Hearing Yu Su’s words and seeing his expression, even with Hu Yuanyuan’s good temper, she was furious.
She had assumed Yu Su wanted money or one of Emperor’s Pavilion’s women—both things she could provide. But she never imagined Yu Su would be so brazen as to want her.
Who was she, Hu Yuanyuan? And who was he, Yu Su?
Even if she weren’t who she was, just an ordinary woman, she wouldn’t agree to his outrageous demand.
Her face turned icy. “Director Yu, you’re drunk. I’ll take my leave.” With that, she turned to go.
“President Hu, since you’re here, why leave so soon?”
It was hard to believe Yu Su’s chubby frame could move so fast, blocking the door before she could reach it.
“Yu Su.” Hu Yuanyuan’s gaze was cold, her anger blazing.
“President Hu, don’t be mad. I’m forced to do this. You’re just too beautiful. You know, the first time I saw you, I was captivated by your beauty. From that moment, I decided I’d do whatever it takes to have you. President Hu, just give me one chance, even just one night, and I promise to greenlight everything for your company.” Yu Su’s heated gaze roamed over her, almost devouring her.
“Yu Su, get out of my way. I’ll let today slide, but if you don’t, your days as deputy director are over.” Hu Yuanyuan glared at him, her eyes flashing with boundless fury.
“Heh, President Hu, do you think I’ll step aside?” Yu Su smirked dismissively. To him, Hu Yuanyuan was already a trapped prey. He could take his time with her, so there was no rush to force her now. His lecherous eyes kept scanning her.
He didn’t fear her anger; he even admired the furious beauty before him. Hu Yuanyuan’s enraged glare, as if she wanted to eat him alive, only made her more captivating. He realized how stunning she looked when angry.
“Yu Su, you’re digging your own grave,” Hu Yuanyuan said, trying to strategize. She’d come to Emperor’s Pavilion alone, without bodyguards, and no one knew she was here. Facing this, she had to find a way out herself.
Though from a military family, she was just an ordinary woman and likely no match for Yu Su physically. Worse, he’d clearly planned this, probably with more tricks up his sleeve.
“Ruin myself?” Yu Su sneered. This wasn’t his first time. Every woman had threatened him like this, but what happened? After sleeping with him, they all became obedient mistresses.
So he dismissed Hu Yuanyuan’s threats. To him, no matter how lofty she was, once they shared a night of passion, she’d be just like the others, willingly becoming his secret lover.
“President Hu, from the moment you stepped into this room, your fate was sealed. I’m not one to force others. Just agree to one night with me, and I promise I won’t bother you after.” Yu Su grinned, stepping toward her.
“Stop.” Hu Yuanyuan grabbed a wine bottle, holding it in front of her, glaring coldly. “Come closer, and I won’t be polite.”
“Hahaha…” Yu Su laughed, giving her a meaningful look. “President Hu, how exactly will you be impolite?”
“You, Yu Su, don’t come closer, or I’ll scream.” She raised the bottle, pointing it at him.
“President Hu, have you forgotten where we are? This is Emperor’s Pavilion, and this is a top-tier private room. As long as the door stays shut, no one will hear a thing, no matter how much noise we make.”
Yu Su advanced step by step, now less than two metres away. He could clearly see her exposed skin and even smell the fragrance emanating from her.
Taking a deep breath, he looked intoxicated. “So fragrant. As expected of President Hu. I can smell you from this far. I can’t wait to get close and really take it in.”
“Shameless!” Hu Yuanyuan spat through gritted teeth. She’d never been this angry, not even when she got her marriage certificate with Li Feng.
“Shameless? You’re joking, President Hu. My teeth are all here.” Yu Su grinned at the furious Hu Yuanyuan, feeling a thrill at her status as the president of Xiangfeng Investment. A renowned businesswoman, a goddess in Tianhai City’s youth magazines, about to be his. The thought exhilarated him.
“President Hu says I’m shameless. Want to try my tongue’s kiss?” He stepped forward, smiling.
“You bastard…” Hu Yuanyuan let out an angry cry, hurling the bottle at him. But as she raised it, she suddenly felt weak, and the bottle slipped from her hand, crashing to the floor.
“How…” Hu Yuanyuan’s face paled, realizing she could barely stand, collapsing onto the sofa behind her.
“Heh, President Hu, don’t you get it? Why do you think I’ve been talking so much? I was waiting for the drug to kick in,” Yu Su said with a lecherous grin.
“You drugged me?” Her face drained of colour, her eyes filled with despair.
“Yes, just a little something to make you weak. Don’t worry, it’s not *that* kind of drug.” He pulled out a small vial. “This is the real deal—Beauty’s Smile Powder. Cost me a fortune to get, just for you.”
Hu Yuanyuan glared at him, her eyes burning. If looks could kill, Yu Su would be dead a thousand times.
“President Hu, you have two choices now. First, willingly be mine.”
He glanced at the vial. “Second, drink this Beauty’s Smile Powder. Even if you’re made of stone, you’ll strip yourself and beg for me.”
“You’re delusional. I’d rather die than let you have your way,” she spat coldly.
Yu Su shook his head, smiling, and poured the powder into a wine glass, then approached her with it.
“President Hu, since you won’t cooperate, just drink this.”
Hu Yuanyuan stared at the glass, her eyes filled with despair, regret, and defiance. She knew if she drank it, she was finished.
In that moment, regret overwhelmed her. She shouldn’t have trusted Yu Su, shouldn’t have come to Emperor’s Pavilion. If she could choose again, she’d let her company go bankrupt rather than meet this beast.
She thought of her parents in the northwest, her grandparents, her friends, even Li Feng.
Only now did she realize she didn’t hate Li Feng as much as she thought. Even if he were a failure, a simple life together would have been wonderful. And now, Li Feng wasn’t the failure people claimed.
Last time, at the abandoned factory, he’d saved her. Would he come for her now?
At the company today, he’d said she was his woman, that he’d protect her. Would he show up?
“President Hu, looks like you’re choosing the Beauty’s Smile Powder.” Yu Su’s patience waned. He stepped forward, ignoring her struggles, grabbed her chin, and prepared to pour the wine into her mouth.
