Hidden Dragon Heir Chapter 9

“But what?”

“But you’re the company’s vice president, after all. You can’t just skip work every day,” Hu Yuanyuan said somewhat helplessly. She knew Li Feng’s parents hoped she could change his personality.

Li Feng hesitated for a moment, then nodded.

Over the next few days, Liu Shichao called several times, inviting Li Feng to hang out and have fun, but Li Feng always found excuses to decline. He needed to gain enough strength for self-protection before meeting those people, as he was certain his near-fatal car racing incident last time was connected to them.

In the blink of an eye, it was early September. Though the afternoons were still swelteringly hot, mornings and evenings had a hint of coolness.

Hu Yuanyuan’s frown deepened, visibly troubled by a significant problem. These days, she left early in the morning and returned late, spending her time in her room searching online for information, barely saying a few words.

In the morning, after Li Feng finished a set of the Mysterious Heaven Body Refining Technique, Hu Yuanyuan had prepared breakfast in the kitchen.

After breakfast, Hu Yuanyuan went to the company. Li Feng hesitated, then drove off as well.

Half an hour later, his car stopped at the entrance of Emperor Pavilion.

Li Feng glanced at the dazzlingly splendid Emperor Pavilion, steadied his nerves, and strode towards the building.

Emperor Pavilion was an entertainment complex open twenty-four hours. The first floor was for dining, with Emperor Pavilion’s own restaurant and chain fast-food outlets like KFC. The second floor housed a KTV, and the third was a bath and sauna centre with dedicated foot massage and massage therapists. Overall, as one of Tianhai City’s top three entertainment complexes, the top-floor private rooms of Emperor Pavilion were decorated even more luxuriously than presidential suites in five-star hotels.

Emperor Pavilion offered legitimate entertainment but also had some hidden activities in the shadows.

Li Feng entered Emperor Pavilion and went to the second floor.

“Hey, Young Master Feng, it’s been a while since you’ve come by. Young Master Liu and the others have been waiting for you,” a cheongsam-clad waitress said, bowing to Li Feng. She led him through a narrow corridor to a private room in the corner.

Li Feng pushed open the door and walked in.

Inside the room, three men and three women were huddled together, playing dice.

The lighting was dim, but it was clear the three women’s red low-cut mini-dresses were crumpled, revealing large patches of skin.

“Ah, Young Master Feng, come, come quick! We’ve missed you so much these days you weren’t here,” said a man sitting in the middle, standing up. He pulled his hand from between the thighs of the woman beside him and waved at Li Feng with a smile.

This was Liu Shichao, the eldest son of the Liu family, a prominent family in Tianhai City.

Li Feng frowned slightly, still unaccustomed to this environment.

The other two men and two women didn’t bother standing, continuing their playful dice game.

Li Feng knew these people had no need to respect him. Though the Liu family was a major clan in China, in their eyes, he was just a nobody.

“What’s this about?” Li Feng ignored Liu Shichao, sat on the sofa, and spoke slowly.

Liu Shichao looked at Li Feng with some surprise, noting his behaviour was different today, but he didn’t dwell on it. He took out a cheque and handed it over. “Young Master Feng, last time I almost caused you trouble. This money is my apology.”

Li Feng glanced at it and sneered, “What, trying to dismiss a beggar?”

A cold glint flashed in Liu Shichao’s eyes, but he quickly smiled apologetically. “Young Master Feng, I’ve prepared a special gift for you today.” He clapped his hands.

A stunningly attractive woman entered the room.

She wore a sexy blue office uniform, her open collar revealing a deep, alluring cleavage. Below her short skirt, her fair, slender legs were round and straight, accentuated by black fishnet stockings that could ignite any man’s primal desires.

Her face was equally enchanting, especially her full, glossy lips, stirring an urge to ravish her.

Even Liu Shichao couldn’t help but look at her with heated, greedy eyes, though he didn’t forget his true purpose.

Stepping aside slightly, Liu Shichao bent forward and pointed at Li Feng with a smile. “Go, serve Young Master Feng.”

As he spoke, Liu Shichao covertly observed Li Feng’s expression.

Li Feng pulled the woman into his arms and laughed loudly. “Liu Shichao, you really know me well.” He tilted her chin playfully. “Beauty, from now on, you’re mine.”

“Xiao Wen thanks Young Master Feng,” the woman, Xiao Wen, giggled.

Liu Shichao smiled. “Young Master Feng, let’s play together.”

“Ha! I won! Strip! Strip quick! Or down a bottle of beer!” Liu Shichao looked at the dice and laughed at the woman beside him.

The woman was clearly tipsy. She huffed, “I don’t believe your luck can keep up, Liu. I’ll strip!”

In a few swift moves, she shed her mini-dress, leaving only a half-cup bra and lace thong.

“Come, let’s keep going!” She shook the dice, while the other two men and women cheered. Liu Shichao, caught up in the excitement, ignored Li Feng for the moment, one hand roaming over the woman’s thighs and hips, the other opening a beer.

Seeing the lively atmosphere, Xiao Wen draped her arms around Li Feng’s neck. “Young Master Feng, my stomach hurts. Can you come with me to the bathroom?”

Li Feng looked at Xiao Wen, who winked at him.

He nodded and stood, saying to Liu Shichao, “You guys carry on. Xiao Wen’s stomach is upset, I’ll take her to the bathroom.”

Liu Shichao waved dismissively. One of the women giggled, “Oh, is it really a stomachache? Or are you two going to get it on in the bathroom?”

Li Feng frowned, pulled Xiao Wen along, and headed to the distant bathroom.

“Young Master Feng,” Xiao Wen suddenly hugged his arm, speaking pitifully. “Young Master Feng, you need to leave now. Don’t come back here, and don’t see Liu Shichao again. He’s out to harm you!”

“Is that so?” Li Feng smiled. “Liu Shichao wouldn’t harm me.”

Hearing this, Xiao Wen wrapped her arms around his neck, pressing herself against his chest. “Young Master Feng, you’re a good person, different from them. They act nice to you only to get something from you. Today, they’ve lost patience. Liu Shichao called you here to harm you. Young Master Feng, leave quickly and never contact them again.”

Li Feng patted Xiao Wen’s hair and smiled. “Thank you, Xiao Wen.”
