Seeing the old woman pass through the barrier array with their own eyes, people panicked.
They didn’t realize the array only blocked the ancient creatures, not those outside it.

So, many leapt into the air and fled the area.

“Senior, did you… take this bowl long ago?” she asked, her gaze complex.
After all, Linghu Yueyue had fallen into her current perilous situation because of this very bowl, perhaps even losing her life.
“Such a valuable item, how could I not keep it safe?”
“You young ones are too reckless. You should’ve come to me directly for this treasure. Why rashly enter that lake?”

“Leave quickly, and inform your White Robe Nunnery’s Headmaster. Tell her the words of that lord have come true. This place is no longer safe. Take your disciples and leave at once,” the Clan Leader said, then shot into the sky.
The rest of the Yunling Clan followed, like countless arrows streaking toward the distant horizon.
After the Yunling Clan’s main force left, the few remaining others also fled.
Only Linghu An’an, Pang Bo, and his father remained.
“Miss An’an, let’s leave too,” Pang Bo said to Linghu An’an.
“I’m staying to wait for my young lady. You go.”
“Oh, and please deliver this to my Headmaster,” Linghu An’an said, handing the green porcelain bowl to Pang Bo and his father.

Though their time together was short, Pang Bo and his father knew Linghu An’an’s character.
So, they didn’t press further, took the green bowl, and headed toward the White Robe Nunnery.
But soon after they left, another figure flew in.
It was the Headmaster of the White Robe Nunnery.
“Headmaster, why are you here?” Linghu An’an was surprised.
“Didn’t they inform you about the bowl?”
“Could they have…” Linghu An’an suddenly felt guilty, thinking Pang Bo and his father might have taken the bowl.
“An’an, don’t speak nonsense,” the Headmaster said, her hand emerging from her sleeve, holding the green porcelain bowl.
“I came after hearing their words.”
“Our White Robe Nunnery disciples have all left, but you and Yueyue got caught up in this because of me. I should bear the consequences with you,” the Headmaster said.
Hearing this, Linghu An’an’s heart stirred.
She knew the Headmaster was a good person and somewhat understood her stubborn nature. There was no persuading her.
So, instead of trying, Linghu An’an chose to stay with her, waiting for Lord Shura’s return.
As for Chu Feng, riding the divine deer, his speed was incredible.
He had not only entered the lake but was now searching its depths.
Finally, in a corner of the lake’s depths, Chu Feng spotted Linghu Yueyue.
She was trapped.

As their assault on Linghu Yueyue weakened, Chu Feng swooped in beside her.

To his shock, the divine deer beneath him vanished.
Worse, the ancient creatures he’d lured away were now charging back.
This time, not only was Linghu Yueyue trapped, but he was surrounded too!!!

She hurriedly activated the gourd, extending the protective array’s power to cover Chu Feng.
Just in the nick of time, the ancient creatures’ attacks reached them.
Terrifying ripples raged outside the protective array.
But thankfully, the gourd’s protection was strong enough. No matter how fierce the creatures’ attacks, Chu Feng and Linghu Yueyue remained unharmed.
“Lord, weren’t you going to take me out?” Linghu Yueyue blinked at Chu Feng.
