Sun Group, President’s Office.
Sun Xipeng lounged comfortably in his office chair, listening to his glamorous secretary’s report, one hand slipping under her skirt.
As a man, a normal man, Sun Xipeng was never short of women. Though he liked Hu Yuanyuan and wanted to pursue her, he wasn’t a faithful type. He had his needs. Since founding Sun Group, he’d always had women around him.
By his side were several stunning secretaries, handpicked by him, all at least campus beauty level, most fresh out of university.
Sometimes, Sun Xipeng couldn’t help but marvel: money made all the difference. Back in school, women like these campus beauties were untouchable, high above. But in his company, a mere crook of his finger, and they’d obediently strip and climb into his bed.
The only exception was Hu Yuanyuan. He’d liked her since the first day they met as classmates, launching a relentless pursuit. In his mind, though Hu Yuanyuan was uniquely beautiful, she was still like other women. With sweet words and money, she’d soon be his.
But he soon hit a wall. No matter how sweet his words or how much he spent on her, Hu Yuanyuan ignored him.
There’s a saying: what you can’t have is the best, and a woman you can’t get is the best woman. For Sun Xipeng, it was true. Because he couldn’t have Hu Yuanyuan, he desired her even more, unwavering over the years.
In his view, Hu Yuanyuan would eventually be moved by his sincerity and become his. But then Li Feng appeared, her fiancé.
Hu Yuanyuan was his, Sun Xipeng’s, woman. No other man could touch her, not even her fiancé. So, he called Li Feng out and taught him a lesson. That reassured him because Li Feng seemed timid and weak, no match for him. Even as Hu Yuanyuan’s fiancé, in this day and age, arranged marriages were laughable to him.
From then on, whenever his pursuit of Hu Yuanyuan failed, he’d call Li Feng out and give him a beating.
But one day, things changed. Li Feng was no longer the timid, weak man. Not only could Sun Xipeng not teach him a lesson, but Li Feng turned the tables on him. From that moment, Sun Xipeng felt unprecedented humiliation and vowed to make Li Feng pay a hundredfold.
That day, Li Feng’s ferocity left a deep impression. Even Hu Meng, Shen Changyu, and Wang Yilong, his men, were no match for him. For a while, Sun Xipeng couldn’t find a way to deal with him, so he buried his hatred, believing his chance would come.
Heaven rewards the determined. When Li Feng was caught at Heaven on Earth, Sun Xipeng saw his opportunity and went to Xiangfeng Investment to propose to Hu Yuanyuan. To his shock, not only did the proposal fail, but Li Feng humiliated him. From that moment, he resolved to exact ruthless revenge on Li Feng.
So when that Young Master Feng approached him, though skeptical, they hit it off instantly.
The plan went smoothly. Under a series of blows, Xiangfeng Investment was teetering. He believed it wouldn’t be long before he could have Hu Yuanyuan.
Thinking of her, Sun Xipeng’s hand tightened involuntarily.
“Ah…”
The glamorous secretary yelped in pain, her charming eyes giving Sun Xipeng a playful glare. “Ugh, President Sun, you’re hurting me.”
Sun Xipeng chuckled, “Then let me rub it better for my little darling.” He stood, moved behind her, and slipped a hand into her neckline.
“Ugh, it’s broad daylight,” the secretary said, her cheeks flushing, her eyes seductive, conveying endless affection.
Sun Xipeng couldn’t hold back. He pressed her onto the desk.
A quarter of an hour later, he stood up from the secretary, feeling refreshed. “It’d be even better to do this with Hu Yuanyuan here someday.”
“President Sun, who’s Hu Yuanyuan?” the secretary asked curiously while dressing. “Is she one of us?”
Sun Xipeng’s expression darkened. “You don’t need to know. Get out.”
The secretary pouted, reluctantly leaving the office.
Sun Xipeng walked to the floor-to-ceiling window, looking at Tianfu Tower across the street, a glint in his eyes. He muttered to himself, “That day won’t be far off, Hu Yuanyuan. You’ll always be mine, and no one can change that.”
“And Li Feng, without Xiangfeng Investment, you’ll be a stray dog, at my mercy.”
Knock, knock, knock!
A knock at the door.
“Come in,” Sun Xipeng said calmly.
“Young Master Sun,” Shen Changyu entered, approaching him. “The thing you wanted is ready.”
He pulled a small bottle from his pocket and handed it to Sun Xipeng, saying, “This is the latest stuff from the US. You’ll be satisfied, Young Master Sun.”
Taking the bottle, Sun Xipeng smiled with satisfaction. “Well done. Go to the finance department later and collect a twenty-thousand bonus.”
“Thank you, Young Master Sun. It’s my duty to serve you,” Shen Changyu said quickly.
Sun Xipeng smiled smugly. “By the way, have you found the person I asked for?”
“Found him. He’s in the company now. This time, I got a Thai boxing expert, famous in Thailand. Even seven or eight regular special forces soldiers are no match for him. Hu Meng couldn’t last a single move against him,” Shen Changyu said.
“Oh, that impressive? What’s his name?” Sun Xipeng asked curiously.
“Tai Shun.”
“Tai Shun? I hope he doesn’t disappoint me this time,” Sun Xipeng said gravely. His only concern now was Li Feng’s combat skills. Last time, his four retired special forces men were no match for him. He worried that even if he got Hu Yuanyuan, Li Feng might get desperate.
“Don’t worry, Young Master Sun. Tai Shun won’t let you down. He’s more than enough to handle Li Feng,” Shen Changyu said confidently.
Sun Xipeng remained silent.
“Young Master Sun, look! That’s Li Feng!” Shen Changyu pointed at the sidewalk below, exclaiming.
“Li Feng?” A cold glint flashed in Sun Xipeng’s eyes. Following Shen Changyu’s finger, he indeed saw Li Feng below.
“He’s heading toward our company,” Shen Changyu said hesitantly.
“To our company?” Sun Xipeng clenched his fists, his eyes gleaming with resolve. “Notify Tai Shun. I want to have a proper meeting with Li Feng.”
