Hidden Dragon Heir Chapter 6 - LiddRead

Hidden Dragon Heir Chapter 6

The female police officer had a slender figure, and her well-fitted uniform added a touch of valiant charm to her presence. At that moment, her pretty face bore a pair of sharp, piercing eyes fixed on Li Feng, her tightly pursed, delicate lips revealing a hint of anger in her heart.

“Hey, what a beautiful officer!” As the female officer approached, Li Feng couldn’t help but silently praise her in his mind. Having been in the 21st century for so long, apart from Hu Yuanyuan, he hadn’t seen another beauty. Encountering such a stunning woman, he naturally took an extra glance at her.

Noticing Li Feng’s gaze roaming over her, the anger on the female officer’s face intensified. She strode up to him, her expression stern, and said loudly, “I’m Mu Xiuzhen, an officer from the police station. Why are you all gathered here fighting?”

“Fighting?” Glancing at the prominent curve of her chest under the uniform, Li Feng smiled, “Miss Officer, I wasn’t fighting. They tried to rob me. I was just defending myself.”

“Self-defence?” Annoyed by Li Feng’s unabashed stare, Mu Xiuzhen pointed at the thug under his foot and retorted, “If you were defending yourself, then what was he doing?”

“Officer Sister, we just bumped his car, and he beat us up!” Seeing the police arrive, the thug pinned under Li Feng’s foot wailed loudly, “We’re innocent! Please save us!”

“Shut up!” Seeing the thug twist the truth, Li Feng applied a bit more pressure with his foot, instantly silencing him.

“Everyone, shut up!” Unsure who to believe, Mu Xiuzhen shouted, “All of you, show me your IDs!”

At the female officer’s command, the thugs obediently pulled out their identification. Li Feng, however, stood there awkwardly, looking at the female officer glaring at him fiercely.

“Your ID? Why aren’t you showing it?” Seeing Li Feng’s inaction, Mu Xiuzhen frowned and extended her hand, “Please cooperate!”

“I don’t have my ID.” Spreading his hands to Mu Xiuzhen, Li Feng said helplessly, “I forgot my ID at home.”

Li Feng wasn’t in the habit of carrying his ID when going out. Besides, this trip was only to buy some medicinal herbs.

“Hmph, forgot?” Hearing Li Feng’s words, Mu Xiuzhen sneered, “Fine, then come with me to the station. We’ll sort this out there!”

“Hey, hey, I have things to do. I don’t have time to play around with you!” Hearing the officer’s words, Li Feng grew displeased. Clearly, these thugs tried to rob him, and now he was the one being taken in by the police. Is this how 21st-century police work?

“Hmph? We can sort this out, and it won’t be too late!” Without giving Li Feng a chance to explain further, Mu Xiuzhen grabbed his arm.

Though with Li Feng’s abilities, subduing this beautiful officer would be no issue, he knew that resisting could land him with an assault charge. Helplessly, he let Mu Xiuzhen twist his arm behind his back, and with a “click,” she handcuffed him.

“Hey, hey, is this really necessary?” Seeing the officer getting serious, Li Feng was somewhat irritated.

“Hmph, who told you not to cooperate with the investigation?” Slightly smug, Mu Xiuzhen pushed Li Feng and barked at the thugs on the ground, “Get up, all of you, and come clarify things!”

Beaten badly by Li Feng, the thugs wanted to flee but lacked the strength. They could only support each other to stand and followed Mu Xiuzhen to the police station.

“Your ID number?” At the station, Mu Xiuzhen handed the thugs to others to deal with, focusing on Li Feng.

Mu Xiuzhen was somewhat annoyed. Though her striking appearance often drew attention, few stared at her as brazenly as Li Feng.

To Mu Xiuzhen’s question, Li Feng was completely unfazed. He fluently recited a string of numbers, leaning back leisurely in the chair with his hands cuffed behind him, waiting for her apology.

Sure enough, after Mu Xiuzhen entered the numbers Li Feng provided into the computer, her expression quickly changed. Li Feng’s identity and background were clearly recorded in the database. Though the officer had a fiery temper, she wasn’t brainless. She knew someone of Li Feng’s status was unlikely to start a fight with a bunch of obvious thugs.

Looking up to meet Li Feng’s bold gaze, she glared at him angrily and snorted, “Pervert.”

Li Feng burst into laughter, saying, “Hey, beauty, which eye of yours saw me being a pervert?”

“Hmph.”

Li Feng’s lips curled slightly, as if muttering to himself, “Not bad, C-cup, great figure. So feisty, must be quite a handful.”

Mu Xiuzhen stood up abruptly, walked to Li Feng, and said coldly, “What did you say?”

Li Feng shrugged, “I said you’re pretty.”

“You rogue.” Mu Xiuzhen raised her hand to slap him, but Li Feng wasn’t going to let her hit him this time. Dodging her swing, he said, “Can police just hit people like that?”

Mu Xiuzhen snorted twice, “You pervert deserve it.”

Li Feng gave a light huff and suddenly said, “It’s just the two of us here. Aren’t you afraid I might do something to you?”

Hearing this, Mu Xiuzhen’s face showed a trace of disdainful amusement. She said coldly, “If you really have that ability, I’d actually be impressed.”

She wasn’t afraid of Li Feng. Not to mention she was a combat champion from the police academy and an elite in hand-to-hand combat within the national police system, capable of taking down four or five male officers alone. A mere pervert was nothing to her.

Li Feng’s lips curled slightly, “Is that so?”

Then Mu Xiuzhen saw Li Feng extend his left hand, gently grasp the handcuff on his right wrist, and with a twist, the handcuff snapped in two, as fragile as paper.

Standing up, Li Feng rubbed his wrist, looking at Mu Xiuzhen with a smile, “Do you still think so now?”
