“Want to enjoy imperial treatment? Come to Emperor’s Pavilion.”
That was the slogan when Emperor’s Pavilion first opened, and it held true. The pavilion was a paradise for men, with women from all over the world offering a variety of exotic services.
As night fell, luxury cars rolled into the parking lot in front of Emperor’s Pavilion. Well-dressed, successful men stepped out and entered the establishment.
At that moment, a black Audi pulled into the lot and parked. A middle-aged man stepped out—none other than Yu Su, the deputy director of the Technical Supervision Bureau.
Yu Su eyed the lineup of luxury cars with envy. With his wealth, he could afford a better car, but his job restricted him to the Audi.
Yet, thinking of the perks his position brought, his envy faded. Without this job, he’d likely be just a regular worker, far from the carefree life he now enjoyed.
Take Emperor’s Pavilion, for example. An ordinary worker might toil their whole life and never afford a single night here, but he could visit every few days for some fun.
Looking at the glittering Emperor’s Pavilion, Yu Su felt a surge of excitement, greater even than his first time seeking out company here.
“Sir, please come in,” said a cheongsam-clad hostess at the entrance, smiling warmly.
Yu Su’s gaze lingered on her chest, a lecherous grin spreading across his face. The staff at Emperor’s Pavilion were exceptional—top-notch in figure and looks. His wife at home couldn’t compare, nor could the college student he was keeping on the side.
Normally, he might flirt with the hostess, but tonight he had no interest in banter and hurried inside.
His destination was a second-floor private room. Hours earlier, Yu Su had reserved one of the best rooms at Emperor’s Pavilion. To secure Hu Yuanyuan, he’d spared no effort.
Entering the room, he nodded approvingly at the decor. A setting like this was worthy of a beauty like Hu Yuanyuan.
With time to spare, Yu Su sat on the sofa, pouring himself a cup of tea.
His target was Hu Yuanyuan, the president of Xiangfeng Investment Company, a prominent businesswoman in Tianhai City, known as an ice-cold beauty with no boyfriend. But none of that mattered to him.
Women? He had his ways. Ice queen or company president, he believed he could conquer any woman. Plus, he held leverage over Hu Yuanyuan. Her company’s new smart chip needed his approval to enter production. Without it, Xiangfeng Investment could face bankruptcy. For a businesswoman like her, the company was like a child, perhaps even more important than herself.
Knock, knock.
A knock at the door snapped Yu Su out of his thoughts. He jolted and said, “Come in.”
The maroon door opened, and Hu Yuanyuan stepped inside. “Director Yu.”
Her soft, melodious voice preceded her. A stunning woman entered, her figure curvaceous and alluring, with waist-length black hair, captivating eyes, a delicate nose, and cherry lips. She exuded an enchanting charm, the kind of beauty that held any man’s gaze.
The moment he saw her, Yu Su was stunned. Hu Yuanyuan looked entirely different from her daytime self—more alluring now.
He swallowed hard. Truly breathtaking, with a perfect figure. She lacked youthful innocence but radiated the unique allure of a mature woman—exactly his type.
“Director Yu,” Hu Yuanyuan said, frowning with displeasure.
“Haha, President Hu, you’re here! Please, sit.” Snapping out of it, Yu Su noticed her expression and quickly invited her to sit. He was confident in his ability to handle women but knew he couldn’t rush things and scare her off.
“Director Yu, can we talk now? About the Technical Supervision Bureau…” Hu Yuanyuan said, still frowning.
Before she could finish, Yu Su cut in, “President Hu, let’s eat and talk.” Without waiting for her agreement, he called a waiter and ordered a lavish spread.
Hu Yuanyuan watched him coolly. She hadn’t wanted to come to Emperor’s Pavilion, but it was the best way to resolve the technical inspection issue. She was confident Yu Su wouldn’t dare cross her, thinking a small price would suffice.
Now, though, she felt a twinge of regret. The lecherous look in Yu Su’s eyes when she entered made her want to leave immediately.
Soon, the waiter brought a table full of delicacies.
Yu Su poured Hu Yuanyuan a glass of red wine. “President Hu, please.”
“I don’t drink, Director Yu,” she said, shaking her head.
“President Hu, don’t joke. You’re the renowned president of Xiangfeng Investment, a top businesswoman in Tianhai City. How could you not drink? Are you looking down on me?” Yu Su said, slightly annoyed.
Of course, Hu Yuanyuan could drink; she just didn’t want to here.
“President Hu, please,” Yu Su said, smiling broadly.
Reluctantly, Hu Yuanyuan picked up the glass and took a sip. “Director Yu, about—”
“President Hu, the food hasn’t even been touched. No rush for business,” Yu Su interrupted again. “Come, come, eat, eat.”
Hu Yuanyuan’s frown deepened. Looking at the lavish spread, she had no appetite. She came to Emperor’s Pavilion for her company, but Yu Su seemed intent on avoiding the topic, making her question his motives.
After several rounds of wine and dishes, Hu Yuanyuan spoke again. “Director Yu, we’ve had enough wine and food. Can we discuss business now?”
Yu Su, flushed from drinking, chuckled. “President Hu, why the hurry? The night is long; we have plenty of time for business.”
His gaze lingered on Hu Yuanyuan. After a bit of wine, her cheeks were flushed, making her even more enticing, tempting him to take a bite.
“Director Yu.”
Hu Yuanyuan’s face darkened as she stood. “Director Yu, you seem tired. Let’s discuss this another time.”
Yu Su’s gaze and his constant dodging of the topic pushed her patience to the limit. It was late, and she didn’t want to stay longer.
“Why the rush, President Hu? I’m not avoiding business, but it depends on what price you’re willing to pay,” Yu Su said with a sly smile.
“What do you want, Director Yu? Money’s no issue,” Hu Yuanyuan replied.
“Money? President Hu, you’re joking. I don’t want a cent,” Yu Su said, shaking his head with a smile.
“Then what do you want?”
“What do I want? Don’t you get it, President Hu?” Yu Su’s gaze roamed her curvaceous figure, eyes burning with desire.
Hu Yuanyuan’s expression turned icy. “I don’t understand, Director Yu.”
Yu Su laughed and stood, walking toward her. “President Hu, it’s late. Stop playing dumb. Don’t you see what I want?”
“There are beautiful women here at Emperor’s Pavilion. I’ll call one for you, Director Yu,” she said.
“Those women can’t compare to you, President Hu. If you spend one night with me, everything’s negotiable,” Yu Su said with a lewd grin.
