bastard, you’re asking for it,” Scarface growled, furious. His lackeys surrounded Li Feng, looking ready to strike.

Li Feng glanced up at Scarface, “Got something to say? Spit it out. I don’t have time to waste with you.”

Just some thug he didn’t even know, clearly here with an agenda. Li Feng wasn’t even curious enough to ask.

“Kid, I admire your guts, but do you know what happens to those who cross me?” Scarface sneered.

“What, you want to fight?” Li Feng raised an eyebrow, “Looks like we’re taking this elsewhere.”

“Kid, come quietly, and maybe my boys will go easy on you,” Scarface said, thinking Li Feng was backing down, smirking inwardly. Around Heaven on Earth, his name carried weight, feared by all.

“Fine, let’s see what you’re up to,” Li Feng said, a cold glint in his eyes.

Following Scarface to the back courtyard, Li Feng spotted the usher from earlier. In that moment, he understood, his gaze turning icy.

“Didn’t expect me, huh?” the usher, Su, sneered, thinking Li Feng was intimidated. Emboldened by Scarface’s crew, he continued, “No one dares cross me in Heaven on Earth. Those who do don’t end well, and you’re no exception, Li Feng. Out of respect for Master Sun, I call you Master Feng, but you really think you’re some big shot? You don’t even take me seriously, and you hit me hard. Hmph, I’m not just returning that blow a hundredfold—I’m taking both your hands.”

Scarface glanced at Li Feng, “Su, this the kid who crossed you?”

“That’s right, this bastard,” Su gritted out.

Li Feng looked at Su, a cold smile forming, “Su, so you called these guys. I’m starting to regret something now.”

“Regret?” Su laughed coldly, “Too late for that, Li Feng.”

Li Feng shook his head, “You know what I regret, Su?”

“What?” Su asked instinctively.

“I regret letting you off so easily earlier, knowing how clueless you are,” Li Feng said coldly, “You might not know this, but those who cross me end up in a bad way.”

“Hahaha!” Su laughed as if he’d heard the world’s funniest joke, looking at Li Feng with disdain, “Cross you? Let’s see how bad it gets.”

Su was fuming at Li Feng’s arrogance, unable to fathom where his confidence came from, daring to provoke him like this.

Was Li Feng really some elite family’s heir?

Su quickly dismissed the thought. If Li Feng were, Sun Xipeng wouldn’t have bullied him so freely at Heaven on Earth without retaliation.

“Scarface, teach him a lesson. Don’t worry, even if he’s killed, I’ve got it covered,” Su said viciously.

“Don’t worry, Su. Fighting and women are our specialties,” Scarface patted his chest, his men closing in on Li Feng.

“Scarface, you’re the one asking for it,” Li Feng said coldly, a flash of menace in his eyes.

“You’re the one who’s dead,” Scarface sneered, ordering his men, “Get him, boys. Give this bastard a proper welcome.”

“Yes, boss!” Scarface’s men lunged at Li Feng, thinking it’d be easy. But as they moved to attack, Li Feng vanished.

“Where’d he go?” Scarface barked.

Li Feng’s voice came from behind, “Scarface, didn’t you want to teach me a lesson? You think these losers can handle me?”

Scarface spun around, met by a massive fist.

“Son of a—” Scarface, shocked, tried to block, but it was too late.

Bam!

The punch smashed his face, and he screamed like a pig, his nose collapsing, the bridge instantly shattered.

Su and Scarface’s men froze, stunned by the scene, unable to process it.

“Kid, I… I’m gonna… kill you…” Scarface slurred, pointing at Li Feng.

His men snapped out of it, charging at Li Feng.

Li Feng sneered, meeting them head-on. In less than half a minute, his fists and kicks left Scarface’s men sprawled on the ground, groaning. Only Su remained, standing alone.

“Su, these are the guys you called to deal with me?” Li Feng turned to the dumbfounded usher, grinning wickedly, “Pretty weak, huh? Your turn now. What should I do with you?”
