Hidden Dragon Heir Chapter 63

Bang!

At that moment, the door to the private room was kicked open. A chilling voice followed: “I think you’re the one who wants to drink the Beauty’s Smile Powder.”

Yu Su’s expression changed as he turned to the door, where a young man stood, glaring at him with murderous intent.

“Who are you?”

Yu Su was furious. Someone daring to interrupt his plans at this moment was asking for trouble.

Hmph!

With a cold snort, before Yu Su could react, the young man flashed forward, appearing right in front of him. In an instant, Yu Su was lifted off the ground.

“You, you…” Yu Su stared in shock at the young man holding him up, roaring, “Do you know who I am? Cross me, and I’ll make sure you regret it!”

“Dare to threaten me?” The young man sneered, hurling Yu Su forward.

Bang!

Yu Su crashed into the wall, letting out a scream.

“Li Feng!”

Hu Yuanyuan’s eyes lit up with joy at the sight of the young man. She never expected Li Feng to appear like a deity at this critical moment.

“You foolish girl.” Li Feng sighed, looking at Hu Yuanyuan slumped on the sofa. He thought to himself how close it had been—if he’d arrived a moment later, things could have gone terribly wrong.

He also felt a twinge of frustration. Where were her bodyguards? Why weren’t they here?

Li Feng didn’t know that Emperor’s Pavilion was unlike other places, with tight security that made it hard for Hu Yuanyuan’s bodyguards to slip in unnoticed.

Hu Yuanyuan smiled, feeling an overwhelming sense of safety by Li Feng’s side.

“You’re still smiling at a time like this? Is Emperor’s Pavilion a place for you to come to?” Li Feng glared at her fiercely. He hadn’t come to Emperor’s Pavilion to follow Hu Yuanyuan but to investigate Brother Peng. Though the private rooms had good soundproofing, it couldn’t block his divine sense. While searching for Brother Peng, he’d unexpectedly spotted Hu Yuanyuan—and realized she’d been drugged. With no time to hide his identity or pursue Brother Peng, he’d rushed in at the critical moment.

Li Feng helped Hu Yuanyuan up, holding her in his arms. “Are you okay?”

She shook her head. “I’m fine, just… no strength.”

“Who’s this guy?” Li Feng asked coldly, eyeing Yu Su as he struggled to his feet.

“Yu Su, deputy director of the Technical Supervision Bureau,” Hu Yuanyuan said through gritted teeth. She’d nearly been ruined by him today and wished she could kill him.

Yu Su, enduring the pain, stood up, fearfully eyeing Li Feng. “Who are you?” he demanded coldly.

“I’m Li Feng.”

Li Feng?

Yu Su was stunned. He didn’t know who Li Feng was, but the fact that his plans had been ruined infuriated him. “I don’t care who you are. If you don’t give me an explanation, I’ll make sure you pay!”

“An explanation? I think you owe me one.” Li Feng, holding Hu Yuanyuan, approached Yu Su, his expression icy. “You’ve got some nerve, targeting my woman. You must be tired of living.”

“Your woman?” Yu Su froze, then noticed Hu Yuanyuan in Li Feng’s arms. “You’re saying Hu Yuanyuan is your woman? Impossible. She doesn’t have a boyfriend.”

“Hmph, nothing’s impossible in this world. Now it’s time to pay for your stupidity.” With that, Li Feng kicked Yu Su in the stomach, sending him flying into the wall again, collapsing in a heap.

“You, you…” Yu Su spat out blood, his face pale as he glared at Li Feng. “You dare hit me? Your Xiangfeng Investment’s smart chip will never pass technical inspection.”

“You piece of trash, you think you can threaten me?” Li Feng sneered dismissively. The Technical Supervision Bureau’s inspection meant nothing to him.

With that, he stepped forward and unleashed a flurry of kicks on Yu Su.

“President Hu, quick, make him stop!” Li Feng wasn’t holding back. After a few kicks, Yu Su couldn’t take it, spitting blood and pleading with Hu Yuanyuan in terror.

“Li Feng, enough. I want to leave,” Hu Yuanyuan said.

“Alright.” Li Feng nodded. He wanted to finish Yu Su off but didn’t want to do it in front of Hu Yuanyuan. Further beating was pointless, so he carried her toward the door.

Yu Su spat another mouthful of blood. Looking up at Li Feng and Hu Yuanyuan at the door, he shouted, “Hu Yuanyuan, if you spend two nights with me, I’ll let this slide. If not, your company will go bankrupt, and you and Li Feng will pay a heavy price.”

He laughed smugly. When Hu Yuanyuan spoke, Li Feng had stopped, which made him think she feared his position. Emboldened, he threw out threats without restraint.

Li Feng could fight, but so what? As long as Hu Yuanyuan cared about her company, Yu Su could still have his way with her.

“You’re begging for death.”

Li Feng’s eyes flashed with killing intent. In an instant, he was in front of Yu Su, and before he could react, a kick landed on his chest.

Bang!

Yu Su flew back, crashing into the wall and passing out.

Looking at the unconscious Yu Su, Li Feng sneered. Killing him openly here wasn’t wise, but that kick had crippled him.

In his mind, Li Feng sentenced Yu Su to death. This fool dared threaten them even now, oblivious to his own doom. A mere deputy director acting so lawlessly, as if he were untouchable. While Li Feng didn’t kill him here, he had plenty of ways to deal with him later.

Carrying Hu Yuanyuan, Li Feng left Emperor’s Pavilion, determined to ruin Yu Su completely.

As Li Feng left with Hu Yuanyuan, in another room in Emperor’s Pavilion, a middle-aged man was raging.

“How do you people do your jobs? Hu Yuanyuan was drugged in Emperor’s Pavilion. Can you bear the consequences?”

The man thought of the Northwest Tiger behind Hu Yuanyuan. If anything happened to her here, the Tiger’s wrath would be more than Emperor’s Pavilion could handle. Not only would the pavilion fall, but he’d face severe punishment.

“Speak! Who drugged Hu Yuanyuan? Who gave them the nerve? I warned you repeatedly that she’s one of the few untouchables in Tianhai City. She almost came to harm today. Tell me, who’s so bold?” the man demanded coldly.

“It was Yu Su,” a waiter replied nervously.

“Yu Su?” The man frowned. “Is he one of ours?”

“No, Yu Su is the deputy director of the Technical Supervision Bureau.”

“Hmph, a mere deputy director dares touch Hu Yuanyuan? He’s got more guts than sense, doesn’t know how to spell ‘death.’”

The man sneered. “Throw him out immediately. Hmph, after offending Hu Yuanyuan, he won’t last long.”

“Yes, sir.”

The man walked to the floor-to-ceiling window, gazing into the dark night, muttering to himself, “It’s been a while, and Li Feng’s changed so much. Looks like the plan needs to speed up.”
